The Old Stables, a tranquil country retreat

The Old Stables is a charming retreat in the beautiful countryside of the Kent/ Sussex borders. Guests are welcome to roam through our ancient bluebell woods, picnic by the lake, and make friends with our rare breed sheep. We are a perfect base to explore Winnie the Pooh country, and the many National Trust properties, walking trails, local pubs and vineyards close by. Less than an hour from London Bridge, it is an ideal country getaway; private, quiet, and with everything you need for a break.

The Summerhouse is a modern barn conversion located on the Flagpole Cottage estate with the main house dating back to 1650 in quaint and friendly Tandridge Village. This beautifully presented two bedroom detached cottage is situated within close proximity of Crowborough Town Centre and approximately 7 miles from the vibrant heart of Tunbridge Wells with popular shops, bars and restaurants. This characterful property is set amongst 4 acres of mature landscaped gardens which encompasses a private fishing lake. Along with 2 double bedrooms, this separate annex also comprises its own courtyard garden, ample parking as well as stunning views of the garden.

Sweet farm cottage, Ide Hill, Hever, Edenbridge

Puncheur Place is a semi-detached cottage on a private Estate in the middle of cycling country at the foot of Ide Hill nr Hever. It is quiet yet accessible to dozens of pubs/golf. The garden is west facing and large. Perfect for outdoor picnics. The cottage is not huge, but cozy. Many footpaths. This is Tudor County so many period properties and pubs nearby. Indeed our Estate was once owned by Thomas Boleyn, then Mary Boleyn after the beheading of her sister Anne in 1533. #puncheurplace

The Hideout - in the heart of Ashdown Forest

The Hideout is located down a private drive, well off the road and right on Ashdown Forest. We are a five minute walk from Gills Lap which is a central walking hub on the forest. Dogs are welcome and there is a secure, enclosed courtyard garden. You can walk for miles from the gate and we provide maps and walking suggestions. Forest Row, a ten minute drive, provides good shops, restaurants and cafes. There is a great local pub, The Hatch Inn, which is walkable during daylight hours.

The Piggery

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. The Piggery is part of a converted barn with far reaching views to the North Downs. Sit out and enjoy a drink and watch impressive sunsets and a wide variety of wildlife. There are two excellent pubs within walking distance and many eateries are just a short drive. Easy walking distance from Hever Castle, Chiddingstone Castle and Hever train station (0.7 miles). The Piggery offers a perfect space from which to explore the rich local area

Charming barn conversion in the Kent countryside

Barneta is the annex of a converted barn and is set in an idyllic spot on a sheep farm in the heart of the Kentish countryside but only 10 minutes drive from Hildenborough train station with trains to London and the South Coast. All the amenities of Royal Tunbridge Wells are 20 minutes drive away. It is an excellent base for walking and there are many places of interest to discover such as Penshurst Place, Chiddingstone and Hever Castles with fantastic local pubs along the routes.

Our private annexe is nestled in a peaceful cul-de-sac, just 3 miles from Chartwell and 4 miles from Sevenoaks. London Bridge is a convenient 30-minute train ride away. Enjoy high-speed WiFi, HDTV, and a well-equipped bathroom. Refreshments like coffee, tea as well as an assortment of snacks are provided for our guests. The High Street, local pub, and shops are within walking distance. Guests can park their car on-site for free. EV charging available at extra cost.

The Old Apple Store

A lovely renovated old apple store in Kent. Featuring a pretty double bedroom and mezzanine floor with futon. Guests have their own garden to enjoy in the summer or a wood burner inside to cosy up to in winter. Situated in the countryside, a short drive to Tunbridge Wells. There are a huge range of activities and sights nearby including the lovely Penshurst Place. There are also so many fantastic places to eat and drink giving guests a lot of options to keep busy.
