Mansion vacation rentals in Maryland

This BnB is in contention for my FAVORITE stay of all time. Family of 6 adults and 1 child had more than enough space, and Jeanne really made our stay effortless. We felt right at home and we didn't have to make that last minute trip to the store you sometimes have to make bc the host skimped on providing toilet paper or dish soap, because she honestly thought of EVERYTHING ❤️ My granddaughter loved the pool and dips in the hot tub after swimsmade the adults happy. The location and view are to die for, and the two pups were ecstatic playing in the large fenced area. We spent a lot of time outside, plenty of furniture, fire pit, just eating dinner on the deck. (Missing NOTHING in the kitchen either!) Our last night we spent sitting and talking on the deck trying to identify the multitude of frog voices from the pond, before we parted ways to our various home states. I am most grateful for memories made and we are definitely considering a repeat! ❤️Thank you!

We had a fabulous week at the mad men house. There were plenty of places to get some personal quiet time and the sleeping arrangements were perfect for our group. Stay here again if we return to deep Creek Lake.

Great host! Responded to any questions I had about anything. Place was so clean and well maintained. We truly enjoyed our visit!

Was a wonderful immersive experience. We enjoyed dining and playing board games in the great hall. The escape rooms were very well done. I was skeptical on how it would go without a game master, even had some nice surprise moments. Looking forward to staying again. Kids were upset we weren't staying all week.

Clare and Chris could not be nicer and easier to work with. My family/friends have been getting together since 1994 and have been to many great Airbnb's and VRBO's. My group could not stop telling me how great of a week we had. The primary features that were import to us which the house scored big are as follows: It has a dock (we arrived via boat), The kitchen is big, laid out for many "Cooks", The kitchen was open to the dining room table, The dining room table is open to the sitting areas, The pool was clean and inviting, The fire pit with seasoned firewood was a big hit for our group, All the beds were comfortable, The bedrooms were large and comfortable, The baths were clean, modern & large and The location to "What to do in Cambridge" is only 7-10 miles away. We made prearrangements: Richardson Maritime Museum to have a guided tour with David Williams on Friday and Spocott Windmill with George Radcliff. Both of these tours were fascinating. Our weekend was 5-Stars.

This home was the perfect place to celebrate my daughter’s graduation! We had family travel in from several states, and everyone felt comfortable and truly enjoyed the spacious layout. It was a bit too chilly to use the pool, but I’m already looking forward to booking this home again. I’ll definitely be a repeat renter!

Beautiful house! Clean, well maintained, and exactly as described. The host was easy to communicate with and very responsive throughout our stay. The space felt comfortable and welcoming, and everything we needed was thoughtfully provided. We had a great experience and would definitely love to come back!

Our family of 10 enjoyed a truly restorative Juneteenth holiday at this beautiful home on the Patuxent River. The property was beautifully designed, well-appointed, and offered ample space for both quiet reflection and shared moments. Serene mornings were spent sipping coffee in Adirondack chairs by the water and evenings were spent on the spacious patio, exchanging stories and listening to music—this was especially memorable. The kitchen is well-equipped and allowed us to prepare meals and dine together comfortably. Sleeping areas were restful, and a minor issue with the air conditioning was promptly and satisfactorily resolved. The host was gracious and responsive, and the neighbors warm and welcoming—one invited my husband to assist in his catching of a large rockfish, which was a great highlight! Daily walks through the neighborhood added to the charm. We departed with deep appreciation and would most certainly return here on our next trip to Solomon’s Island! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed being outdoors on the deck and walking the shoreline. The interior accommodations were very comfortable and met all our needs and expectations. The weather was perfect, too! Would definitely like to return again. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

We stayed in this house for our son's Naval Academy graduation/commissioning. It was absolutely perfect for our group. The drive across the bay bridge took anywhere from 35-45 minutes depending on the traffic. At no time was the traffic as bad as we've experienced it on the DC side of Annapolis. We crossed the bridge 1-2 times a day during our 7 day stay. As soon as you get to the island and head south there is no traffic and it's a beautiful, peaceful drive. The house is perfect for entertaining with two large rooms inside on the main floor. There is a large island in the kitchen room which makes for a great serving area. It rained during about half of our visit so we made good use of the space indoors. Our children used the fishing poles, kayak, soccer nets, ping pong and fooseball table. Negin was very responsive in answering our questions and even worked it out so we could check in early. We would definitely stay there again if we had the chance.

Beautiful house, just as pictured - very clean, plenty of towels, beds were comfortable, kitchen fully stocked with all cooking and cleaning necessities - lovely space and nice quiet neighborhood. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking in this area. Hosts were friendly and extremely responsive! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

Had the pleasure of staying at Ruben’s with my friends for a girls’ getaway, and wow—did we all love this place! It was spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed for a relaxing trip. The host was incredibly responsive and made everything so easy. We’re already planning to stay here again!

This property is charming, clean, spacious, and looks just like the pictures. It was perfect for my group while we attended a family reunion in the area. The pool is good sized and clean. Kitchen is well stocked. Beds are comfortable. The area is quiet and peaceful. The owners are extremely responsive and seemed to be very appreciative of our business. Can't ask for much more from an Airbnb.

Fabulous views of Chesapeake Bay, pool was great, deer everywhere, house was spacious with three living areas. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a great stay at Nicole's location. Peaceful and quiet location. Plenty to do. The home was exactly as pictured in the photos. Owner was responsive will any questions that we had. Was on a four day golf trip with friends. Everyone raved about the home and the accomodations. Great spaces for gathering and also areas when you needed some quiet time. I would highly recommend this home for a family or friends getaway. If I am back in the area this will be my first choice.

Loved staying at Lazy Bear Lodge. Beautiful home with privacy on big property. Hosts were super responsive and gave great local recommendations. Very accessible to hiking and white water rafting.

Where to start? Lol there are not enough great adjectives that I can give about Kim's beautiful farm-life property. It was secluded and serene; nicely tucked away in a wooded area. Her property is cozy and comfortable, with awesome amenities like the pool, pool house, jacuzzi and a wonderful nostalgia-filled theater in the basement. I didn't want to leave, bust sadly........I had to lol. Thank you Kim for providing such an amazing weekend getaway!

We cannot say enough good things about this home. It had everything we could have wished for! Our family of 11 enjoyed every moment and wished we didn’t have to leave. The house was immaculate. The host (Caleb) was so quick to respond to our messages and even popped by to help us figure out the surround sound one evening. We cooked and ate every meal at the house and had all kinds of things to do just minutes from the house (disc golf, golf, pickle ball, a zoo, shopping). We even decided to forego our plans to go to the beach because why would we go when they have their amazing private pool. We were entertained from morning to night with all the games and surround sound movie room. There was NOTHING we didn’t love about this home. Thank you, Glen and Caleb! I would give you 10 stars if I could!

Jennifer’s place was the perfect home away from home. About 15-20 mins away from the boardwalk but still in a great part of Ocean City. I would definitely stay again.

My stay at this Airbnb was absolutely wonderful! The space was beautifully decorated, clean, and had all the amenities I could have needed.
