Vacation rentals with a pool in Mazzaforno

Wow! Where to begin with this place. It was such a wonderful stay in a beautifully quaint location, close enough to essential amenities but far enough from hustle and bustle for a truly relaxing holiday away. Stefano was beyond the most helpful airbnb host we’ve experienced! Met us in town to take us to the place, offered fruit, veg and herbs from his home-grown garden and even helped us take our cases back to our car which we decided to park a little further away due to the very steep narrow hill to get to the location. Nothing that bothered us at all though, it was amazing and worth every penny!

We throughly enjoyed our stay. It’s the perfect getaway from the busy city life’s we lead. The villa is beautiful and there is the added bonus that Massimo (the owner) has a pizza restaurant in the town which we went to twice and were well looked after. Would certainly recommend staying

Roberto is a great host, he is very caring and supported us super with all questions. We always felt very comfortable. The house is in a fantastic location, on every level with great views of the sea. The highlight is the private access to the sea. The pool offers everything you need for a great vacation. Parking is available on the property. We had a VW bus, a motorcycle and a small rental car with us. (and mountain bikes) The proximity to the airport was very convenient for us because we were there with the whole family and our children arrived at different times. A private car is necessary to be mobile. For us, it was perfect because we needed about 50 minutes to the climbing paradise San Vito del Capo and could also go to Palermo. The distance to the most beautiful places in West Sicily can be reached in <1 hour. The residential area is very quiet and well maintained and we always felt safe. Thanks to Roberto

Lovely rustic villa. Quite remote in the Madonie mountains and rewarded by fantastic views and sunsets. Very tranquil area. Good pool and beautiful pergola to sit and read and completely relax. Eleanora was very helpful and easily contactable for any query. We had wonderful weather and an extremely enjoyable holiday.

We had a great time staying at the large spacious villa. A real nice view from the terrace on the pool and sea and garden! Very friendly and helpful host Guiseppe. I can really recommend this beautiful villa!

We have very much enjoyed a week in Ute’s lovely house. Well equipped, very private and quiet, we felt at home instantly! Nice (vegetable) garden, beautiful views to mountains and from roof terrace also to sea. Pool is lovely. Like I said to Ute: a real paradise. We hope to return in future! What a beautiful month we just had at Casa dei 20 Frutti. We dreaded leaving and miss it already. We loved every single thing about our stay. The place, incredible. What a view. So comfortable, a great home away from home. The location, perfectly central. We went on a different adventure every single day. There are just so many places to see and just about all are easily doable as day trips. Our hosts, exceptional. Sophie and Alberto are just the nicest people, so generous with their time, with all the beautiful fruits on their property, and they gave us so many great tips on places to visit. An absolute wealth of information. We will absolutely be back. We just can’t say enough great things about this incredible place.

100/10 the house was so beautiful and looked just like the photos. The pool was clean and amazing with rafts and a diving board. Air conditioning inside the house, beautiful garden and lots of outside space to sit and enjoy. Emanuele was super responsive and helpful every time we needed anything. His father and mother met us at the house for check in and were super lovely!! They set up a surprise of snacks and treats and made us feel like family. They also gave us some local recommendations and had waters and coffee at the house. Everything you need is right at the house and the grocery store is 5 minute drive away.

We had a great week. Cozy apartment with wonderful terrace facing the sea and nice communal pool. Had very good contact with the host Nicola gave a lot of tips and is responsive. Apartment is secluded. There are no cars, just some livestock that makes the place harmonious. Cefalu is at a 30 min walk distance or 10 min by car. We parked in the large parking lot by the sea. Affordable and always location once we were there. Morning swim and then a good cup of coffee is recommended when Cefalu is waking up. Highly recommended!

Daniela made us very welcome and the communication leading up to our stay was great. The accommodation had all amenities including some we didn’t expect like the dishwasher. The second toilet was also a bonus. Very comfortable and plenty of space within the apartment. The air conditioning kept us cool at night. There’s a local bakery for breakfast only a minutes walk plus there’s a great restaurant only 20m away, which doesn’t look anything from the outside but opens up to a very pretty dining area surrounded by trees and flowers at the back. The raised deck area could be closed off if the it was raining. Mondello beach is 15 minutes walk away and plenty of public space as well as private if that’s what you prefer. As well as all the restaurants in Mondello there’s a couple, including great Gelato, on the way there. We found using the pool was a bit awkward at times because other family members also used it. If you’re staying in the Palermo area Daniela’s apt is well worth it.

Relaxing stay at saverios place , very beautiful sandy beach , place is quiet and nicely decorated. Saverio is a really great host and has recommended many things to do and restaurants to try. We would’ve loved to stay longer!!

We stayed at Lampeduso for 3 nights and it definitely wasn’t long enough. It’s such a great Airbnb in a perfect location. Palermo is such an interesting city, with its mix of cultures and all its gritty charm. The palace was perfect. It rained for two of the days we were there, but because the villa was so fantastic, the weather didn’t affect us at all. The place is huge, with great amenities that made a big difference—washer and dryer for our soaked clothes, umbrellas ready to go, and plenty of space to enjoy a good card game. When the sun did come out, we spent early evenings on the patio next to the pool. Honestly, the villa alone makes us want to return to Palermo.

We had an amazing experience during our stay at Vincenzo's villa. He and his family were incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming. From the moment we arrived, Vincenzo made us feel right at home, which made a big difference, especially since we were visiting Sicily for the first time. It didn’t feel like just another Airbnb - it felt like we were visiting somebody we knew already. One of the things we appreciated most was how much effort Vincenzo put into making our stay enjoyable. He gave us a ton of recommendations on where to eat, shop, and explore around the little towns of Carini and Capaci. He was always happy to answer our questions and offer suggestions, in spite of his regular work. It’s rare to find a place where both the accommodation and the people leave such a lasting impression. This was definitely one of those special stays. Highly recommendable!

don’t even know where to start! just a perfect place in Mondello, pristine clean, freshly renovated, fresh pastries every morning, incredible sea view, infinite swimming pool, steam room, super comfortable bed, welcome drinks, free parking and obviously the most hospitable and loving hosts ever!!! Angelo’s wife even did my laundry on the request, just truly splendid in every detail felt like home and definitely will come back thank you beautiful Barbarella and Angelo for this time

Our stay at this air bnb was amazing. A very private feeling and extremely spacious garden. The pool is gorgeous and very warm!! The walk into Cefalù was around 40 minutes for us. We hired a boat for the day from the port which is a ten minute walk to get to. There is a small family run bakery a 1 minute walk away open until 2pm. Kalura beach is a 5 minute walk away with beautiful blue sea views from the top as you walk down the stairs. Taxis into the centre of Cefalu were always €15 euros and easy to arrange. Kitchen amenities allowed us to cook if we didn’t fancy going out. If you are planning on staying here I would reccomend bringing mosquito repellants and creams as there are a lot in the area. Lots of lizards as well so make sure to keep your doors shut to avoid them getting in!! We also visited Palermo for the day, a €7, 50 minute train journey from Cefalu train station. Overall, amazing location and the air bnb is in perfect condition, exactly as described and looks in photos!

We had a wonderful stay in Collesano, just a short drive from Cefalù. The outdoor space was absolutely stunning—surrounded by olive trees and beautiful flowers, it was the perfect place to relax. The pool and outdoor area were especially lovely and well-maintained. We were warmly welcomed by Nino, the gardener, who was incredibly kind and made us feel at home right away. All in all, a great stay—highly recommended!

I’ve stayed in many Airbnbs around the world, but this was by far the most unforgettable. The views were nothing short of breathtaking, with a spectacular terrace that offered a panoramic sweep of the coastline. The historic setting had a quiet sense of grandeur, while the home was equipped with top-tier amenities and a beautiful pool that made it feel like a true retreat. The location was ideal, but what made the experience truly exceptional was our host, Francesco, who was warm, gracious, and effortlessly attentive. I genuinely wish I could turn back time and relive it all. Every moment felt rare and precious.

We had an amazing 5 day stay at Margaretas place. House offers very peacefull vacation with pool, jacuzzi and even sauna and great charcoal grill. House is very nicely furnished and has several ac units. Only one bedroom doesn’t have ac, so it gets hot with the doors closed. Many shops and restaurants in the village near the house. 10 minute drive to the beach! I would definately come back!

We had a really nice time in Alessandra and Alices apartement, with the supernice cat Pimpa. It was big and spacey for seven adult persons. Nice terrace and pool. Big kitchen for cooking. About 30 minutes drive to Palermo. About 10 minutes to Ficarazzi, who has supermarkets, two pizzerias and nice beaches.
