We were fortunate to visit with Travis and he told us that his cabin was built in 1933 and has been used for many things over the years such as a coffee house and an office. It is listed on the Historic Tour for Talkeetna. Now it is a cute Airbnb with a modern kitchen, washer and dryer and a bathroom with tub and shower. It is within walking distance of restaurants and stores. We enjoyed sitting on the porch. If we return to Talkeetna, we hope to stay here again.

This is a great cabin if you are looking to be in the woods and near a river! The river is right outside the front doors and in a secluded location! Very clean and comfortable! You won’t regret booking here!

Gia and Craig were incredible. They ensured we got their safely to the cabin, and personally helped us understand how to heat the cabin etc. They deserve ten stars. Would stay there again!

Like i mentioned in the guest book! This Airbnb is the best one I’ve stayed in when it comes to the views. I wish i would have stayed longer but we’re active travelers so the few hours we had it was well worth it. Highly recommend this cabin!!! It will not disappoint and i guarantee that!

This was a great stay on our way out of Alaska via the Glenn Allen Hwy! Cozy and clean cabin!! We enjoyed our wood stove warmth and especially all the books in this great little library! Outhouse was clean and probably a 1 minute walk from your front door. We enjoyed the wooded privacy and convenience of our stay. Alyssa was extremely helpful and quick to respond to our questions, and she was super accommodating when we had a change of plans! I would definitely recommend this authentic Alaskan cabin stay.

Awesome stay! Cabin was perfect. Right on a beautiful mirror lake with mountain views complete will all the necessities including virtually unlimited firewood! Short drive to Denali National Park as well, would certainly recommend to anyone looking to escape reality and relax.

Adorable little yurt for our adventure. It was immaculately clean and she thought of everything when it comes to have supplies and info available for her guests. Would recommend to others 10/10!

Great host. We found the bed to be uncomfortable and he went out of his way to get a mattress topper for us. Great location for Denali visits. The yard outside was not landscaped and seemed rougher than we expected, but we didn’t have a need to be outside. Great hooks inside the door for all wet clothing. Loved the luggage stands. Bathroom and towels were nice. Clean. Loved seeing the momma moose and babies almost every evening by the road. We stayed 5 nights and it was perfect for us.

very nice quite and peaceful. I would stay again given the opportunity. the view was breathtaking the sunset and sunrise was amazing on the mountains and water. Would highly recommend.

Cozy cabin in a quiet neighborhood. It's an easy walk through the woods to 'downtown' Talkeetna. It was perfect for our overnight stay!

Walking distance to great restaurants and a stunning view is just a short walk from your stay.

Beautiful tiny house perfect for our honeymoon! It was in a sort of neighborhood but the privacy wall on the porch and the direction of the house you dont really see them unless you look out the bedroom window. It was quiet though and the view of the mountains was incrediable!

I wish I could afford to stay here more often and longer! We loved our weekend here. The children were able to play and enjoyed the playground. The beds were comfortable. The adults spent our time around the fire. It was a lovely and incredibly relaxing weekend. I'm literally saving up to come out again. I can't thank our hosts enough.

Only stayed for one night, and it was wonderful! Definitely on the smaller side, which was completely expected and exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was exactly as pictured, the bed was super comfortable, WiFi worked great, and Coty was super quick and helpful with responses.

This is a beautiful modern cottage! Immaculately clean. Bed was wonderful. We needed a night to re-charge and escape from the kids, this was perfect. Everything we needed was there. The photos don’t do this place justice. It’s laid out very smart, good use of the smaller space. I’d definitely come back. There was a bit of road noise as it’s just off the spur, but I bet in the summer that is muffled by the birch trees. Thank you again!

Very beautiful place to stay, about 20-30 minutes out from Anchorage. Joe and Leslie were very friendly and made us feel right at home. We didn’t have any issues during our stay, but they made sure to let us know if we did they would be ready to help.
