Under 2 hours from London and an hour from Cambridge, we are 3.5 miles from the historic town of Eye, which has grocery stores, butcher's and a fantastic deli. Rural, yet under a mile away from two of the best food pubs in Mid-Suffolk, you will be staying in the heart of the East Anglian countryside surrounded by fields, woodland and wildlife.

The Old Stables. Detached and full of character

On the Suffolk Essex border surrounded by fields, trees, and plenty of wildlife lies our old late 18th century stable building. Just 5 minutes off the A12 and you are in a different world. We live in the thatched Farm Cottage, the oldest part dating back to the 15th century and the stable is situated at the end of the drive. Excellent location for cycling (on the National Cycle Route 1), or visiting Jimmys Farm just 4.9 miles up the road. Walking is a must or just relax and unwind!

Set in the centre of idyllic Quack & Shack, the Water Shack offers handcrafted quirky living, stunning views & privacy. The Shack is a short walk from the car park along wood chip paths. Inside there is a well appointed kitchen, bathroom with shower & guests will long long remember climbing the ladder to the restful mezzanine bedroom. Boutique cabin in countryside setting in the beautiful peaceful village of Little Baddow, a picturesque village in Essex. 10 minutes by car from the city of Chelmsford and 15 minutes from coastal town of Maldon. The village itself has 2 pubs and lots of walking routes nearby. Paper Mill Lock is a pleasant 30 min walk and has water sport facilities and tea room. Footpath maps available. Travel cot or single fold out guest bed avail on request, no additional cost.

One of 3 luxury lodges nestled within the Cherry Orchard. The lodge sleeps 4 people with lovely views, its own private hot-tub, large decking area, outside seating & sun loungers. The lodge is well equipped with everything you need, including coffee machine, smart TV ,large fridge freezer with water & ice dispenser, barbeque , pizza oven and outdoor fire pit .About a 20 min walk into Hadleigh, which has a selection of pubs and restaurants.

The primrose Hut is a fully insulated and heated all year round Shepherds Hut located along a one track country lane on the edge of Gislingham village with lovely far reaching country side views from its own terrace and garden. Great area for walking and cycling and lots of local places of interest to visit. There are three good pubs that serve food within a ten minute drive from the Primrose Hut
