The cottage is a Grade II listed barn conversion offering a welcoming base for your stay. Heating is provided by a biomass boiler, so very eco friendly. There is also a wood burning stove to keep you cosy. We are in a quiet village called East Cottingwith: a fantastic base for visiting York and touring Yorkshire. Ideal for cyclists, bird watchers, walkers and anyone who wishes to enjoy a rural location close to the attractions of the city of York. There is no regular public transport.

This beautiful limestone built cottage has an open plan kitchen and lounge with glazed door that opens on to a patio with table, chairs and a BBQ. Beyond is Langton halls back lawn which leads to 20 acres of parkland for you to explore at your leisure. Located within our grounds is an idyllic waterfall- perfect for picnics. Please note this property is located on a NO SMOKING premises

The Garden Suite

NO SMOKERS. The HOT TUB is exclusively yours! Not suitable for children. Please make your that both guests are happy with the house rules before booking. A lovely Suite overlooking the courtyard and garden to which you have free access. Pocklington is 2 miles, with plenty of pubs, bars and restaurants. The local pub is ten minutes walk. York is a 30 minute drive. We are perfectly placed for walking, cycling or driving holidays. York 12 miles.
