The family treated us very well, recommended places to dine and made us feel right at home. We would definitely come back. Of course, I take this opportunity to share that her daughter has written a book called La Muda by Ana Covadonga, which is already on the shopping list. Thank you for everything.

We had a great stay in the "Casa da Mata". Lost in the heart of the winery and on the edge of the forest, this house full of old-fashioned charm, well renovated and comfortable, is perfect. Every room has a beautiful view! But the best view is from the terrace where we had all our meals. We also loved our interaction with Fernanda, the best host you could hope for. And his kitchen is a delight! Fernanda feasted us with good garden products, fig tomatoes & eggs.. And very good bread, brought every morning!!! We can only thank her again for her kindness. We will keep in mind this beautiful week perched on the heights of the Douro for a long time. I forgot: the pool and common areas also added a nice plus value to this week.

We had a wonderful stay at this traditional home in the middle of nature. Waking up to the birdsong and river water will be an unforgettable memory. Thank you Laura for her pro-activity to make our stay go smoothly.

This is a lovely place to spend time with family, disconnect and recharge. our daughters loved the space outdoors and playground. Manuela was an excellent host. Recommended.

We felt very comfortable with Armando and Maria. Both of them were constantly looking after their guests' well-being. Thank you for that! The apartment has everything you need, from a broom to a salad spinner. A small supermarket is practically around the corner within walking distance. But it makes sence, to have a car. The apartment has a lovely garden with a pool. We had a few cool, rainy days and therefore didn't use either. Typical Armando: He apologized for the weather when we left.😊

I spent one night at the home of Filomena with three friends and it was amazing. It has a double bed and a large sofa bed (without separation, it is ideal for groups of friends or families), kitchen equipped with hob and all utensils, barbecue, and the best part of all - the pool! It is a great pool and it was exclusive to us, with lots of privacy, lawn with loungers, a treat. Filomena was very considerate and the husband Francisco who received us as well. It was a memorable experience and I recommend 100%.

María and her husband José are wonderful, very attentive hosts. Available at any time and very helpful. If fruits are ripe in the garden, the guest gets a portion of them. The view from the window into the garden and beyond to a part of the Ria de Viveiro is beautiful and soothing. And I can only imagine how nice the stay on the terrace must be in warm, sunny weather. During my stay, the weather was sometimes miserable, and I had to imagine the charms of the immediate surroundings in my imagination…María gave valuable tips for excursions, and there were many stimulating conversations with her and her husband José. Thank you very much for everything, María & José.

Monica is so super helpful with impeccable English for people with little or no Spanish or Galician. She is a wonderful host and Jossie the dog next door is cute and for someone who does not love dogs like me, he was fine to have as a neighbour. A great stay!

We loved the cottage! It is equipped with everything you need: sheets, blankets, soap, and a fully equipped kitchen with plates, glasses, coffee maker, oil... they even left us breakfast! It's a shame we could only stay one day, because the house is just as it appears in the photos: impressive. It also has a pool and a beautiful gazebo. And for barbecue lovers, there is a fully equipped grill area with refrigerator, utensils and everything you need. A real luxury! Thank you so much, Maria, for welcoming my friends and me so well. Where do you start? First of all, we received a great welcome from the owners. They are charming, present but not intrusive at all. They are very attentive, worried if everything is going well. Then, the property is excellent. Splendid views of the vineyard. It's super quiet. The pool is lovely with beautiful views too. Amazing breakfasts. The accommodation is as described, clean, not overlooked and also has views of the vineyard and river. In short, everything comes together for a great stay. We had a great time. It is a very quiet and very beautiful area. And the owners are all lovely.

The place was very very cute and functionally decorated. Everything worked flawlessly and clean. The contact was very kind. Particularly noteworthy was the comfortable bed. We have never slept as well on a vacation as in this one! :-)

Lise owns a wonderful place in the hills beyond Braga, with a swimmable reservoir (lake) nearby (walkable) and much to discover. The house is as described and we found a very thing workable and clean. Our dogs got on well with her’s and the gardens are huge so they could run around a lot. The swimming pool is great and cold to freshen up, a joint kitchen with adjacent BBQ was used more than once!! All in all, a wonderful find and a really good experience. You are in nature, mind. Phone coverage is sometimes sketchy, and insects may show themselves in garden or occasionally inside, but nothing at all out of what can be expected in such a natural place. Other guests were nice, too, so a bit of social around kitchen or pool (or BBQ) are a definite possibility. We will return happily if the region calls our name next.

The stay in Julia's apartment was everything we were looking for for a weekend to disconnect. Julia's service was excellent, as was that of her husband Jose. Recommended for anyone who wants to go to southern Galicia/northern Portugal.

The accommodation is quite good, it is comfortable, clean and tidy. The hosts were very attentive throughout our stay. We were very comfortable. I definitely recommend it!

They were two weeks of August very pleasant, of total disconnection from the city. The house was small but comfortable and cozy. The pool gave it a plus, to be able to cool off in the terrible heat of summer, and being surrounded by nature is ideal for recharging batteries. Thanks to Peter for all the attention. He's a very good host.
