Cottage vacation rentals in Maryland

He was a great host and the neighborhood was perfect for us with little kids ! We had a wonderful weekend away!

The home had a beautiful view of the river we saw a bald eagle, blue heron and an osprey. We enjoyed the fire pit ( we did get yelled at by the neighbor next door for too much smoke do beware!). We did not have time for the hot tub but glad it was available.

The house is wonderful! We enjoyed being in the fenced backyard with our dogs, hanging out on the dock watching the boats go by, or just sitting in the house admiring the view through the huge picture windows. It was very clean and had all that we needed for a relaxing get away weekend. Natalie was very responsive and very helpful with great local suggestions. Emily's Produce is only a few minutes away and has everything we needed, including fully cooked meals. We can't wait to come back!

Emilio and Wanda’s home was absolutely lovely. They thought of everything to make our stay so enjoyable. Would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing stay. So very close to Solomon’s Island. Thank you Emilio and Wanda!

Had a mini friend vacation with 6 people total and we all immediately felt right at home. The layout of the home is extremely convenient-there’s a half bath next to the washer/dryer right near the door to the deck- it was perfect for fast bathroom breaks without getting the entire house wet! We spent most of our time in the pool area and game room, and both spaces had everything we needed! (Nadia, I hope you don’t mind we left a few pool new loungers behind!) We took advantage of pretty much everything aside from swimming in the lake (bugs were really bad, no one’s fault at all but be warned- you NEED to have bug spray.) The only critique I could give was the softness of the beds, they were all really firm and if you have any sort of sleeping and or back/pain problems, it could be evident the next morning. But overall it was an amazing time and the host was extremely courteous and genuinely caring! A lot of love goes into this spot and you can tell. We can’t wait to go back.

We had a wonderful stay at Chapel Cottage this past weekend. The space was immaculately clean, thoughtfully appointed, and beautifully decorated. Every detail felt intentional and welcoming. From kitchen essentials to cozy furnishings, it had every amenity we could possibly need. The location was also perfect, just a quick 10-minute drive to Ripken, which made coming and going incredibly easy. The owner was super communicative and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area.

Surrounded by trees and the sound of waves- perfect place to relax & unwind. Quick but steep hike to the secret beach. Cool spot and more shell than I expected. Kyli was a responsive host, answered all my questions. Also, recommended Island Hideaway for dinner and it was amazing. Homemade pasta and desserts made in house daily. Great views and delicious foods & drinks.

This was our family's second time staying here and we intend to do so again next year if she'll have us again! look I am very tempted to NOT write a review because this is a bit of a hidden gem, but the host was excellent and deserves the visibility, even if it means it's harder for us in the future! location is great for hitting up Wisp and far enough away it still feels like a private retreat. really great host who has welcomed us into her cabin twice now! Washer and dryer were clutch w this trip with rain the first day! but we were able to dry out our gear and hit the slops and second day without issue!!!

Beautiful historic home, right by the water. The location couldn’t have been better - steps from town, the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum and the Marina - but the little street was also nice and quiet. The bed was really comfy, the kitchen well-appointed and sitting out front on the screened-in porch was so relaxing. Wonderful hosts too - thanks you two! Hope to be back to the Little Anchor soon!

The cottage was in a perfect location for my sisters and I to stay for our "sisters weekend" escape. The setting is beautiful and so relaxing. There was plenty of room for us and everything was clean and tidy. We took advantage of the kayaks during the day and had a wonderful fire with s'mores in the evening looking out over the water. We will be back!

This is a very clean and comfortable place to stay. The reviews about the sulfur smell from the water are true and if you need to shower you better plan on a lot of time, water pressure in the shower is not great. Neither thing left us with a bad impression of this rental.

We had a great stay, it was exactly the relaxing family vacation we were looking for! Hyrum and Lisa were excellent hosts and made sure we had all the information we needed and everything was going well throughout the stay. Thank you Hyrum and Lisa!

Went out of their way to list places around town to visit and dine at. Adorable and very clean space that felt like home the moment you walked through the door. House was larger than expected, very clean with a well-stocked kitchen, and had numerous seating/gathering areas both inside and out. Host was very responsive from booking through checkout. I would certainly stay there again.

Stayed one night as a midway stop on a long trip. Was able to book the night before. Very cute, clean, well-stocked kitchen. Even had coffee and creamer for the morning, which was greatly appreciated!

We loved our stay at the cottage. Everything was clean and well maintained inside and out. We especially loved the gorgeous surroundings. The property was beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed daily swims in the pool and time at the dock. Robert was a wonderful host and made everything very clear and easy as well as was easy to communicate with. We couldn't have asked for a better get away. Chestertown is adorable and fun to check out. We hope to return in the future.

WOW! What an amazing air bnb and property! Dawn was a great host and very attentive to our needs and great to talk with. We had dogs with us and were able to use the trails around the property to run them. I cannot wait to come back!

As always, just an awesome getaway! The minute I pull up to the cottage and look out at the water, any stress just disappears. We had an amazing holiday weekend at Dave and Jenny’s cottage! They were always so quick to respond with any requests we had! The cottage as perfect and just like the pictures. They literally had thought of everything! The sunsets were absolutely stunning and it was truly the most relaxing time we’d had in a while! It was just what we needed !
