The sub-bedroom is made of Japanese paper on the ceiling, floor, and walls, so you can sleep soundly with the feeling of being tucked away. The spacious LDK also has easy-to-use cooking appliances and beautiful dishes and utensils. After healing your fatigue with a hot spring bath, sauna and massage chair, enjoy a leisurely meal while watching the night view of the garden from the dining room and wooden deck. Video games and movies are also free, so you can have a good time after meals. Wifi and whiteboards are also available and recommended for remote work. Have a relaxing and adult time. Hakone Villa with Private Onsen, Ryokan Style

Authenic Japanese style mixed with modern comfort. The private onsen is the biggest feature of the house. Also it has a Japanese style garden where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery just sitting on the tatami. The house is 25 min bus ride from Hakone-Yumoto. From the nearest bus stop, Midorinomura-Iriguchi, it's about 2 min walk. It is also very close (3min bus ride) to Sounzan, the terminal of the Hakone rope way.

The house is very beautiful, an old Japanese building, well preserved, giving us a very local experience. The place is not in the city, there is no food and convenience stores around, but the bus stop is right next to it, it is still convenient to get around. You can also go to the nearby hot spring at night, but you have to pay attention to the bus schedule.Overall, it was a pleasant stay

I stayed one night with my parents. It was the first time I stayed in a place where I could see Mt. Fuji so beautifully, and I was impressed! We were blessed with good weather, and we had a BBQ on the deck while looking at Mt. Fuji in the evening, and we were able to see the beautiful Mt. Fuji in the morning. I was a little worried about the bugs, but there weren't as many as I thought, and it was comfortable! The temperature was cool, and the wind coming in through the window was pleasant. The surroundings were very quiet, and in the morning I woke up comfortably to the sound of a cuckoo. It was also very well equipped, and I had a comfortable stay. Next time, I'd like to go during the cold season and use the fireplace and look at the starry sky.

We had a brief but very relaxing and peaceful stay here. Jun and Kimi are lovely people and the whole place has their kind and warm energy within it. Jun has some fascinating historical facts to share on the area if you are interested, and Kimi makes stunning crystal jewellery. Highlights were their delicious food, the gentle ambient music playing, the beautiful view to the lake from the dining room, the private bath with pure spring water from nearby and the comfy pillows. Only downside was that the mattresses were a little on the thin side for us but I would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you both for a very memorable stay.

Tomo & Yoko are good hosts that respond quickly. The space we stayed in their house was 2nd floor, we had three rooms available to us, which is amazing compared to the tiny hotel rooms we ve been to in Tokyo. The view from the TV room is amazing for morning coffee. The location is great for exploring the Fuji area. I recommend for anyone wanting to experience Japan more peaceful and with lots of nature around.

Our group of seven had a great stay at this house. Check in was easy. Everything was very clean. Beds and tatami sleeping situations were both comfortable. Shower was great and so was the onsen. The view was gorgeous and we loved using the speakers. Definitely recommend you download the Go app to call a taxi if you do not have a car.

Very quick to response, transportation extremely good, took us convenience stores and restaurants to get dinner. Before check-in, they took our luggage from togendai station and we could continue our trip without needing to head back to the hotel. The view was extremely breathtaking, The onsen was also very relaxing, I also like the fact we could rent a private onsen. Very recommended for couples. The Host is very kind and responsive.
