Vacation rentals with a pool in Metairie

We stayed at Pool Haven last week while moving our daughter into Tulane, and it was a fantastic home base for a very busy trip. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to Magazine Street, which made it easy to grab coffee, shop, or find great food in between all the moving errands. The house itself was clean, spacious, and had a relaxed, welcoming vibe. The pool was such a nice bonus—perfect for cooling off and relaxation together. Edward and David were incredibly gracious hosts—responsive, thoughtful, and so easy to communicate with. And Marlene, their sweet dog, was truly an angel! She added a special, comforting presence that made us feel right at home. We’d absolutely recommend Pool Haven to other Tulane families or anyone visiting New Orleans. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.

My family travels to New Orleans quite frequently, and this is one of the top AirBNBs at which we have stayed. It was spacious and appeared just like the pictures on the website. It is in a great area of town, in walking distance to shopping and restaurants. It is also very close to two grocery stores. The pool was a nice addition and perfect for our 6 yo son. Michael and Marcia were communicative and we were appreciative that they let us check in early on our day of arrival. Would highly recommend a stay here.

My family stayed here for a weekend-long celebration of my birthday, and it was perfect for 10 adults - large well-provisioned kitchen, ample bathrooms, and large comfortable bedrooms. It's worth noting though that 3 of the bedrooms are attached railroad style, which was fine for us. The pool area was also beautiful and chill to relax after a few long days of being out and about. Highly recommend a stay here!

If you are ok with something close to everything, but not in the middle of anything, then rent this place. It is lovely, Deborah was lovely. It was comfortable, it was easy, it was great place to spend the weekend. To be clear we were not there to party and did not want to be in middle of the French quarter. So if you are, then maybe this is not the right place for you. But we were never more than 10-15 minutes from anywhere we wanted to go, and for us it was perfect.

The house was just what our family needed for our trip to NOLA. The location is perfect. It took us about 15 minutes to get to wherever we wanted to go. There are plenty of restaurants and markets close by and within walking distance. The neighborhood was friendly and felt very safe. The house was just as described and was a nice place to come back to after a long day exploring. The hosts supplied so many things that are often forgotten by travelers. The pool was a welcome respite after a long hot day. The house provides plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. NOLA definitely has its own vibe and this house allowed us to feel like the locals during our stay. Thanks for sharing.

Alleshias place was beautiful and very clean. Close to everything and very walkable. Pool was an added bonus. My children loved it

The place was perfect for our needs, hosting out-of-town guests for the weekend. We put two families in the main house together. A few of the bedrooms connect or are pass-throughs, so this worked well for people who are familiar with each other. Even still, almost everyone had their own well-appointed bathroom and very comfortable beds. There are another two stand alone rooms with ensuite bathrooms by the pool as well that have lots of privacy. It's a fun and funky sprawling house, and we were able to pay an event fee to have a few additional guests over for a pool party, which was really perfect and a unique opportunity, as this is not possible at many properties. Daniel and Lauren were very accommodating, helpful and communicative.

Great place to stay! The host’s stay in the other side of the duplex, so they’re on hand to take care of anything. The pool is amazing after walking around the French Quarter all afternoon!

This place is AMAZING. I’ve never stayed in a more beautiful Airbnb. The kitchen is awesome, the bed is so comfortable, and there is a wonderful view on the balcony. The space is very contemporary and feels luxurious which is exactly what I love! Lilly was our host and she was amazing! She’s very thorough with explaining where everything is and how everything works. My husband and I walked just about everywhere because it’s walking distance. Great location. I highly recommend staying here!

The space was great, exactly as promised. Location is absolutely perfect to experience the French Quarter. Walking distance to street car and bus lines for easy transportation to other places in the city. The space was very clean and had every amenity we could have wanted. One bedroom is street side and can be a bit loud at times but the other room is secluded in the interior and was plenty quiet to rest up. It is a heavy nightlife area so asking for total silence is not realistic, but for the location it was much quieter than we were expecting. Overall a great stay as long as you understand your location and the reality of the area being very busy and pretty loud. Would 100% recommend this stay to anyone looking to experience bourbon street and the surrounding area.

Great Airbnb, really close to all the main attractions/walking distance, super spacious (honestly, we feel like the pictures didn’t do it justice. It’s actually much bigger when you get there), and really convenient overall. Only issue was considering it’s in a very populated and busy area, it does get really loud so you can hear everything, pleasure something to consider, but still would absolutely recommend this Airbnb and would definitely stay in it again. Also, it’s conveniently located next to a baggage storage place so while we waited to check in, we were able to put our bags right next-door.

Great stay overall - the place is super close to the center attractions and quite walkable. The host was very responsive and immediately reacted to anything we needed. We were offered early check in for an additional fee which was lovely - and we took advantage of it- Overall awesome!

10/10 Highly Recommend ! This was my boyfriend’s and I second time staying here. Everything is as pictured and the hosts are very responsive. I’m already thinking about coming back the end of June. Thanks for everything and providing a home away from home.

Great location & comfortable space. Beds were very comfortable too! Having access to a parking space in the garage is a huge value add. The neighborhood is central to walking downtown or towards the Garden District. Lots of restaurants, bars & shops close by. We loved it & hope to return.

I attended an international meeting at the convention center. I had a great 1.1 mile walk which was interesting (and safe) no matter what route I took. Perfect 25 min exercise each way. The apartment was exactly what I hoped for.

All great but we were not aware that the pool and outdoor amenities are shared with a few other airbnb's. That was not ideal but we adapted. If it was clearly stated, then its our mistake for not reading it correctly. If it was not written, it would be good to do so. Again, great place non the less. Thank you

I'll start by saying ... WE CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK! The house was exquisite ... everywhere you turned you saw some cool new find - a beautiful old quilt, a framed antique beaded purse and a skeleton key hanging from every cabinet with a cool, different tassel. The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of big fluffy towels in the bathroom and really comfy ( and beautiful) beds. The screen porch, pool and hot tub were used often during our 5 night stay. They had lots of beach towels and we brought our own blow up pool chairs to lounge around in. Tyler and Josh were VERY responsive to our few questions. Very conveniently located 1/2 block from a grocery store and Starbucks. Walked the neighborhood and had lunch at the Ruby Slipper and beignets from Loretta's. Again ... we can't wait to come back. The house was AMAZING.

Kells rental is the best air bnb we have ever stayed at. The house was well stocked with high quality amenities and toiletries. It was beautifully updated and in great condition. This was an awesome place to stay in new orleans and gave us the experience we were looking for- a home away from home. We would gladly come back any time. Thank you!

I 100% recommend staying at Joshua's place to anyone looking for a beautiful, historic, and super clean home to stay on their trip to NOLA. I stayed here for my bachelorette with 11 other girls and we all fit comfortably and had tons of room. Everything in this historic home is immaculate and high end. Having the built in Sonos speakers in literally every room of both houses (yes even the bathroom!) was awesome! My favorite part was the pool/spa. It was perfect to cool down in after a day out and have some drinks. Although the pool is small, it has plenty of room for everyone to fit and one side even has a bench going down it so a lot of people can sit. We also enjoyed being so so close to Frenchman street and enjoyed the ease of access of being able to walk pretty much everywhere. Staying here was worth every penny and if I come to NOLA again with a large group, I would 1000% stay here again.

What a magical place to stay! Perfect walking to French quarter ! Local Restaurants; space for all! Truly helped make the experience of visiting NOLA!
