The cottage is an ancient olive oil mill dates back to XVIII century completely restored and modernised situated in Nocchi, a cute village inhabited from many English people and set in the Tuscany hills nearby historic city as Camaiore (famous to be a via Francigena’s stop-over), Pietrasanta, in which live and work many artists known all over the world like Fernando Botero, Lucca (notorious for its intact walls) and Pisa (the ceiling tower town). Besides, Nocchi is close to seaside cities as Viareggio (famous for its carnival) and Forte dei Marmi. The cottage is very big (130 square meters) and is divided on two floors: on the ground floor there is a big living room open space composed by kitchen and relax zone, while on the first floor there are a small, but functioning bathroom with shower, a laundry room, and two large bedrooms, which one provides inside of another bathroom with shower. The property also has a private parking and two independent ingresses. Next to the cottage, and always part of the property, there is a wonderful common garden (3000 square metres) in which is placed a wonderful swimming pool provided of beach chairs and beach umbrellas where you can relax yourself.

My accommodation is located in Massarosa, 10 minutes drive from Viareggio 20 from Lucca and 30 from Pisa, nearby you can find beautiful panoramic views, the beaches of Versilia, Lake Massaciuccoli, Piazza dei miracoli in Pisa with the leaning tower , the fabulous Apuan Alps, the Pucciniano theater, Pietrasanta art city etc.I will like my accommodation for these reasons: tranquility. The villa is located on the hill of Montemagno, a small town near the city of Camaiore, the Versilia sea and historic cities such as Lucca, Pisa and Florence. It is a 19th-century farmhouse recently renovated respecting the historical features with wooden beams and terracotta floors. The villa is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards and has a swimming pool (12x6) with salt water, a quiet place to spend a peaceful vacation.

The windows in the bedroom leads to a magnificent view to Massaciuccoli lake: this view ispired Puccini to compose most of his great masterpieces.

The villa can be reached via a 750-meter unpaved municipal dirt road that branches off from the main road; 25 minutes from Pisa Airport and 5 minutes from the Massarosa A11 exit. The villa is our family's private retreat and comfortably accommodates 10 people.
