Vacation rentals with a kayak in Missouri River

We had multiple families staying here for state trap and it was perfect! Blue house had ample room and our boys loved the hot tub, arcade games, and river access. Everything was extremely clean and thoughtfully stocked. The host even supplied fresh flowers and a fruit basket.

This place was perfect for our family of 5. Secluded property with a view of the lake. The igloo was perfect for early morning coffee and card games in the evening. Host were great to deal with as well.

Joanne was a great communicator and her home was lovely and perfect for a family gathering. We appreciated the tea and coffee she had available as well. We would stay again!

Great spot! Unfortunately Mother Nature was in control, so I wasn't able to enjoy everything they offered lol I would most definitely recommend and come back and stay again without a doubt!

Super quirky cabin with everything you need. Great comms, easy check in and a great very interesting town. get a steak from the grocery store, the awesomeness cannot be overrated!

I can not say enough about this place it was exactly what our family was looking for. If you are looking to get out of the city and relax then this is the place for you. We spent every evening in the hot tub with the most beautiful views. Sitting on the porch one morning a fox came down the driveway, a moose came right to the water 15 ft in front of me, an elk was walking through the trees to the right of me and a momma duck had her babies out on the lake in front of me all within an hour. God really showed off that day. The home was so spacious there was plenty of room for all 6 of us. It was very clean and well cared for. There are plenty of hiking trails within a few miles if that’s your thing. We also spent a day in the hot tub, played board games and cooked on the grill, so if you don’t want to go anywhere there is plenty to do right at the cabin! 10 out of 10 would recommend Chris and Catherine’s place!

We really enjoyed our stay here. David was a phenomenal host and the place was so beautiful and relaxing. David was super friendly and kind and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend!

Sara’s place was perfect for a weekend getaway from Chicago. It was clean and had everything we needed! The best part was breathtaking view from the balcony!

We stayed at Abbie's cabin for a peaceful relaxing weekend. She has kayaks available for the lake and was prompt and easy going with her communication. The cabin is in a group of cabins that have dock access and has a beautifully restored prairie with walking trails across the road. It also has a private deck for relaxation.

The cabin was easy to find and has the most amazing views! We came at the end of the season for a family reunion but I’m sure during the summer this place is even more stunning!! Since it was off season we got to bring our dogs and they loved the area and all the fun smells. The main road outside of the resort was great for walks! The cabin was clean, had a great internet connection, and being so close to the water was awesome. My husband was able to catch some small fish right off the dock outside our cabin, which was fun! If given the opportunity we would stay again!

Ted and Lori were amazing host, and when stepping into the Airbnb it shows how they care for the place and the experience of guest.

Enjoyed the welcoming by hosts, coziness, peaceful and private location near Half Moon lake. Beautiful sunsets, night sky, and nearby hiking trails we explored. Provides necessary amenities for a very enjoyable stay! Look forward to booking again.

We loved our stay at Jacob's cabin. Furnishings and decor were so comfy and quirky. Setting was very private and relaxing. Weather was not the greatest, but we did get out to do some canoeing and would love to return with warmer temps to enjoy some swimming. Had some drinks at the Elk Creek Tavern (great prices and cold beer) and went to dinner at the 4mile restaurant and bar. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at this sweet little cabin! The space was cozy and so thoughtfully laid out and stocked with everything we needed. The stunning outdoor space made the experience so special. We enjoyed kayaking, reading in the hammocks and comfortable chairs, grilling, having fires, and watching pileated and red-headed woodpeckers feeding their babies right next to the cabin. We will be back!

For a girl that loves architecture, design and the outdoors this house was a dream come true!

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The cabin was clean, cozy, and exactly as described—actually, even better in person. We loved the peaceful setting surrounded by nature; it gave us the perfect chance to relax and unplug. Everything we needed was provided, from a fully stocked kitchen to extra blankets and thoughtful touches throughout the home. Our favorite part was sitting on the porch in the mornings, enjoying coffee with a beautiful view and the calming sound of nearby water. It truly felt like a home away from home. The hosts were communicative, kind, and made check-in super easy. We’re already talking about coming back again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway!

This is the 5th or 6th time we've stayed at the Ely log cabin. As longtime visitors, we've always loved enjoyed the location, privacy, beautiful setting and easy access to Bear's Head state park, Lake Vermillion, Ely and so much more. Thanks for sharing your beautiful cabin with us over the years. We've truly enjoyed it.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this cabin! It was fully equipped with everything we needed and more—every detail was thoughtfully considered. The location was perfect: peaceful, scenic, and close to everything we wanted to explore. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated, making it feel like a true home away from home. The amenities were top-notch, and the views were simply breathtaking. Whether we were relaxing inside or enjoying the outdoors, everything was just perfect. The hosts were incredibly attentive and responsive, making sure we had a seamless experience from start to finish. Highly recommend—this place exceeded all our expectations!

Shereen was very responsive and helpful!! The place looked like the photos. It is a little walk to the lake and you can’t see the lake from the house but it was still beautiful countryside. Very spacious and lots of yard space for games and being outside. Didn’t use the lake front as water was really high and you couldn’t walk out to the dock because of this. Not her fault of course just be aware if you are renting during a rainy time. Lots of sleeping spaces and great kitchen!! Would definitely consider renting again.
