Cabin vacation rentals in Minnetonka

We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely return to Beth’s cabin. It’s hard to believe such an incredible lake experience is just about an hour from the Twin Cities. The cabin, while cozy and charming, had everything we needed. The backyard setup offered a stunning view of the lake and made for the perfect evening meals and hot tubbing. Just a small note for future guests: if privacy is a top priority, it’s good to know that one bedroom has a curtain and the other has a sliding barn-style door. It didn’t affect our stay, but something to keep in mind depending on your group.

Chris’ place was just as described. Beautiful views, clean, and sharp kitchen knives were a lovely bonus! Like some others have said I would prefer blinds or curtains in the front living room for a bit of added privacy.

The cabin was absolutely gorgeous! The outdoor space alone was worth every dollar we paid. The interior offered many different sleeping options, none of which felt cramped or out of place for our larger group. There is a store that is a walkable distance away, which made it easy to pick up a few last minute items. Michaela was responsive when we had questions and check in/check out was a breeze. I will absolutely be coming back!

Leisa was a fantastic host! The cabin was extremely clean, and included everything you need to feel right at home. The location was fantastic - peaceful and private. I’m positive this hidden gem won’t be so hidden for long. Easily one of the most memorable vacations for me. Highly recommend!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

We had such a great time at this cabin! We felt at home immediately and there was something for all of us to do at any given point. From the comfy couch to the dock where endless hours were spent by our kids casting a line- we had just the most enjoyable visit!

I needed a place to be alone and rest in a quiet and peaceful place. I am a stressed out caregiver and needed some respite. I wanted to be on a lake to look out at and sit by. I found the perfect place! Erika was a wonderful host who had some nice touches to make me feel welcome. I loved the feeling of being in a cabin on a lake but so close to the metro! I had beautiful sunsets! I’d love to return with my grandkids in the summer. There are so many water toys to play on the lake!

Spacious home large enough for the whole extended family with all the amenities of home. The house was situated on a sizable lot adjacent to Mink Lake, which was beautiful and also so nice to view right from the dock.

We had a great week! The main level was listed as "shared," but no one else was ever there when we were. There were 2 wonderful patios, 1 right off the master bedroom. It was less then a block to Bald Eagle Lake with a small beach. Beds were very comfortable. We would love to come back!

This cabin lives up to its "hygge" description. It's peaceful, comfortable, and cozy, especially the sleeping loft. Great place for a personal retreat or romantic couples getaway! I loved the thoughtful Nordic decor, the big, well-equipped kitchen, and the heated floors. I also liked the wooded setting -- I saw deer and heard owls, and went hiking at William O'Brien State Park, only 5 minutes away. Susan was responsive and friendly, and she knows a lot about the history of the area. Highly recommend this unique cabin for its appealing combination of rustic simplicity and contemporary convenience and comfort.

This Airbnb is gorgeous! Such a warm and cozy space, very luxurious but still felt safe. The host gave very clear instructions in their guide, and accessing everything was very easy; additionally, the host responded incredibly fast when needed. I definitely hope to stay here again!

I just wanted to say this place was very homey, close enough to the city and super easy to get to. This home had many games and activities to do at the location, for kids and adults. The place was clean and super easy to access. If you’re into the lake life this place is awesome, big dock, clear lake, and lots of fish for viewing or catching. Kevin is a super awesome host. Myself, my mother and my three children stayed for 6 nights at Sally’s place. We loved our stay. We were a short drive to Nickelodeon Universe, but most importantly the lake views were just as wonderful as I had imagined. We ate breakfast every morning on the patio overlooking the lake. My children loved swimming in the lake off the little sandy beach area. Sally took my three children for a ride in the paddle boat and they loved it. My children loved talking with Sally. Don’t miss out on the relaxing scenery.

This was a fabulous place to stay - just the right size for two, and very cozy - while friends did their own rustic cabin camping in nearby William O'Brien! A side-channel of the St. Croix River is just out the door, with a short hiking trail through the nearby woods, and birds singing their spring songs. It was just what we needed for a quiet respite.

I stayed with my sisters and their kids. Plenty of space for all of us. Lots of toys for the kids. The karaoke machine was a hit. The kitchen had everything we needed. We had a fabulous time together. Location was great. We rented the pontoon boat and had so much fun! Would absolutely love to stay here again!
