Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Mekong River

I cannot speak highly enough of the villa. Photos often give falsely positive impression - if anything this was the opposite. The pool and gardens are amazing - felt like our own private resort! Gardens kept in immaculate state by daily tidy. We were met by Bovin, her mother (who is a pure delight too) and brother Sam who became our reliable tuk-tuk driver in to town and around temples. They could not have been more helpful and quickly responded to any queries. Be aware the side road down to the house (about 5 min walk) is unsealed so tuk-tuk drive is a bit of a bumpy experience - not a problem at all for us. Take photos of landmarks where the turn from main road is - helps directing other drivers as phone maps weren't super accurate. Area is quiet and as Siem Reap is fairly busy and chaotic, this home really is an oasis. We opted to cook at home several evenings as dinner and drinks by the pool was magic. Would go back in a flash - It's just a fab place. Thank you Bovin.

Very good service, owner even offered to do laundry for us while we were out sightseeing and shopping!! The place itself is very unique and beautifully decorated. Able to accommodate my family's needs during our stay. Really thankful to the owner for being very hospitable to us 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Would definitely recommend others to come to this airbnb :-)

If I could give 6 stars, I would! Thai Homestay was the absolute highlight of our trip to Vietnam.Staying here was so much more than just finding a place to sleep — it was about connecting deeply with the Thai minority culture in a way we never expected. The homestay itself is exactly like the pictures — beautiful, peaceful, and full of charm. But what really made the experience unforgettable was the people. Tam prepared amazing meals every day — full of local flavors, fresh ingredients, and love. Even though the family speaks little English, communication was never a barrier. We’ll never forget the grandmother weaving traditional scarves in the evening, her calm rhythm matching the serenity of the village. Or being offered fresh jackfruit and grilled bananas as we sat on the porch. Mr. Tunc took us hiking through the most breathtaking scenery — green rice fields, banana plants, bamboo water mills.. Yen helped us arrange a private driver from Hanoi to Pu Luong and back! Thanks a lot!

We had such a lovely stay with Ed and Tum. The house is beautiful with a wonderful garden and amazing kitchen. We paid for Tum to also cook us dinner and we are so glad we did. She is an incredible cook and it made the whole experience feel even more cosy. We were there with our 10 month old baby and he had the time of his life. The perfect weekend staycation from Bangkok!

A fantastic stopover in a nice traditional back street in the old town. The accommodation was exactly as described: a perfect hideaway from the chaotic bustling city. Alice looked after my booking and all subsequent communication and she was superb. Always replying in minutes, and forthcoming with some superb local food outlets. Everyone made me feel incredibly welcome and I hope to return someday!

Great place and staff. I had a great stay. The location is in a really nice area but is a little far from public transit and shops.

It is a great place to stay in Siem Reap. Walking distance to many places, restaurants, cafes… Not too busy road. Very nice host. Apartments were good as well. Wifi worked without issues 🫶 thanks a lot 🙏

I can’t explain in words how amazing it was staying at Pimboon lovely place. I highly recommend staying here. Great location and amazing building.

Clean and comfy room, all amenities work well, tucked away in a tiny lane but quite close to the main road, the building is in the middle of a street market (not noisy) lots of good restaurants nearby and some excellent coffee also! Nutcha was clear in all her communication, easy to reach for any queries and this helped us have a great experience.

This place is extraordinary. The modern minimalistic built up plus the green surrounding the whole APT really gave us an awe experience. The foods and beverages were healthy and nice at the cafe. There are artistic activities that you can join. This is a very special place that I would like to stay again.

The place was exactly as shown in the photos – modern, clean and tastefully decorated. The location was excellent, everything was easily accessible. Particularly noteworthy is the communication with Tatiya: very good, fast and warm. Overall a completely successful stay – highly recommended!

Chhay was an outstanding host! The accommodations were exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a short-term stay. Chhay went above and beyond, even helping to return an item I accidentally left behind. If I’m ever back in Siem Reap, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Alisa was amazing from the start and took care of all my needs, including the organisation of my transportation to the property, which made it much easier to check into the building! My stay was comfortable and Alisa made some amazing restaurant and activity recommendations for me since i dont know Bangkok very well. My stay at Attaporn’s apartment was wonderful from start to finish. The space was comfortable, clean, and well-appointed—perfect for a relaxing end to my Thailand trip. The location was convenient for exploring the city, yet the apartment itself felt peaceful. Attaporn was an exceptional host, warm and welcoming, with clear communication and helpful tips. I especially appreciated the early check-in flexibility after my long travel. The check-in and check-out processes were seamless, and I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you, Attaporn, for making my final days in Bangkok so pleasant—I highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting!

Superb location. Close to most of the place we wanted to visit and we were able to return to the apartment during the day to drop off stuff and rest during the hot summer days. Loan is also a proactive communicator. He gave very clear instructions and was super responsive. Lastly, the apartment itself is just so elegant, making me not want to leave. It’s a dream house to me. Highly recommend to everyone visiting Hanoi!

Everything worked out just fine. Very good description to get from the train, stop, AOK, to the apartment. The apartment could use a little searching and reworking, but all in all it's perfectly fine. The kitchen could be a little more organized. The pool is really good, especially after a busy day in the city. WiFi works and the washing machine does its job. The host can be reached quickly and fixes minor defects immediately. I highly recommend this place, it is quiet, well located and large enough for two people, I'd be happy to come back anytime.

The room was excellent! Views were really hard to beat, room is remodeled really well. One thing I would like to note was the location of the room is not in the best part of town and stepping outside really wasnt the best experience in my personal experience, street vendors smells and traffic were a bit much. There are also plenty of signs in the lobby mentioning that airbnbs are not legal in that building to try and avoid any subleasing. If that is something that would bother you then try another place. We pushed through and had a really great time.

the location was amazing everything is close to you, the house wa clean and well equipped and ratchnee's was very helpful, we really enjoy the stay
