The place was easy to find, it's in a quiet area and a 10 minute walk to the beach. It was clean and tidy, just like the photos. Ismael is a very good host, always attentive to what we needed, and all a detail about the breakfast and bottle of wine. Everything is great!!

Very cozy and beautiful, everything was impeccable, in a quiet area, the host left us a small welcome basket, a great touch, the bathroom is very well equipped, the jacuzzi works perfectly. Everything great, a perfect stay.

The site is beautiful and very peaceful. Loved it as much as my partner Aitor was super attentive and explained everything to detail so that the stay was the best possible. The enclosure also seemed beautiful to us and we would have loved to wander around a bit but the weather did not accompany. We look forward to repeating and being able to have a longer stay at this wonderful place

It's an amazing place😍 to fully enjoy nature, sleep with the sound of the river in the background and wake up with the beautiful view of the trees. It's spectacular, the cabins are beautiful, we enjoyed the jacuzzi and the pool, Manuela is a wonderful host, attentive, very kind and close, we felt right at home. I'll definitely repeat the experience.

Had wonderful days in a quiet area. Plenty of possibilities for excursions, including Santiago de Compostela, Finisterre, A Coruña. Beach nearby and definitely visit the lighthouse at sunset. In addition, Sergio is very friendly and helpful for tips.

Magic Getaway in the Northern Portugal Mountains This was our second time staying at this incredible log cabin, and it certainly won’t be our last. If you’re reading this review, let us assure you—this is the perfect place for your next mountain escape. The moment you arrive, you’re enveloped by the beauty of nature, the fresh mountain air, and the cozy, welcoming vibe of the cabin. The cabin itself is spotless, well-equipped, and designed to make you feel at home from the moment you step inside. The warm wooden interiors, crackling fireplace, and breathtaking views from every window are like something out of a dream. The outdoor spaces are equally enchanting—whether you’re sipping coffee on the porch, enjoying the serene surroundings, or stargazing at night, every moment feels special. Our hosts went above and beyond to make our stay perfect, just as they did the first time. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel truly cared for.

A beautiful, functional house, everything is very clean. Carlos was always available to ensure we had the best stay. The views are truly wonderful: the cathedral through one window, nature through another. High-quality hospitality establishments just a short walk away. Conchi and Javi were very kind and thoughtful. Javi provided us with very useful information to make our hiking trails a 10 out of 10. It's a beautiful area that we've enjoyed a lot. The cabin is in a quiet area and it was great, especially to enjoy with the little one in the house.

The little house was lovely. The garden, barbecue grill, glazed porch,..... the spectacular views and sunsets were to stay bumpy. We traveled with 3 cats and they were very comfortable in the house and garden, with good plot and fencing. The area is very nice, a lot of pilgrims on the path of the lighthouses. The Costa da muerte has been the most beautiful thing I know of Galicia. The weather accompanied a lot, except for a couple of days that was covered up by the fires in Portugal. Javier was attentive and recommended things to visit the area and restaurants to taste the local delicacies. The Mar de Fondo restaurant is an excellent recommendation. Fresh seafood from Laxe's own fish market. Without a doubt to visit again.

We had an excellent stay. The shelter is very very cozy, perfect for a peaceful couple's retreat. The hosts were helpful and we always had what we needed, namely firewood, which we spent a good amount of, as the weather was quite cold. Certainly recommended!

Lovely place. Wonderful pool. Responsive host. Would stay there again - really nice place. Close to many wineries and very enjoyable to relax in the pool and patio. A couple things to note - no soap or shampoo is provided so you have to buy your own. Also don’t leave any shoes or anything outside because neighborhood dogs came to the property each day (jumped over the rock wall) and on the first day they took my son’s hiking boots-we found one on the driveway and assumed the wind blew it but couldn’t find the other shoe. The second day we actually saw the dogs and then saw they had also taken his goggles which we left by the pool and destroyed those as well. So just a tip don’t leave anything outside overnight.

It was a fantastic stay. I was very surprised. The photos are good, but the place still surprises you in a very good way.

It was a very pleasant stay, it was nice to wake up to those views. Isabel is very friendly, always attentive and the cabañita was spotless super clean. It's very welcoming, I would definitely do it again.

Cayetano treated us very well at all times, everything was very clean, he even gave us a booklet with many activities and tourist sites in the area. We had an unforeseen issue with the jacuzzi and he showed professionalism by bringing us a technician as soon as possible. I would give Cayetano a 10 and the facilities a 9.5

We loved the space, the apartment was super equipped and with very generous areas. Easy and private parking. Very well maintained pool and because we didn't stay longer, only 1 night, we couldn't use it, but it was very inviting. We were also given suggestions that we followed and ended up having dinner at a very good traditional restaurant (Churrasqueira o Braseiro) at Catarina's suggestion. All 5 star. I recommended 200%

Our stay at Cabaña do Rei was quiet and enjoyable. The cabin is beautiful and has magnificent views. Although the weather has been unstable, taking shelter from the storm after a hike and having something warm to drink by the wood stove, watching the rain fall from its large window, has been comforting. Fernando was very friendly, both with his recommendations and instructions and with details for both us and our two dogs. You can see the love he puts into hosting, anticipating what you might need, as well as in the tribute he makes to the family history of this cabin.

We chose this place for a little escape by the end of our busy season and to celebrate a birthday. We wanted a hut, peace and nature. We got it here. The hut served our purposes for the short stay with all the amenities you need, including heating. The views were breathtaking and the location is out of this world. During the day (a week day) one could only hear birds and the nighttime is one of the most peaceful you can get. Of the sky is clear, it's perfect to watch shooting stars. Would be back at anytime for a longer term.

My experience at this home was exceptional. From before we even arrived, the staff attention was unbeatable: always helpful, attentive and willing to help in anything we needed. The cabin was equipped with everything one can imagine, from kitchen utensils to small details that made our stay so much more comfortable. In addition, they surprised us with a beautiful welcome detail that demonstrated the care and dedication with which they prepare everything for their guests. It's definitely a place I'd come back to and would recommend to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and top-notch service.
