Nana's Cabin

Nana's Cabin is located on a private pond 4 miles from downtown. This charming log home was built by local builders for their mother. Guests can drive right to the front door. There is a full well equipped kitchen. Bathroom has tub w/shower, washer & dryer. One queen bed downstairs & a queen, a twin and 2 pull out beds upstairs. Note: The Denali National Park entrance is a 3 hour drive from Talkeetna! There is a 1/2 mile walking trail on the property and access to local bike and ski trails.

The cabin has a full custom kitchen, full bath, and a private view of the Matanuska Glacier from inside the cabin or from the deck. We offer a 750sf open concept apartment which is modern, airy, and extremely clean above our detached garage. It is secluded but close to the main Parks Highway. There are endless possibilities for hiking, climbing, and skiing from the house. Or, if you prefer to sit and relax and read a book, the view from the deck or living room couch of the Anchorage skyline and Denali/Mt. McKinley is spectacular.

The Johnson House Cottage

The cottage is a secluded guesthouse in a friendly neighborhood with spectacular views of the Knik Glacier and river. This retreat has room for up to four guests. It is an open floor plan with a double bed on the ground floor and twin beds in an upstairs loft. The kitchen has an induction cooktop, refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave. Propane BBQ on the deck and bathroom with a shower. Our cottage is not visible from the parking area so self check-in is not an option.
