Vacation rentals with breakfast in Melides

Primaire benodigdheden aanwezig, wat heel fijn was. Mooi, schoon huis en heerlijke zwembad. Fijne communicatie met de host, snelle reactie. Wij hebben zeer zeker een fijne vakantie gehad in het huis.

Wir waren begeistert!! Es noch viel schöner, als es auf den Fotos sichtbar war. Ein wunderschönes großes Grundstück, wo wir ganz privat für uns sein konnten. Auch der Pool mit Meeresblick war sauber und superschön! Wir wurden sehr freundlich aufgenommen und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Auch das Haus war perfekt für uns. Von der Terrasse konnte man auf Avocado-, Feigen-, Oliven-, und Zitronenbäume blicken, mit dem Meer im Hintergrund. Wirklich wunderschön! Die Lage ist super (20-30 min zu Fuß in die Stadt oder runter zum Meer). Vielen vielen Dank für diese Zeit! Wir haben es sehr genossen!

Foi formidavel minha estádia, trata de uma proposta diferenciada, onde o valor da hospitalidade, cordialidade com a galera do local é sensacional. Existe uma integração entre os hóspedes que procuram se ajudar e fazer com que sua permanência seja maravilhosa. Agradeço todo carinho recebido do pessoal.

Très bon séjour et accueil de la part de Margarida et Domingos ! L’endroit est magnifique avec vue sur l’océan, une piscine entourée d’un joli jardin. Un petit déjeuner préparé tous les matins et la possibilité d’aller à pied à l’océan sont vraiment plaisants. Nous recommandons ce havre de paix 🌺🌊🌞

A Mags e o Andy foram muito gentis. Receberam-nos com muito cuidado, deixando-nos uma garrafa de vinho e tudo para um pequeno-almoço fantástico. A casa é ótima, aconchegante e perfeita para descansar.

Casa do Forno at Quinta Velha is simply wonderful. It is beautiful and private, with fantastic views. Every morning for breakfast, we sat outside and looked up at the Moorish castle. The place was spotlessly, clean and beautifully furnished. It was a wonderful getaway from the crowds at Sintra. The bed was very comfortable and our host furnished everything we needed. Ines is a truly great host. She not only helped us with dinner reservations, but also told us all about the fascinating history of her property. It is one of the nicest Airbnbs that we have stayed at. I would definitely return if I come to Portugal again!

The space was absolutely perfect for me and my 7 friends. The layout worked so well-each room was separate from the main living area, which gave everyone the privacy they needed, but we could still come together easily for meals and hangouts. I honestly can't express how lovely the place was, and Paula’s breakfast each morning was a real highlight-so thoughtful and delicious. Bruno went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We arrived to a spotless home with welcome treats that instantly made us feel at ease. Truly a 5-star experience! Definitely planning another visit 😀

L environnement est très beau, le calme, 360 degrés sur la campagne un dépaysement total avec le chant des oiseaux, on a été très très bien accueilli, Joao et Anabel sont très gentils et de bons conseils pour les visites et les restaurants. Allez y vous ne serez pas déçu

We had a wonderful stay at Muidini's place - she was very responsive and helpful from the moment we booked, answering all all of our questions promptly and proactively providing recommendations. The apartment was beautifully furnished and spotless! We had a truly memorable and enjoyable experience!

Grace was responsive and able to meet me when I could arrive at late notice. Any issues were dealt with extremely quick. Location is beautiful, close to Oeiras Parque and Poetas park. The beach is also super close and it was easy to travel to Cascais and Belém too. The apartment is everything that you need to have a comfortable stay, squeaky clean bathroom and kitchen, comfortable bed and sofas. It’s on the ground floor so nice and cool but also very secure, the windows let in a lot of light but also some nice views of the flowers. The shutters made the nights but especially the mornings comfortable and easy to sleep in. There is a small supermarket less than 1 minute walk away to stock up in the kitchen where you can cook but also there are larger supermarkets close by to drive to if you need to. I had a car and I felt like it made the most of the surrounding towns as they are all so beautiful, but you need to be a bit patient with parking there. I loved my stay and will be back soon.

Such a lovely place to explore Sintra and its beautiful attractions from. Armie’s breakfast every morning was the perfect way to start the day. I’m pretty sure my kids loved the breakfast more than the castles. There is a trail from the property that leads down to Quinta Regaleira and then Sintra and, if you keep walking, to Santa Maria Church where you will find the trail up to the Moorish Castle (about a 2.5 mile walk each way from the Airbnb) and Pena. We logged a lot of miles every day but the trails themselves were part of the appeal. We couldn’t find a walkable fully stocked market, but found great bakery goods and delicious olives. I can imagine the pool would be amazing in the warmer months. The place is a little tricky to navigate to, but once you’re there, it’s very peaceful. And, of course, Armie was a very sweet host :)

We just loved staying in Helenas flat. It’s situated in a quiet street in a peaceful but interesting area, far from the tourist crowds but with only a 25 minute walk to them. Great communications with buses and trams round the corner and trains to Cascais 15 minutes away. The flat is small but perfect for two people. The kitchen is fully equipped and Helena is kind enough to provide the basics for breakfast. I would certainly choose to stay here again. Thank you Helena!

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Vasco’s place in Sintra. We thought the property was incredibly comfortable and clean, whilst being private and spacious. It’s in a great location with parking right out front, and we’d look to stay here again when we’re in the area. Vasco was a great host too, who was incredibly accomodating!

We really enjoyed our stay. The place is really nice and chic and has everything you need. The mattress is especially comfortable. The host is very helpful and kind, always responding so quickly. We would definitely stay again and also recommend to friends.

Mon séjour dans ce loft fût superbe. Lieu très reposant avec de belles prestations, tout était propre, bien rangé. L'endroit idéal pour se reposer ou travailler au calme. Luana est très réactive et toujours arrangeante. Je reviendrai chez elle lors de ma prochaine visite à Lisbonne. Merci beaucoup

Clean and spacious apartment in a great location

A wonderful stay and experience! Sandrine is a fantastic host and she and Olivier couldn't have been kinder. The lodging is beautiful, natural, and pure. The shower was great, the bed was comfortable, and the space very private. The breakfasts were top of the line, too. Most highly recommended!

5 stars aren't enough! amazing place, pristinely clean, amazing friendly staff. the room is very clean and has a great bed and comfortable mattress. spacious bathroom. they have a small kitchen where you can use a small fridge, microwave, kettle, etc. if you have the chance, include breakfast as it is very good. totally worth.

Worthwhile change from the standard AirBnb. It has more space and is more akin to a very upmarket bed and breakfast. Shared bathroom with one other room, not a problem and highlight was the provision of washing service for a small fee. Nice to share breakfast in a large breakfast room with other travellers. Recommended for those wanting a different AirBnb experience.

If I could give this place over five stars I would!! Justus and Allison were such welcoming hosts that I felt comfortable and at home right on day one!! Justus gave so many great advice and instructions on how to get places, and interesting things to see which I hadn’t thought of :) Not to mention all the delicious breakfast for two weeks, I felt spoiled everyday. He helped me get my uber for my way to the airport, which I’m very grateful for. They really went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable, and I felt that way. I’d go back again just because they were so fun to talk to and such lovely people! I had no worries as a female solo traveler, even the area felt comfortable to walk around at late hours. Just be prepared for a few stairs every night, but they weren’t that difficult. I’d recommend this place to everyone, being right by the metro you can explore all of Lisbon easily :)

Un lugar maravilloso si buscas desconexión y naturaleza. Todo muy bonito y cuidado con mucho amor y detalle. Los anfitriones han estado pendiente todo el rato para que nuestra estancia fuera lo más agradable posible. Hemos viajado con niños y ha sido genial verlos saltar en la piscina, jugar con los perritos y recorrer todo ese espacio natural. El desayuno delicioso y la pizza party todo un éxito. El lugar es totalmente recomendable. La única “pega” es que es un camino complicado para llegar y está algo alejado de pueblos y playas cercanas (unos 30 min hasta Vilanova). Pero con las instrucciones que nos dieron llegamos bien. Sin duda repetiremos si surge la oportunidad!!

We stayed just one night, but it left a mark on our hearts. Michel kindly let us check in early without hesitation, and that kindness carried through our stay. We arrived in the afternoon and got back late after dinner, struggling with the gate. Michel, knowing we weren’t in yet, was awake and came out to help us without a hint of frustration. I had mentioned it was my birthday, and the next morning, his sweet wife surprised me with a homemade cake. They served a fresh vegetarian breakfast with organic jams, crisp croissants, and the best orange juice I’ve ever had. Their home is peaceful, with a serene garden, stylish boho room, pool, and secure parking. Before we left late that morning, I invited them to join us while I cut the cake, they sang in Portuguese, and I felt so loved. They host not for money, but for joy. We left feeling so full and already plan to return, next time, we want to take Mr. & Mrs. Michel with us for a one-day outing. 100/10.

My husband and I absolutely loved this stay, and hope to be back soon. The room was clean, beautifully decorated with big windows and a gorgeous view. The staff were friendly and approachable, and very accommodating of our extra requests. Every detail of this place was thoughtfully made right down to the continental breakfast. I have already suggested friends to stay here. It truly is a wonderful space. Thank you for hosting us xox

This is a 4 stars hotel experience for the price of a 2.5 stars hotel stay. The room is very spacious and the floor is cut in an way that has all the bathrooms, kitchen, balconies etc feel like they're yours. The kitchen and dining area is much larger than what I expected and there's a balcony everywhere you turn lastly Hannah who works here is an amazing person as well as Manuel with whom both I had lovely conversations. Just great experience and I'll be definitely coming back if I'm in Lisbon next time.
