We (Marcel, 46, Melanie, 45, Levi, 10 & Ayumi 🐶<1) rent our apartment (without kitchen!) in the basement of our house in Mettmann / Metzkausen with separate entrance via the hallway. The spacious bedroom is located on the terrace to the garden very quiet and idyllic. It is especially suitable for trade fair guests (Düsseldorf 20 km, Essen 30 km and Cologne about 40 km) or someone who, for example, visits family nearby. At Gut Scheidt we rent a magnificent studio house with great views of the horse pastures and orchards. You will stay in a bright, quiet studio with sleeping loft, open kitchen and bathroom, in the middle of an idyllic horse farm. Gut Scheidt is located in the green triangle of Düsseldorf / Ratingen / Mettmann. It's less than 10 minutes to the A3. The distance to Düsseldorf city center is approx. 25 minutes. The fair and the airport can be reached in 20 minutes. The district town of Mettmann is only 10 minutes away…

Modern apartment between Düsseldorf and Cologne

You would live in the small village called “Meigen”. It is very close to the city centre of Solingen. The drive to the city centre is about 5 min. with the car and 10 with the bus. You can park your car almost in front of the apartment. The train station „SG-Mitte“ is also very close. By foot you will need around 20 minutes, with the car only 5 minutes. If you want to ride to Düsseldorf or Cologne you can easily take the train (30-40 min.) or your car (same time), perfect for fairgoers.

This 1-room apartment in the center of Mettmann offers a modern living/dining/sleeping area with fitted kitchen, a hallway incl. a wardrobe and a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower. Through the common staircase you enter the apartment on the 2nd floor through a lockable entrance door. Other amenities include two single beds (90 x 200 cm), a dining table for 2 people, a small kitchenette, a TV, an armchair with a small table, guest Wi-Fi and a wardrobe.

Shipping Container In Horse Farm

Our mobile tiny house, based on a shipping container, was designed to offer top accommodation services while surrounded by nature and animals while being located just some minutes away from the city. Our place is located in the middle of the Neanderthal trail. A recollection of 240 kms of hiking and biking trails leaving from our house or by short driving distance.
