Vacation rentals in Milo

Abbiamo alloggiato da Sebastiano a Milo per più di due settimane. La casa è stata appena totalmente rinnovata, è arredata con un gusto eccellente, raro a trovarsi in qualsiasi luogo. Ci sono tutti gli accessori possibili in una cucina elegantissima, due bagni ancor più eleganti. Mobili antichi o di modernariato insieme a scelte di arredamento contemporanee. Oltre alla casa lo host mette a disposizione aree comuni, e parliamo in sostanza di un piccolo parco, una vera sala prove, l’orto, diversi posti macchina. Sul fronte della casa si vede il mare fino alla Calabria, sul retro l’Etna. E molto altro ancora. I dintorni sono splendidi. In realtà fatico a dire altro e ogni descrizione pare fredda e ingiusta nei confronti di Sebastiano, Matteo e Ketty: l’accoglienza è stata calda, umana; un’esperienza che ci ha fatto ricordare quanto noi viviamo negli altri, e gli altri vivano in noi. Noi torneremo senz’altro. Invidio chi ancora non c’è stato, potrà andare e fare una bellissima scoperta.

Panorama Mazza fiato!! Se volete godervelo al maglio mettete la sveglia presto e potrete ammirare il sorgere del sole dietro la Calabria ammirando il mare della Sicilia. Il signor Michele molto cordiale e disponibile. Sulle pendici dell'Etna, a circa 40 min da Catania e Taormina.

The review function gives limited options for comments! The house is absolutely gorgeous and the location is stunning. Cristina and her family were amazingly helpful and responsive. The house was very clean and full of helpful things - kitchen clean, bathrooms clean, sun loungers with beach towels etc. We didn’t hire a car so got airport transfers and did struggle to find the house at first as it is down a long drive past house 36 - took a bit of detective work but we got there! The pool was brilliant - big enough for our family of 7 to have lots of fun and you can actually swim some lengths if you fancy. The hammocks and table under the trees were fantastic in the hottest point of the day. The bedrooms themselves are gorgeous with full length windows out onto the patio. We were able to get space from each other without being uncomfortable, lots of different living spaces and we even cooked out in the bbq which was lovely. There is a little supermarket at the top of the village.

We had a great time at the house. It's a very cozy old house with an amazing garden. It is not easy to find but Alessandro met us at the easy to find Villa Mirador (which is close by) and guided us to the house. The is a uniqueness to the house and garden that we haven't seen anywhere else and it made the stay into a truly wonderful experience. Both Simona and Alessandro were very quick to respond to any questions that we had and helpful with local recommendations for restaurants and sites. We did the guided tour of Etna with Alessandro and it was really good and well worth doing. We finished the Etna tour with the wine tasting which was a perfect way to end the day. If you bring a very large car it may be difficult to get to the house since the last part of the road is fairly narrow. We had a mid sized VW and had no problems getting there.

Zweckmäßige Unterkunft in sehr guter Lage um Etna, Taormina und Catania zu erkunden. Genervt haben uns nur die Hunde in der Nachbarschaft, die besonders die erste Nachthälfte laut durch gebellt haben. Wir haben selber einen Hund, sind also hundefreundlich, aber sowas verstehen wir dennoch nicht. Das scheint in der Gegend üblich zu sein, hat also nichts speziell mit der Unterkunft zu tun oder liegt in der Verantwortung des Vermieters.

I have stayed at many air bnb and VRBO rentals around the world over the years. Francesco's place in Milo, Sicily is among the very best. The views of the sea, mountains, volcano, rolling hill countryside dotted with vineyards and castles, and the town lights below at night, from this idyllic peak are nothing short of stunning. Add to that the amazingly comfortable climate and the sleek contemporary finishes that seamlessly and beautifully blend the new with the ancient structures, and you have a true gem that reflects so much of what is magical about this island and culture. In addition, the proprietor Francesco, an architect by trade, grew up here, and his love and passion for the place and for now sharing it, is evident everywhere. He and his son are the perfect hosts at this vineyard/countryside estate.

Couldn’t recommend Villa Santi enough! Beautiful house with amazing views! Absolutely spotless and all the amenities you could need! Carlos was brilliant at replying and had answers to questions we had. He also provided amazing reccomendatioms that really are worth the hype he gave them!

Our family had such a wonderful stay here on the slopes of Mt Etna. The property was charming with a beautiful view. We loved the smell of the blossoms and enjoyed the oranges and lemons in the orchard as well! It had all the amenities we needed including in the kitchen and the lovely touch of the limoncello for guests to enjoy. The beds were comfy with AC in the rooms and the bathrooms were very clean. It’s a great base to explore the surrounding area if you have a car and also great local restaurants nearby. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Sicily!
