We had a great time at Hanno's place. The village is nice with two tiny supermarkets around the corner. A 5 minutes walk to the main road but also a possibility to put the car in front of the house. The beds where very good and it was amazingly quiet in the night so we slept very well. It is also nice to walk from the house along the cost to the next village Lira, where you find a beautiful beach. Anyway, we will go there again. Antonia and Jacob

Unique roomy apartment with private yard, well equipped kitchen, extremely quiet and dark for sleeping. The lower level was more comfortable after running the dehumidifier because of the large stone wall foundations. This gives it character and coolness. We even played one of the games provided. Very thoughtful hosts.

José is a considerate, pleasant host speaks impeccable French in addition, José is of rare honesty i forgot a pouch with money I thought I'd lost, and he called me to let me know. we turned around to pick it up a big thank you to José

Fabulous accommodation in a great location, it was very easy to find and within walking distance of all the main sites. The house has 3 floors and had plenty of space for the six of us. The kitchen was well equipped with crockery/cookware and we self catered a few evenings as there are supermarkets nearby and some basic ingredients were provided. Bed linen & towels were great quality and there is also a washing machine. We were very happy with everything - it’s one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve been to & would definitely recommend!

Ana's house in Vila Nova de Gaia was ideal for me. It is in a very peaceful location, but close to public transport and a very short walk to the river. It was recently refurbished and it shows. The kitchen has everything you need, fast internet in case you have to work from here, and plenty of sunshine in the outside space, as well as a stunning view of the Mosteiro da Serra do Pilar on the "first floor" balcony. Ana was responsive and always helped when needed. I highly recommend this house if you are looking to visit Porto for a short or long period, however you want to stay somewhere peaceful away from the hustle and bustle of Porto.

The stay was very pleasant, the house is located a few minutes from the center of the city of Apulia, a quiet area ideal for going to disconnect. In my case we were a family and we were delighted with both the house and the place, clean, tidy, with all the accessories to make you feel at home. Separate mention for the friendliness of Fernando who advised me and recommended how to get to the place and how to access the area of the house easier, I will definitely come back enchanted when I'm around! 👌🏽👏🏽

Proximity to the Douro River with views up and down the valley and outdoor spaces including the wonderful swimming pool with great views and barbecue area made for a very relaxing holiday. There is no Aircon but thick granite walls and open shutters allow the natural breeze to keep the house cool even when it's 35C plus outside. I think I left a board game called Genius Square behind and wish it to remain there. have a good if you stay.

Leocadios place was the perfect spot to stay while walking the Camino de Santiago. It was very clean, easy to find, and perfect location. And without speaking very much English, he was very welcoming, and took exceptional strides to ensure our comfort. Leo even made sure we knew where to walk the next day. Highly recommend!! Irene's place was a €4 taxi ride from the airport, accessed remotely on arrival by Irene. Beautiful apartment, clean and nicely decorated. Easily extended our stay, due to weather and Irene took care of our bags, after checkout, for the day. Great communication throughout our stay, very responsive, which was good during the national powercut. The apartment is a 20-30 minute walk down to the Douro River which allows for great exploration of this wonderful city. There are numerous markets en route with countless bars, shops and restaurants to choose from. There is also some fascinating architecture to enjoy, not to mention the street performers. The river is an area where many people congregate to enjoy the local vibe, and across it is a whole other area to wander around, including the Port distillerys. Based on my experience of Irene, and her apartment, I cannot recommend it highly enough. My family had a wonderful experience here due to Irene, the apartment, the city and the weather

Beautiful apartment with plenty of space. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this location. The host was friendly and forthcoming. The house was clean and fully equipped. Fortunately there were heaters all over the place, so even during our winter stay, we stayed warm and cozy.

A wonderful stay! The place is about half an hour from Porto, easy drive. As expected right on the beach with a view that we can never get tired of. Smooth check in and the place was super clean and comfortable. Beds are comfortable and there are shutters to block the light if you like to sleep in. Noise from board walk doesn't get to the bed rooms. Kitchen was great so easy breakfasts, coffee and reheating food. Great access to beach toys and umbrellas for beach days. The host was very accommodating and responsive which we hugely appreciated. There are lots of lovely restaurants around and we spent a couple days in the city, some in the hills and some enjoying the coast. It's a perfect mix of city break with the beach air. Thank you for an amazing stay, highly recommended.

A beautiful house with everything you need, the jacuzzi and the pool are a plus, and everything was very clean and new. Communicating with stephanie was very easy and she was very kind, if we return to the area we will definitely stay there again

Marcos was a great host. He greeted us and gave us a personal tour of the apartment. He had provided snacks, beverages and staple cooking ingredients. Very friendly and welcoming. The apartment is beautifully appointed & comfortable and has a pleasant layout - we felt very much at home. It was in a very peaceful, quiet & beautiful neighborhood - we slept very well there. We would highly recommend staying at Marcos' place!

Pedro’s listing is very very good. The place is very well located and walkable to many of the main sites. It was in neat condition and the kitchen is very very well equipped. The host was very helpful and left very clear instructions. Our stay was very good. Great to have parking on site, but only for smaller cars since it has a car elevator.

We were a group of 6 and stayed at the property for 5 nights. Check-in and communication were great. We felt very comfortable. Clear recommendation

Dario was very proactive in making sure we did not lack anything or information to get around. Went out of his way to help us find parking which was a bit tricky at first. The apartment is amazing with lots of room and very well located. Loved our stay.

Appartement with the best view! It’s very spacious and well equipped. During our stay the weather wasn’t very good, but because of the beautiful view onto the beach and inlet we still enjoyed every moment of it. The kitchen is well equipped and there were all these kind extras like cookies and beer. We were here during the week when the bar below is closed, but when it opened up on Friday we did have some noise during the evening. But the earplugs are already besides the beds, which made it a lot better. Would recommend this apartment!

We needed peace and connection and we were served. Rita and Miguel were as discreet as they were responsive to our requests. The pool is super nice with a very nice view . The space was ideally suited to our needs.

The apartment is very clean, which is not a given in Portugal, and nicely decorated. The kitchen is well equipped and Paolo is very accommodating. He helps immediately in case of problems. Since the bedroom is on a street, the cars / trains can be heard at night.
