Beachfront vacation rentals in Margate Beach

We had a wonderful weekend at Sandy Feet Cottage. The cottage is in a great location, only a few minutes away from all that Broadstairs has to offer. Great location for exploring further afield too, as there are some lovely walks including one to Margate. The cottage was very clean and had everything that you needed. The description was spot on. Sally was vey easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend.

A great location for a family stay - super easy to get to the main beach but also a big Morrisons. Plenty of room for our family of five. Some outdoor noise at night due to the house's proximity to restaurants etc., but to be expected in a town centre. Hope to visit again!

Beautiful location, everything you could need for a peaceful break. We had a bbq one evening, went to Hampton Inn another - made for a great weekend. Lovely quiet getaway outside of popular resorts, although recommend walking to/from Whitstable for a visit without the stress of being in a busy town. Our little dog loved it, wonderful for bird watching and sea dips.

Great property. Pics don’t do it justice. We really felt at home. Super close to the beach and park for the dogs. So many amenities, even a spare toothbrush - which i had forgotten at home. Thank you for having us.

We had a wonderful stay at Rose Cottage. Beautiful Airbnb and a great location- a few minutes from the beach and restaurants. Lovely sunny garden with furniture and a bbq. Comfortable beds. The stairs are steep but that’s called out in the description. We can’t wait to visit again!

Fabulous apartment with spectacular views! The photos do not do the grandeur of the place justice… it’s absolutely stunning! Angela was great too and had some fantastic recommendations on what to do and where to eat, which were fab. Would stay again in a heartbeat!!

The property matched the description perfectly, place in a very peaceful road in the heart of historic Deal, plenty to walk and explore such a beautiful old neighbourhood. The property had everything covered from dog treats to USB charges, it was a home away from home. Such a historic old quirky building as long as you’re not tall, you’ll be fine! Thank you

We had a great time in this lovely cottage. It has so much character and charm, and loads of space. It was clean, really beautifully decorated and practical - kitchen had everything we needed, big dining table, two outdoor seating areas (so you can get sun morning and afternoon!) and big bathrooms. The stairs are steep - fine for us - but the cottage location is fab- walkable to the beach and the lovely shops and restaurants of Broadstairs. The owner also provided maps and guidebooks for the local area. Communication with the owner was perfect, we had everything we needed. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place, thanks for having us Ellie!

It’s a really clean caravan, looks exactly like the pictures. It had everything we needed, it was a great base to be able to visit family nearby. Communication was great as well. We will be booking again next time we are down.

We absolutely loved staying at the Beach Hut. The location was perfect, we walked into Margate and Birchington. Train and buses so close if needed . Westgate High street was so close and the Swan which was 2 minutes away was great for food and drinks. It was really peaceful and extremely clean, such lovely touches with coffee/tea, milk, water and cereal. We loved the chilled atmosphere sitting in the front of the hut for drinks or coffee , so relaxing. We would definitely stay again and also recommend for a perfect relaxing break and although we only got to wave at Lorraine , David was so friendly and checked to see if all was ok for us . Great communication and we absolutely loved it. Thank you so much for our stay and how attentive and responsive you have been 👍

This was our second visit to the Lighthouse and it still is an amazing place, from the panoramic sea views to a lovely warm inviting home. A dip in the pool before breakfast, sitting with a coffee watching the seascape, as far as Essex and beyond, sunsets and so much more. I will make the same comment as I did last, this goes for the whole of our party across 3 generations and the dogs, the only bad thing about the Lighthouse is having to leave. Hopefully this will not be our last visit.

First time hiring a hut and I’m so glad I did. This little hut was cute and had everything you needed. I messaged Maria asking for a little something for my mum’s bday and she did 😊. No bad reviews we’re planning on hiring more often, all it could do with is a little tlc ie painting needs updating, the windbreakers need replacing and possibly something for the ground by the doors as it’s hard to open the doors with the stones. But other then that it was lovely and we had such a lovely time , we locked everything up in the hut and took a walk to the pier and came back it was lovely thank you ☺️

This house has absolutely everything you could ever want or need. Swimming pool is great and heated to a perfect temp for the kids. House is enormous and every little thing seems to have been thought of by the hosts including extras such as dressing gowns for all guests, soap, shampoo and a hairdryer in every room. Location is right on the coast with great views out the front of the sea. Garden is lovely. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks Alan and Bill

Had a lovely mini break away at Kimberley’s place. Felt right at home straight away and the location was perfect for seaside walks, popping to the near seaside towns and watching the beautiful sunsets this area of the North Kent coast is famous for. The home was well equipped with everything you could possibly need, the beds were really comfortable and I loved the little touch of leaving some bread, butter & milk, snacks and a hot drinks station. Loved it so much that we’ve already booked to go back again in the Summer so I think that says it all! Thankyou Kimberley, you were the perfect host! 😊

I think this is my fourth stay in this lovely flat. It’s the perfect place to stay. In a peaceful part of town with the most amazing views and, if you are lucky, the most extraordinary sunsets over the sea. If you are a swimmer it has the extra benefit of being very close to the stunning Walpole Bay sea pool. Swimming there are sunset is a wonderful experience.

Lovely weekend away in Margate. 8min walk to town along the promenade from the flat. We came to attend the 80's rewind festival at Dreamland. Found great places for morning coffee along the way too. The flat was located in quiet street, 4 min walk to beach. Jonathan was always responsive if we had a question but everything was so well organised we found what we needed. Will definitely return in the future and would recommend.

We had a lovely minibreak here with our kids. The house has a cosy period property feel and a well equipped kitchen. We loved how close the house is to the beach and the shops and restaurants in town. Natasha shared a helpful online guidebook ahead of our stay which helped us plan ahead where we wanted to eat out and even buy ice cream!

Caroline is a great host, incredibly responsive and provided great insights to the local area, would highly recommend.

The accommondation was far greater than our expectations. We considered the bedrooms to be even more aesthetically pleasing than what was advertised which was good in its own right. Had all household amenities that made you feel as if you were right at home. All spaces were clean and a folder was provided with “Things to do and see” which was a thoughtful touch. Location wise, it overlooked the sea and is in walking distance of key spaces such as the beach, train station and local shops. We would recommend too any and everyone looking to spend time in Margate for the beach, annual festivals like Recessland or just time away in the area.

Perfect house for exploring Margate with family and friends. Has everything you need and with beautiful sea views. This is the third time we have stayed and will definitely be back.

Michelle was super helpful. The view from the kitchen was amazing, there are lots of cutlery and glasses available and she even has games like Jenga, Operation and Uno which are great for evenings in.
