Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Middlesbrough

We had a lovely 7-night stay at this cottage. Alison was a great host - quick communication and the cottage was perfect for us. The kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were very comfy. A bonus was the wide range of toys, games and books to keep the kids entertained! The cottage was perfectly located for lots of local trips - only 5 mins to Saltburn-by-the-sea, 15 mins to Staithes, 15 mins to Guisborough (lovely forest with a trail for the kids and big play park, and an old priory that was great to run around), and 20 mins to Danby Lodge which had loads of stuff for the kids to do. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely gorgeous house in a beautiful location. Everything was spotless. Angela was a brilliant host, and left lots of extra finishing touches to make our stay 10/10. We will definitely stay here again, and would recommend in a heartbeat.

Brilliant cottage in a great location. Lovely wooded walk into town was an option or you can stick to main road/pavement. Durham has lots of things to do and see, there are also lots of good bars and restaurants. The cottage was a great base. Nicely decorated and has everything you need as well as lots of charm. Wendy was a very helpful host and provided lots of information for the stay and was also very quick to answer any questions. We hope to return soon!

Angie's place was great for us not one for cooking, theirs a nice pub 5 minute walk down the road with good food, plenty around that area. it was nice clean will try and use it again if in the area, thanks again for letting us stay.

Everything was as described. Clean, cosy and tidy. Plenty to do close by without needing to use the car.

Beautiful cosy cottage in a lovely location. Felt like a home from home. Perfect for our stay and such good value. Joanne was a perfect house - making sure we knew exactly what to do to check in and told us to message if we needed anything at all.

We had a great stay in the cottage. It was cosy, clean and a great kitchen with everything we needed. Ollie was a fantastic host! Staying here is an experience, there is a lovely family history. The garden is amazing and the green house is magical. We will return to Yarm in August just so we can stay at Ollie’s place again.

A ground floor flat in a quiet cul de sac (with parking) , about 5 minutes walk from Norton's Georgian High street with restaurants, cafes, shops/ supermarkets and pubs close at hand ...plus a duck pond . Clean property , fairly newly refurbished to a good standard with all the expected amenities and two double bedrooms . Well served by public transport locally & regionally too .Not far from the A19 main link road North/South through Teesside's towns so access is an easy 15 minutes to the coast or the hills and moors .Ancient cities such as Durham & York are only an hour away too. And a good price too.

My partner and I had the loveliest stay at Fiona’s charming apartment. We were in town for a wedding at Middleton Lodge and the location couldn’t have been more perfect, just a short, scenic walk home after the celebrations. The apartment was the epitome of an English countryside retreat. My partner even said it felt like being in the movie The Holiday! We woke up to peaceful views of sheep grazing just outside the window. It was such a beautiful and calming start to each day. The space was cosy, spotless, and exactly as described. Warm, welcoming, and full of character. We’d highly recommend staying here, especially if you’re attending an event nearby. Thank you Fiona for such a wonderful experience!

Gorgeous, stylish and comfortable flat in a great location for exploring the city. Everything has been thought about: the interior design, the kitchen equipment, the parking permits and the coffee pods, and everything was comfortable and stress free. Spotlessly clean, impeccable comms and a really friendly welcome. There is some road noise, so if you're not normally a city dweller, you could be disturbed. Wasn't a problem for us - highly recommend.

We came down to saltburn for a wedding and we throughly enjoyed our stay. The location of the air bnb was great, it is in good walking distance of both the beach and the centre. We came in by train and was around a 5 min walk to the location. We did already have plans for food etc however a guest book was provided which had lots of locations for food and activities within the area, which would of been very helpful if we was not down for the wedding. The place was sparkling clean with lots of amenities even a welcome package of tea,coffee and muffins. It really is a home from a home.

Our fifth visit to the Nook, Chris & Karen are superb hosts. The Nook is an ideal location for us when travelling to the area, the accommodation is perfect, very clean and tidy with a very modern feel Would recommend the Nook and its hosts very highly and the location is stunning.

Anne’s place had everything you needed for a short stay , was easy to find with handy parking behind the property . Breakfast was supplied which was a real bonus and milk and tea/ coffee and the beds were comfy . We went into Durham which was only 3-4 miles away and had the best Italian I’ve ever had so all in all a great stay . Thanks Anne . Sarah

It was a beautiful well thought out space. It was a pleasure staying there and seeing the cliffs above us. We loved the place. The artwork was brilliant, the sofa was really cosy and comfortable and we enjoyed staying there. Thank you
