We have recently completely renovated our Lodge in the grounds of our 8 Acre Hazel wood. You are free to wander around and hopefully you will spot some wildlife, you are in the heart of the country side with many lovely walks in the area. You will have your own private garden at the front of the lodge where you can enjoy BBQ (provided) a local public house which is serving take away food. The Lodge is cleaned to an extremley high standard and you have total privacy.

This has to be one of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed in! My friend and I are both Airbnb hosts and we adored Miranda’s place for so many reasons. The space is light and comfortable and airy with wonderful outdoor areas to sit or walk in. The barn next door to us was full of games and activities and the whole place is beautiful in the summer sunshine with meadows and hedgerows full of poppies on our daily walks to and from Snape Maltings for the Britten and Pears festival!

Zoe’s place is absolutely stunning! Beautifully furnished, immaculately clean and the garden is a slice of paradise where we enjoyed having breakfast and an evening glass of wine. The location is brilliant and a 10 min walk to the local beach and a very short drive to Clacton and the outlet shopping centre. The house has been very well looked after and the quality of bedding and toiletries provided were outstanding! We had a wonderful break and would most definitely book to come back! Thank you Zoe for a brilliant stay!

Extremely pleased to have stayed here. Clean and tidy inside. Initial impressions from front are uninspiring and property looks small however once inside its beautifully equipped and is very spacious. Bedrooms are large enough and beds super comfortable. Rear courtyard garden is a nice suntrap with a few plants and nice bench with cushions provided. Parking around back in dedicated parking space. Hardly any noise from neighbours and lovely location for walking into Aldeburgh along river path. Tesco and Co-op just down road so no problem with getting food.

Phil is the perfect host - from meeting and greeting us on arrival, the amazing home-made scones and bottle of wine, to local restaurant recommendations, and her friendly, and responsive manner. From beginning to end we had a great time. We had immediate responses to anything we requested. Melvyn and Linda were wonderful hosts! The breakfast items provided were much appreciated. The books, games and great TV were a bonus. We were invited to sit in the back garden which is extensive and we got to meet the resident barn owl, a lovely female. We would highly recommend this converted barn to anyone looking for a rural location which is well situated to explore the beautiful Norfolk countryside. Thanks you so much Melvyn and Linda!
