This very nice Chalet (which might have been an old Rustico) is in a really prime location, with magnifincient views over the lake and the mountains. The location is very quiet, also as it is at the end of a tiny private road. The house is well-equiped, and well prepared for us. We are a family with 2 small kids (5 and 11), who enjoyed the views, the garden and the wild life (especially the lizards) all around the house. Highly recommended. We will be back.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb home. The house was incredibly spacious, clean, and well-appointed—perfect for our family getaway. One of the highlights was the private pool, which our grandson absolutely adored. It provided endless hours of fun and relaxation. Upon our arrival, we were touched by the generous welcome basket thoughtfully prepared by the host. It included essential staples, fresh fruits, and nuts—exactly what we needed after a long day of travel. This gesture made us feel immediately cared for and at home. What truly set this experience apart was the host himself. Not only was he kind and attentive, but he also went above and beyond by personally offering us a tour of Bellagio and the surrounding Lake Como area. Thanks to him, we explored charming villas, scenic spots, and hidden gems that we would have otherwise missed. It was a delightful and unforgettable experience. Wonderful apartment in Colonno!! I recommend renting a car since it is far from downtown Como and the bus only runs on the weekend, but the view is worth it! Our local contact Cinzia was extremely helpful, friendly and provided lots of great local recommendations. We would definitely stay here again.

It was a great stay, we had a nice time. It had everything we needed. The place is super small, there is a great bar with great views, a restaurant and the hiking trails, to cannobio it is a 40 min walk

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were particularly impressed by the courtyard, which invites you to a cozy get-together on warm summer nights. The apartments are equipped with everything you could ask for and beautifully furnished. The communication was also very pleasant and you could always expect a quick response. Overall, a great recommendation and we would all come back immediately.

The place was beautiful with a fantastic view – absolutely idyllic location! You have to walk a bit, as it is not directly accessible by car, but the walk is definitely worth it. Siggi was a great hostess: She was right next door, always responsive, very helpful and always responded quickly to our concerns. The check-in and check-out also went smoothly. We felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime!

Four of us stayed here for only a couple days and were incredibly impressed by the spectacular view of the lake and the surroundings. It looked like out of a travel magazine. The unit itself was quite nice with total upgrades everywhere which were in top condition. If you are driving yourself up the hill to the home be prepared for some fun driving adventures on twisting turning curves that are somewhat narrow. We always had a driver. We could see that it takes some experience to get good at it.

Words can not describe how incredible this place was. The photos do not do the villa justice of how incredible the view was. Michela was a fantastic host who met us and showed up around the villa. It has more appliances than an electrical, and has everything you need. If you can make time to stay here I would highly recommend it. A true authentic Italian getaway at Lake Como. Wow, wow, wow!!

Incredible stay. Location was perfect - beautiful and quiet. Ferry access in town and garage parking were great amenities. Private dock access was nice - Nicola helped us arrange a boat rental and we were picked up right at the dock. Clean, crib for baby provided. Nicola was very helpful and always available. A few things to note: for grocery store, 15-20 m drive. Trash has to be disposed at public area: 12m walk. Thank you Nicola, we will be back!

We spent a wonderful week at the villa and especially enjoyed the lovely and big garden. The kitchen and living-area are nice and spacious. Outside the house there are lots of lovely places where you can stay. It is quiet and you can only hear the birds (no traffic). In the village nearby (5‘ with the car) there is a good restaurant. We would always come back.

The accommodation exceeded all expectations, even better than in the photos. Every detail is perfectly thought out. The host and staff were exceptionally kind and attentive.

I cannot recommend this villa more. It is up a hill so it’s best if you have a car and you’ll be rewarded with amazing views and a gorgeous yard. The villa was spacious, artfully appointed yet cozy, and had everything I needed in the kitchen. It truly felt like a home while I was there and it was incredibly peaceful. Make my vacation memorable!

We (8 adults, 4 small children) had a great time in the beautiful and spacious villa. We especially enjoyed the time in the huge garden with the great pool. In addition, communication with Sebastiano and his son was always quick and straightforward. We will be happy to come back!

We had a magical stay at Patrizia and Gigi’s. Thanks to them we lived a very special experience in an absolute breathtaking location. The house is extremely clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. All the amenities and outdoor spaces are really nice. The hosts were very friendly, proactive and accommodating, yet we still enjoyed a lot of privacy and quiet.

The Baita dell'Est is much more than just a place to stay – it is a place full of tranquility, magic and loving details. The cabin is fantastically located, stylishly furnished and offers a real experience with the hot tub and the view. We came for the 5th anniversary – and got much more than just a nice place to stay. We've collected memories that will last. What made this stay so special was Nicola. His cordiality, reliability and tips complemented everything perfectly. You can tell right away: there's a real heart in it. We can especially recommend a breakfast in the Pasticceria Mastai in Chiavenna - heavenly! A great place in the mountains to Lake Maggiore, quiet and relaxed environment. Also easy to reach with a larger car. Thank you for a lovely few days.

This place was perfect for our two nights in Lake Como! Could not beat that view and the hot tub was fantastic after a long day of exploring. Host was easy to reach and had good instructions for check in. Would highly recommend a visit to Orrido di Vezio for a small hike and visit to the castle not too far away. All in all you couldn’t ask for anything more

Exceptional host, exceptional place! We loved our stay in Wild Field Lodge and, as hosts ourselves, greatly appreciated the thoughtful amenities available throughout the property. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids under 5, and so it’s tricky to find accommodations that are actually relaxing, let alone loaded with toys and kid entertainment. This place is serene, fun, well equipped, and beautiful. The host’s communication and generosity were outstanding. You can feel the love invested in this property, and that makes for a very special life experience. Highly recommend!
