Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Mecklenburgische Seenplatte

It was perfect! Nothing that wasn't there, huge secluded property, various seating options, table tennis table, barbecue, pizza oven, go-kart, swing, a super equipped kitchen, plenty of space in the house, darts, billiards, board games, etc. We (two families with a total of 5 children) felt comfortable from the first minute. We'd love to come back :-)

We had only checked in for one night to celebrate a birthday. Slightly different than expected from the photo of the house, the house is located in the village and on the left and right are more houses. Behind the house is the old farm, with chickens , rabbit goats and a pretty aviary. In the summer you can also stay in the garden and eat outside at tables with benches. For an outdoor coffee, the weather was just as good. We were welcomed so warmly that we immediately felt at home. Petra is a very nice hostess. Arrival and departure were handled very accommodating, even the day before us was blocked to allow an earlier arrival. There was even a delicious birthday cake from Petra. There were also tips for things to do. The Heiligengrabe monastery is very worthwhile. Wittstock is also worth a visit. However, we could not explore much more in the short time. It was a very nice short stay.

We were 9 people and had two nights in Alexandra's beautiful house. Everything we needed was available. We were particularly pleased with the modern equipped kitchen, the possibility to visit the sauna. In the evening, we sat by the open campfire and talked. Was nice and romantic. Alexandra as a host was great: she responded quickly to our questions, gave advice on what to see and experience in the region, what shopping opportunities there are in the area. We were very pleased with the stay at Alexandra's house and would recommend it.

We spent a great few days in this beautiful house. The children loved to count the numerous snails, discover the dike with the handcart or make bread on a stick in the garden. In the morning, we saw a deer with two fawns up close and were able to observe numerous birds. And Mechthild and her husband were also very nice hosts with whom you could have a chat in the garden from time to time.

Had a great stay! The accommodation was exactly as described – clean, stylish and very well equipped. The location was perfect, everything important was easily accessible. The host was super friendly, helpful, and quick to communicate. I felt very comfortable and would come back anytime. Absolutely recommended!

We had a very nice time in Brandenburg. There are many lakes and other opportunities for activities in the area. We found these mainly thanks to Sabine's hints. The house is very cute and cozy. But especially the garden is beautiful. Sabine was very helpful and it was very pleasant to communicate with her.

We really had a fantastic long weekend in this beautiful house! The possibilities on site surprised us positively, the small sauna in the house is the "icing on the cake"!

We had a very good stay. The apartment is as described and thanks to the nice phone call, no questions remained unanswered. We thought the offer with the bike was very good! So you can quickly reach the beach. The smallest could play in the garden and everything else you need for a stay was there. The flexible check-in was perfect for us. The apartment was clean and well decorated. The location was very quiet and close very close to the lake. We felt very comfortable and check in and out went completely smoothly.

I was with my partner off-season (mid-March) in Conny's apartment. The apartment is fantastically beautiful and communication with Conny is very straightforward. We particularly loved the great amenities of the AirBnb and the geographical location is wonderful. The sauna in the bathroom completes the experience and the town of Rechlin invites you to relax. Since there was a small misunderstanding in the amenities, Conny accommodated us with a late check-out - we found that very convincing. Smaller shortcomings: - the apartment belongs to a holiday park, communication and check-in/out were handled by Conny, on site but via the park and on the way information was lost/incorrect/confusingly placed. - Off Season we had enough privacy - but if there had been more neighbors or the other houses in the area were booked, it would have been too tight. The bottom line is that we found it slightly overpriced. ✨Nevertheless: Off Season, we'd love to come back!

We liked the small apartment in the attic. It was very comfortable. Dirk is a great, dedicated host. The location on the lake district and the proximity to Neustrelitz are great. We will be happy to come back!

We enjoyed the days in the apartment very much. The attic, which was converted into a bedroom, was my favorite place, sun-drenched, spacious and very comfortable. There we slept in, drank tea, read, and let the day go by quietly. We were lovingly cared for and we didn't miss anything. The lake and the Peene are always worth a trip and there are plenty of good cafes and art to discover. And we enjoyed the exchange with the hosts Karin and Kurt and are grateful for it. We really enjoyed the week at Marzena's. The accommodation is very quietly located within walking distance of the lake, where you can also use the rowing boat, e.g. for fishing. We were also allowed to use the garden and bicycles, which we liked very much. Beautiful bike rides and hikes can be started from the property. Marzena always provided us with good tips on excursions and restaurants here and was always responsive. If we were to come back to the area again, we would not hesitate to come back.

We had a relaxing time in Evelyn's apartment. The apartment is very cozy and well equipped. We will be happy to come back.

The apartment was as advertised in the pictures, a large property and the direct lakeside location was excellent.

We two friends had a very nice short vacation on this idyllic multi-generational farm. Holger and the whole family are very warm and open, everything was super clean and there was nothing missing. We enjoyed the apartment, furnished with attention to detail, with the magnificent view from the terrace, feeding the exotic cattle and sheep, the eggs from the happy chickens and the tranquility. I am traveling by bike on the Baltic Sea and I slept one night in the accommodation. Upon arrival, everything was well explained, the apartment was clean and beautiful. I was able to park my bike in the shed overnight. That was great. The beautiful, wide Baltic Sea beach is about 8 minutes by bike. Birgit was very friendly and responded promptly when I wrote her a message. I highly recommend the place!

I don’t even know where to start. 100/5 stars. This was the best AirBnB I’ve ever stayed in. Erzsebet and Andreas are simply lovely. It really was like staying with my grandparents. There is a lovely garden and the location is super quiet, yet very convenient to the airport. I rode there in around 30 minutes. It takes about an hour on Public Transit to the city centre. The flat is spacious and comfortable. The kindness and generosity of the hosts is absolutely amazing. Maybe I looked skinny after 10 weeks of Bikepacking - food kept magically appearing. Plenty of grocery and restaurant options in the immediate area. No issues with me having a bicycle with me either.

The stay in Bad Doberan was very pleasant, a nice little apartment with light furniture. Everything was very neatly furnished and cozy, the apartment is located in a quiet corner of Bad Doberan, everything is very relaxed to reach by car. In any case, a clear recommendation.

Amazing place, so welcoming, great wibes. Full of details, spotless, friendly hosts, we felt pampered and had a wonderful stay. Beautiful surroundings. Definitely one of the best Airbnb experiences.

We had a very nice time in the very tastefully and cozily furnished apartment. Beds and kitchen equipment are very good. We were able to safely store our e-bikes in the bike shed. Right across the street is a very good restaurant, where we were warmly served every evening and ate very well. The very beautiful garden invites you to linger. In our view, the location is very suitable for exploring Westrügen with Ummanz, Hiddensee and Wittow by bike. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back. Thank you!

A well-located accommodation to do something in the Mecklenburg Lake District.

There were only two small problems. When it rains, the water from rain comes into the room because the French doors were probably not installed so well. Furthermore, when showering, a lot of water has formed in the shower.

Maike's apartment is as shown in the listing and pictures, we felt immediately comfortable. The location is great for trips in different directions along the Baltic Sea and the amenities offer everything for a short stay. Communication was smooth and even when we were briefly locked out, Reinhard was right there.
