Tuscan Nature Views From Casa Gave

The house consists of two apartments within a wing of the Gave manor house in Sorana, a little village in the heart of Svizzera Pesciatina in Tuscany. Far from the crowd of cities, it's the right place where to escape and find relax. Admire the original wood beam ceilings and wooden fixtures while sitting around the indoor fireplace or spend a sunny afternoon out in the garden under the pergola or in the swimming pool surrounded by the olive trees terraces (airbnb.com/h/casagavenaturarelax). The apartment, with separate entrance, is composed as follows: - kitchen-living room with wood burning fireplace complete with all appliances, microwave, kettle and TV; - double bedroom with wardrobe and sofa bed. Removable baby bed available on request; - bathroom with toilet, shower and bidet. The property was completely renovated in 2017 respecting the original features, such as ceilings with chestnut beams, local stone walls, chestnut window frames and wrought iron gates. The furniture are made of wood recovered from the original beams. Outside there are a pergola covered by a wisteria where you can relax or eat and a bbq available for lunches and dinners. A ping-pong table and table football are also available. As we live next to the apartment we are available for any need of the guest. The home is in a natural setting with multiple areas for scenic hikes to enjoy. Take a trip to the amazing Lucca or to the Montecarlo vineries, or to the seaside in Versilia, have a spa day at Montecatini Terme, visit the Pinocchio Park in Collodi, and enjoy authentic cuisine at the local restaurants. The strategic corner!

The building has undergone "ecobonus 110%" works and has therefore been totally renovated. Apartment with new modern furnishings, equipped with everything (in particular two new Mitsubishi air conditioners: in the living room and in the bedroom), with covered condominium parking and very close to the train station and the highway entrance, a short walk from the center and along a beautiful Corso... on which it is located...! The appartment is peacful and in the heart of this beautiful Tuscan town, if you want to explore the region this is a perfect retreat for a weekend or longer. The location is perfect for summer or winter. In summer you can reach the sea, in winter ski in the hills. All year round you can explore the region by foot, bike, motorcycle or car. There are buses and trains with onward links, we do suggest a car.

[Tuscany] Between Pisa, Lucca, and Florence

Marco was a fantastic host! He texted us beforehand asking if we wanted to self check-in or have him meet us there. Meeting us on the street as we arrived, he took us straight up and immediately started to explain all amenities, along with providing us with some lovely maps of Montecatini and Lucca. He strongly recommended a visit to his favourite local place of Lucca, in which his recommendation was very well received as we spent the Sunday wandering the splendid medieval town. All in all I would very much recommend this AirBnB, as it's 5min walk from main centre, the station and many authentic restaurants (which Marco told us about when we asked him). Don't forget to also take the vernacular and visit Montecatini-Alto in the hills!

My husband and son stayed in this wonderful apartment because I was renovating my home and then moving to the beautiful town of Montecatini thermal baths, the apartment is brand new, comfortable warm, beautiful with all the comforts,very close to the center,nothing to add. We had a great time. Irina is very kind and helpful, Marcel is a very helpful person, very professional and friendly. I recommend it.

Casa Caterina is a magical & mystical time capsule, you will feel enriched by the views and its walls. It will have everything you need to lead a simple, wholesome life while there. The host Caterina couldn’t have been more helpful, recommending her friends’ beautiful restaurant (Buca di Baldabo) as well helping us get the stove going after a glass of wine when we couldn’t understand the screen’s language. You will leave feeling revived and whole, an incredible place! Thank you so much!

A beautiful villa with exceptional views to the hills and valley. Various oudoor areas. Private location however close to sights and amenities. Cafes and restaurants not far however not walking distance, best accessed by own car. Electric bikes were available for sightseeing. Fantastic host, always responsive and helpful. Can warmly recommend.

I had a wonderful stay—loved the cozy space and truly appreciated the host’s warm hospitality and thoughtful recommendations that made my trip even more special.
