We love Margate and we think our cottages are the perfect base to make the most of all that this amazing town has to give! Cottage no 15 is located right in the heart of Margate's Old Town. It is one of two cottages that we offer, both of which are tucked away in a private gated courtyard on Love Lane. The cottages are literally yards from the many shops, restaurants, cafes and bars that the Old Town has to offer and are a stone's throw from the beautiful harbour and beach.

Our cosy yet spacious family house is located on the historic Hawley Square, situated just minutes away from the beach front, The Turner Contemporary, Dreamlands, Shell Grotto, The Theatre Royal, and all of the Vintage Shops, Restaurants, Bars and Cafes in the Old Town. Only 2 minutes from the Main Sands the Seafront walks will bring you to Cliftonville(10mins), Walpole Bay(15mins), Botonay Bay(30mins)

The Anchorage, A Happy House in Margate Old Town

The Anchorage is a spacious newly refurbished 3 storey 1930s house, located in Margate's Old Town, a 2 minute walk to Margate Sands and Marine Drive. Within walking distance to all of Margate's delights including the Turner Contemporary Gallery and Dreamland. Close to shops and two supermarkets. Train station and bus stops nearby. The house is able to accommodate 6 people comfortably. Fully equipped with all you need for a comfortable stay. Well behaved dogs welcome.

Sunset Sea View Writer’s Retreat

Beautiful flat with six sea facing floor to ceiling windows. This is a Grade II-listed building with a rare outlook over gardens and out to sea. However, the facade and railing are in need of TLC. Don't be put off by the shabby exterior. Works are being slowly undertaken to renew the outside but this all takes time. The flat is not suitable for toddlers and young children as the windows open to the floor.
