Nyree and Jeff were the perfect hosts and their home in Proissans is just idyllic. We had 6 wonderful days there and wished we’d booked longer. The setting is so beautiful, the gite is lovely, cosy and well appointed, we loved the animals and the pool, and Nyree and Jeff were so kind and welcoming. There is lots to do in the surrounding areas and Nyree and Jeff made some great recommendations including canoeing along the dordogne and a visit to Chateau des Milandes. We would 100% recommend a stay and hope to return again next year.

We were greeted by Lucille , who spoke perfect English and Monsieur . We were shown all about the house, how to operate the jacuzzi and given excellent recommendations for the area. The booklet was invaluable particularly for village market days. The house is so attractively deco and so comfortable with everything you need to make your stay troubles free and relaxing. As we are from Australia we loved cooking outside on the BBQ. Being supplied with wraps for the jacuzzi was much appreciated as was the jacuzzi after climbing lots of steps visiting the castles. Our hosts all came to farewell us which was a lovely friendly touch. We thank you all for your lovely home and generous spirit of welcome. This is an excellent Perigord base and we strongly recommend it.

Me and my boyfriend and our two dogs had a great stay at the cottage, its really private and peaceful, nice to go for walks with the dogs, there are some farm animals to look at, fenced garden so the dogs can go out whenever, the pool and bbq was perfect when it was sunny and the jacuzzi was the best, it works perfect even when its rainy and windy because its inside. We had everything we needed, even a raclette machine which is always a big plus. Everything was clean, friendly host who was always quick to answer, really recommend this place 🤩☀️

i think I've never rented such a clean place and what a pleasure! The house matches the description and even better than the photos. The kitchen equipment is top notch. We felt right at home and it's not easy! Quiet house but shops are 5 minutes away by car. We found the hot tub nice to spend the new year. Thanks to Pauline for his availability and hospitality. Relaxing and refreshing family stay. Do it again in summer for this time to take advantage of the swimming pool.

A rural delight in the heart of the French countryside. Excellent shady gardens and nearby tracks for dog walking. The hamlet is small but various villages close by have restaurants and shops with good quality local produce. The house itself is a converted winery with many of the wine tank features still in place. It’s full of character! The hosts were charming and neighbourly, and welcomed us with a bottle of the excellent local wine. Frederick speaks good English and is an excellent guide to the local eateries. This was a really comfortable and enjoyable stay for ourselves and our dog.

We had a perfect family weekend. The accommodation provided everything we needed. New construction and everything is spotless. The views from the dining room are dreamy!! Thanks to Carles and family for making it easy.

A lovely private old cottage on beautiful grounds with a swimming pool. The cottage is fenced in, so the dog can run free in the garden. It has everything you need and is nice and cool on hot summer days. Patrick was so welcoming. We loved our stay here.

This has been our favourite place to stay on our 7 wk tour of France , we just wish we had booked longer . The hosts are so friendly & Doriane speaks perfect English, she recommended fabulous places to visit , Eyrignac Jardins & Chateau Salignac being two of our favourites . Doriane’s garden is stunning ( our little dog loved it as well ) and the pool superb, the Gite is so comfortable & clean with everything you need ( including a beautiful view), Doriane’s preserves are also delicious , we will most definitely be returning. We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. It was our first acquaintance with the Aveyron; what a beautiful region. There is plenty to see and do, we will definitely come back.

Very welcoming, sympathetic house. It seemed as if the residents had gone away for a while for a message and would come back. Everything is present and works. Very nice television room (Roland Garros). Absolutely quiet location, you only hear nature and beautiful views over the hills.

We had a wonderful week at Coucou Cottage. The cottage is very well equipped and is beautifully styled and furnished throughout. Thédirac is a peaceful village, surrounded by gorgeous countryside. We enjoyed our morning trip to the boulangerie and there was so much to do in the area, we need to come back so we can do more! Rachel is a wonderful host, who made us feel extremely welcome and at home, we throughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

The airbnb matched the photos and description perfectly! It was warm, comfortable and decorated with taste. The guide to nearby activities and restaurants helped make our stay even more enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and their hosts!

We had a very nice stay in Catherine and Jean-Pierre's cottage, little spoiled by time unfortunately which did not allow us to enjoy the beautiful exterior (terrace, garden, vegetable garden and pool), but a warm and well decorated cottage. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you will need, the living room has a fireplace very easy to use to find yourself by the fire in case of rain, the bedrooms are spacious and the 2 bathrooms make the preparation fluid in the morning! Getting together as a family (from Brittany, Rotterdam, Paris and Barcelona) in this beautiful green region, Catherine was good advice on all the activities of the region (equestrian center, castles, villages, chasms, hikes... ) and the visit of its beautiful vegetable garden - note however that it is necessary to rely on the car for all outings , the sites being at least 25 km away! We hope to return someday with milder weather to keep exploring!

The house in Robert and Daniela's garden is great. Many different seats and a lovely swimming pool to use. The host guarantees your privacy and is very friendly. We felt right at home. The area is very quiet and the view breathtaking.

Michèle's cottage is absolutely beautiful. Very comfortable and clean and filled with natural light. A wonderful place to stay to explore the Dordogne. Michèle and François are perfect hosts.

We had a wonderful week at La Tuilerie Grange. David and Caroline provided a warm welcome. The photos on the site are already beautiful, but if you see the estate with the gardens, the terraces and the swimming pool in one word it is fantastic. Well worth experiencing it for yourself. Stunning property in beautiful isolation, with woodland, wild garden areas and babbling stream - but close to pretty small villages and Carcassonne only 1/2 hour away with large supermarkets for a “big” shop. Very easy to settle in to a very relaxing holiday. Our host has a family house renovated sympathetically full of character and personal effects. 3 good sized bedrooms, though only one toilet on the bedroom floor. Huge living room with fantastic views - ditto the kitchen, which is well stocked. We met Guillaume whilst mowing his vast area of grass - absolutely charming and he was very helpful and responsive throughout. Some toys, cot and a stair gate for our toddler grandson! We absolutely loved it - a joy and a privilege to experience this unique property. PS NOT for people with mobility problems. We absolutely loved it!

Kristin’s home in Roquebrun is perfect for anyone looking for a peaceful stay with plenty of restaurants and activities in walking distance. The home itself is beautifully decorated, the kitchen is well equipped and the terrace garden gets plenty of sunlight. Kristin was very helpful and the directions very clear. Would definitely visit again!
