Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Martigues

Hakim's place was well equipped and a nice place to stay! Very close to Port Vieux and the main shopping walk. The bathroom was pristine condition and well ventilated which is difficult to find in many European bathrooms. It was amazing to have A/C and a W/D in the hot weather. I was staying alone this time, and got a little nervous after finding the main door to the building left open multiple times. There is a restaurant next door which has a kitchen entrance in the first set of locked doors so that could be understandable, though both sets of doors were open allowing entrance to anyone. Directly across from Monoprix for easy access and close to bus and metro lines! Overall, a great stay.

We felt right at home here, we parked our car and took the bus 35 mins in to Aix which was super easy and a lot less stress than parking in the city. The washer in the unit was so handy after 3 weeks of travel. The neighbourhood is a little remote if you want to spend a lot of time in the city, but it suited us fine as we wanted to do day trips with our car. We just bought home our croissants for breakfast the next day and rewarded them in the oven! Host was so lovely and welcoming and was readily available from their place behind the apartment.

Long and pleasant stay in a simple and basic apartment, very quiet, very bright. Super well located, 5 minutes from the metro, and the Dome, very easy access with the plus: possibility to park your car in the closed residence. Very good communication with Delphine, always attentive, who accepted us with our two cats!

We are delighted with our stay at Le Brusc at Alexandra and Pierre's place. Excellent welcome, availability, advice, Alexandra provided us with a lot of information and it helped us have a great stay 😊 Private parking space, swimming pool, easy access to the seaside and port, we were able to enjoy all these amenities. Great stay at Sébastien's. The apartment is very comfortable, and the view is stunning, even more beautiful than in the photos. The location is ideal if you want to be quiet and next to the center and beaches. The residence's swimming pool was very nice, and it's never crowded, I was even able to swim there alone at lunchtime. I recommend it and will return on a future stay.

The view is tirelessly magical, every window is a painting! The garden of cypresses and olive trees is full of small nooks and crannies: the swimming pool cleaned twice a week, with games, mattresses and umbrellas, a ping pong table with all the equipment, a petanque field equipped with an incredible sunset over the mountains that extend to the sea, a second outdoor meal table sheltered from the olive trees… Because of this wild environment, the property is quite difficult to access, the arrival is by mountain roads in two directions but can be made by only one car at a time, a hit to take! It is an authentic AirBnb: the house is not intended for rent but is inhabited year-round by its owners who are staying in an annex during the summer. So there is everything you need, but the services remain quite simple (low wifi, no laundry detergent or dryer, no spare bed linen or towel, rough towels...) and the house is not suitable for small children (no possibility of an umbrella bed, terrace without railings, no swing as indicated in the listing...). There are 3 double beds, the other beds are extra beds. Finally, given the level of service announced, a small welcome attention would have been appreciated...

Exceptional holiday home in a private location and well situated for exploring Provence. The house has everything for a larger group or family and we wanted for nothing during our stay. The pool was fabulous and the enclosed and secure gardens such a bonus. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. Thank you Vincent for your frequent communication. If you value privacy, quality and love Provence I wouldn’t hesitate booking this place if you can get it!! ❤️

Wow, amazing place! Extremely clean with a huge amount of space - plenty of room for 6 of us. The high-end kitchen was stocked with snacks, drinks, coffee, tea, wine, etc... and had just about any utensil or amenity you'd need. Amazing lounge areas on the 2nd floor with stocked bar and cozy furniture. The bedrooms all had their own spacious bathrooms and there were plenty of extra towels and linens, a washer/dryer, and a good hair dryer (very important to the women!) The roof top was a great place to hang out and relax, with a second kitchen/wet bar and plenty of space. I loved sipping my Nespresso there in the mornings, and it was perfect for pre-dinner wine & cheese in the evenings. Beautiful, unique and interesting art throughout the house made it feel very special. Nadia and Serge were super helpful and responsive and offered great suggestions of things to do and where to eat and greeted us on arrival to show us around. The location can't beat, and the parking spot a huge plus!

The house surpassed the pictures many times over and we felt very comfortable! We would be very happy to come again and would also love a return visit! We had three wonderful weeks at Aline and Stephane's villa with our children and grandchildren. The property is beautiful, spacious (grounds and building), pleasant, comfortable, very secluded on the top of a hill and with all the amenities and many recreational amenities: beautiful swimming pool, outdoor ping pong, playground (pétanque, soccer, badminton, trampoline...), exercise room, games room (billiards, foosball...) and recent TVs in the living room and in the bedrooms. Aline and Stephane are very friendly and caring. They fully deserve their designation as superhosts. In summary, we loved our stay.

Well located and functional accommodation. Clean, with the necessities. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor space with the terrace, swimming pool, trampoline and barbecue. The interior is also nice, with 3 beautiful bedrooms, comfortable bedding. We had a pleasant weekend in Anthony's accommodation, who was responsive, welcoming and answered our questions. There were 4 of us (3 adults and an 11-year-old). We will happily return during our future stays in Arles.

We had the most wonderful time at Janet's place. It goes beyond the photos. The accommodation was full of character and very thoughtfully organised with lots of different places to unwind. We loved sitting outside for meals, enjoying the gorgeous surroundings. There are chairs and places to relax throughout the grounds, all presenting a different view and experience of the environment.
