Lovely place to stay. Small but space used well. Not to far from Ashburton. Shame beach was not accessible but we knew that before booking. Great area outside for the dog. Only real downside was the weather. It did not play ball much at all. Overall we had a great relaxing time.

Stayed at Al & Caz's place with some friends to celebrate a birthday. The house was very homely, well kept and gave us everything we needed. The shops/cafes/bars are all a short walk away, and the hot pools are just around the corner. Would recommend this as a place to stay for relaxing, as a base to explore the local area or as a great place to come back to after a day of skiing.

Great place to stay whilst visiting mt hutt! The house is everything is states and super cosy. Robyn was very helpful, would definitely stay again :)

Lots of room in the huge back yard well away from the main area of town so we felt the motorbikes on the back of one trailer were going to be secure. We loved the fire- easy to use. Comfortable bed. Good communication with owners made this stay easy.

Methven 3 Bed house MtHutt&Opuke

We had a great little getaway with just the two of us and our dog and the place was awesome. Super spacious and clean, with everything we needed to feel right at home. Even though we didn’t have the kids with us this time, we could see how perfect it would be for families - there’s a bathroom and separate toilet upstairs, plus another toilet and separate shower downstairs, which would make things really easy with kids. It was also great for our dog - the yard is fully fenced which gave us peace of mind, and there were heaps of nice spots nearby to take him for walks. Only small downside was the upstairs mattress wasn’t super comfy, but honestly, everything else made up for it. Would definitely stay again!

This house was amazing- our only regret was we didn’t stay longer. The spa, the showers, the heated towel racks and underfloor heating were all bespoke features that made staying here soooooo great.
