Ski stations, hiking possibilities (flumserberg or braunwald) are around 1 hour away by car. Pets not allowed.

Herrliberg ist eine ruhige Wohngemeinde, welche sich an der Sonnenseite des Zürichsee befindet. Mit dem Zug hat man bis in die Stadt nur rund 17 Minuten. Micheal is truly amazing—the best host I’ve had during my entire Airbnb journey. 10/10, highly recommend! He even picked me up from the train station despite a delay. There was construction on the tracks leading to his home. I would’ve been completely lost without his guidance through the temporary reroute. Micheal went above and beyond—he gave me a list of things to do, restaurants to try, and even took me grocery shopping. His home is clean and relaxing. From the moment you walk in, you can see the effort, care, and love he puts into being a great host. He’s created a space that feels safe, comfortable, and peaceful—like staying at a boutique hotel. His dedication is commendable, and I hope other hosts take note. Micheal wants to open a bed & breakfast someday, and he truly deserves it. I’ll gladly invest when he’s ready! Thank you so much for the amazing stay. I will definitely be back!

Very great and clean apartment with a great view of Lake Zurich. It is easily accessible by bus, about a 5-minute walk from the station. I was able to communicate very well with Trudy and thus had a great stay.

Donald is the best host I have ever stayed with. After 2 months we became good friends. He is friendly, helpful and cheerful but tactful, non-intrusive and quiet. He will always explain everything and come to an understanding. His wonderful son is unobtrusive, polite and falls asleep early (like a rock!). The room has basic furnishings, you can use the rest of the shared flat on a nice cohabitation basis. Washer and dryer free of charge (!!). The kitchen is well equipped. Lovely garden for relaxation. Lift, nice view from the window, birds singing. The flat is sat near Zurich (25 min by bus from the centre, it's not a big city 😉 ), in a quiet little village. Close to wonderful walks in the forest. Shops within 1 bus stop away. If you match the conditions in the ad, you won't find a better offer. And it's really worth getting to know this man - lots of stories, tons of positive energy, pure kindness. Thank you, Donald!

It's a really good deal. It is clean and everything you could need is there. It was a fun experience meeting Mäggie and the people from the other rooms :) The house has a beautiful garden and a nice spot at the lake is less than 10min away.

Eva’s place was a beautiful stay. The family was very kind and accommodating, and the nearby stables had some beautiful horses. Very peaceful area with lots of farmland and a nice view of the lake. The hosts were kind and responsive and made the stay so easy and comfortable.
