Popovići Popovici is one of the picturesque villages of Konavle with two hundred residents who live in the traditional stone houses. This village is located in the southern part of Konavle, it is surrounded with intact nature, pine forests, hiking trails, amazing viewpoints, pleasant climate especially at night, where you can take a rest and relax without air conditioning even in the warmest summer months, with long-forgotten sound of complete silence where only sounds of crickets can be heard during the night. Today, this house, as a part of house complex Klaići, special architectural site, is protected by UNESCO as a cultural monument of high value. During the Croatian war for Independence in 1991, the house was highly damaged. It was renovated again in period 2002.-2004. and completely finished in spring 2013.
