Vacation rentals with a kayak in Marion

We booked this house for a bachelor/bachelorette trip with 13 people, and we had the best time. The house is amazing and big enough for all of us to have our own space. It stormed our first night and the power went out. Generator kicked right in, and Marcie messaged me to check on us. Could not recommend more!!

Super clean, very comfortable beds, spacious, all the extras from kitchen to games to blankets and game room + patio seating and hot tub. We appreciated all of it! Keith and team were very responsive. We had a small issue with the heat, which they told us about at check-in. We were able to get resolution immediately. There are dogs at the neighbors that barked most of the night, to which this is NOT Keith's fault and we understood that completely and is NOT a reason to not book. A separate neighbor let us know that cops have been called and they're waiting on the city to actually do something about it. The game room was so nice and this was the perfect location for our stay - the ballpark was close which is the reason for our visit. Highly recommend for family or friends wanting to gather! Loved it all.

JR was quick to respond and friendly. We went there for a fishing trip and it did not disappoint. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of space for the 4 of us. Could easily do 6 people. The porch swing was really comfortable sitting on at night enjoying lake life. The covered pier was awesome! Electric to plug in our boats, lighted and a nice little fish cleaning station. It was a great deal and we hope to go back again soon!!

This place is a perfect getaway spot! Right on the water, the area was very quiet and the sunrise on the water is spectacular! The house itself is very spacious and clean.

If you want a getaway where you can take in all the natural beauty of nature out your window and with the Lake of Egypt at the bottom of the hill and stunning hiking trails close by; this is your place. All that you need is perfectly located in this cozy home. Sheri left little extras in the home and her communication and thoughtfulness was outstanding. Thank you Sheri for a wonderful weekend. I have already told others about you!

Other than inclement weather, our group had a nice stay. Michelle responds quickly with any questions. The house was very clean when we arrived and possessed all the essentials that you need. Would definitely recommend this house!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the lake house! The house was amazing. We enjoyed using the kayaks on the lake. We had a fire in the fire pit every night. It was absolutely amazing! Tina is super responsive and even gave us a lot of local recommendations and did everything she could to make our stay easy. We will definitely stay there again in the future!

This is a perfect little cottage near the lake. It had everything we needed, including nice outdoor patio spaces for eating and a big firepit. You can't see much of the lake from the cottage, but it's easy to get to - across a quiet road and down a very long flight of stairs. There's a nice big dock for fishing, swimming, star gazing at night, boating, and just relaxing and enjoying the view (it's a particularly scenic section of the lake because there is no development on the other side of the water - just forest!). We loved having access to kayaks and enjoyed fishing off the dock. Would love to return in summer when we can swim and do even more water activities!

Beautiful place to stay! The lake is amazing to wake up to in the morning and so peaceful at night!

This property was tranquil and private. The other two cottages were an adequate distance from ours to allow for peace and quiet. The views are fantastic and the grounds welcoming. The house was clean, comfortable and offered a good vibe.

Amazing get away to spend time with our grown kids and their families. Lots to do with the game room, fire pit, kayaks, fishing, etc… this location is pet friendly and had a very large fenced in porch with the dogs loved. We took walks on the winding country roads and met minimal cars. But those that did drive by met us with a wave and a smile. One car stopped to admire our pets and welcome us to the area and said how thankful they were to have guests in the area. We will definitely make this an annual stay.

My husband and I had such a lovely trip to this cabin. It was literally perfect. The area is so private, peaceful, and super spacious! We could not recommend this Airbnb enough!! Jensena is super kind, accommodating, and responsive! She even left us some goodies when we arrived, and the cabin was spotless! The pictures are stunning, but nothing compared to the home in person! If you are thinking about renting it, do it!!!

Wow! Wow! Wow! I rented this cabin for my husband and a few friends that went to Illinois for a hunting trip. I literally cannot say enough great things about this place and about Wally & Vickie. To say that they went above and beyond would be an understatement. Wally seriously went out of his way to accommodate my husband and his friends. His kindess and generosity did not go unnoticed. In addition to the gracious host, the cabin itself was beautiful, clean, and well stocked to meet all of our groups' needs. My husband is already looking forward to renting this space again next year!

I had a wonderful stay over Christmas to visit family. Bradley created a very festive atmosphere and I felt very much at home! He was very responsive to any questions and gave great directions. The property was absolutely beautiful, perfect for morning coffee by the pond. Lots of wildlife and space to roam. Walking, bikes, and canoe were great! It is quite secluded off the beaten path but easy to find with instruction. It was perfect and my family and I loved this stay. Definitely recommend and definitely would return! A huge Thank You from my family to yours.
