Excellent hôte, toujours un thé ou un café à porté de main, vous pouvez facilement partager avec lui votre repas, il partagera le sien ! Et il est très bavard, sur plein de sujet, impossible de s'ennuyer. La communication se fera sans doute plus facilement si vous êtes à l'aise en anglais. Mon meilleur hôte à ce jour je pense.

Emplacement idéal à proximité de la Flow vélo. Logement calme dans un village à découvrir. Et hôtes acceuillants et attentifs, avec une excellente communication en amont.

Brilliant option for a base to explore this region. Emilie and Nicholas were fabulous hosts, the room and house were delightful - so tranquil and comfortable. It was lovely coming “home” to our room in the chateau after a busy day exploring the region. So much to do and see in this area. But waking up to a crisp October morning and having breakfast (all local produce - yum!) overlooking vineyards as far as the eye can see was surreal for us and quiet breathtaking. Best stay we’ve had so far in our 3 month Europe adventure.

Evelyn and Noel are wonderful hosts. Very service minded and friendly. The room was very cosy and clean. A wonderful surprise was the early breakfast they organised for us before our long drive back home. Freshly baked cookies, divers Sandi witches, a warm cup of coffee and tea, fresh fruit & juices. See you next year!

Stunning place to stay with lovely pool although we didn’t use it as we were so busy out sightseeing. The house is beautiful and the fresh breakfast provided daily was excellent. Both hosts were extremely helpful in suggesting places to visit. There is so much to do in the area and wished we could have stayed longer. I highly recommend a stay here. It would have been nice if the bar in the village had been open in the evening and as long as you are prepared to drive there are lots of places to eat nearby.

Nous sommes arrivés, mes 2 fils et moi-même, à motos plus tôt que prévu et avons été tres bien accueillis par Odile. Les motos ont été garées dans le garage. Nous avons mangés le menu périgourdin préparé par Odile qui était excellent, quantité et qualité. Nous avons bien dormi, la literie est confortable. Le petit-déjeuner était parfait lui aussi. We had the most incredible stay in Chateau la Grande Clotte. Julie and her husband have created a wonderful space to relax and enjoy the French countryside. The setting was like a postcard, settled amongst vineyards and the renovations to the property have kept so much charming features. Easy to get to by car, we enjoyed the self guided bike tours to st Emillion and many wonderful meals out and a tour of the on site wine production facility . Each morning we enjoyed a lovely buffet breakfast. Their lovely dog was a welcome surprise and a wonderful addition. The perfect start to our holiday and hope to come back some day in the future.

Beautiful garden and pool area with exotic plants and cosy shared lounge which was unique and well designed. Thierry was very friendly and extremely hospitable. The breakfast was delicious, especially the selection of jams and marmalade made by Florence. The bedroom was comfortable with a spacious bathroom including a bath. Highly recommended and we would definitely go back .

Severine est au petit soin. L’accueil est chaleureux et Severine aime le contact et favorise le partage si l’hôte le désir. C’est un endroit très sympathique et calme. Le pdj est frais, tout est fait maison. Je recommande

Annick et son mari sont particulièrement accueillants. Leur maison est une bulle de tranquillité, à 10 mn à pied de la cité. La chambre et salle de bains étaient très propres. Le petit déjeuner est incroyable ! Merci Annick pour les pâtisseries maison et la petite salade de fruits, une belle attention… Nous ne reviendrons, c’est sûr ! Ce fut une une belle rencontre !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Mathilde et Martin. l'endroit est sublime, la maison très chaleureuse. Les espaces communs sont très très très agréables à vivre, on se sent presque dans la nature en cuisinant. L'immense table invite à de longues discussions avec les différents hôtes de la maison. C'est moderne, accueillant, apaisant, lumineux, convivial. Nous étions avec notre bébé d'un an. Elle a pu gambader partout en toute tranquillité. Tout était prévu pour accueillir des enfants. Merci ! Et ça a été une chouette rencontre avec Martin et Mathilde. Vous avez réussi à faire un très beau projet de cette maison, bravo ! Pour résumer : nous avons passé notre séjour à nous demander avec qui nous reviendrons passer une semaine ou deux. Nous avons tellement aimé que ça donne déjà envie de revenir ! À la revoyure !

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour ! L’accueil était très agréable, le logement parfaitement conforme à l’annonce. Tout était d’une propreté impeccable, le lit très confortable et la salle de bain vraiment agréable. On s’y sent tout de suite bien. Nous avons passé un superbe séjour chez Bruno et Veronique. Les hôtes étaient très accueillants et disponibles. Nous avons reçu de bons conseils pour visiter la ville et la région. De plus, l’hôtel particulier est exceptionnel. Nous avons reçu une visite du lieu très intéressante. La chambre correspondait à la description. Le lit était confortable. Le petit déjeuner très copieux. Bref, je recommande chaudement.

Couldn’t have asked for better hosts staying with John and Janet. Friendly, welcoming and helpful with a brilliant breakfast provided each day, beautiful surroundings, nice chats and use of the pool. The living area was spotless and nothing was too much trouble. We had a wedding locally and it was a great base just outside the village. Our only very minor suggestion would be whether a mini fridge could be provided to save us disturbing the hosts by asking to use their fridge fairly often, but all in all it was a perfect stay. Thank you so much, we hope we’ll be back and will recommend to friends and family wanting a relaxing stay in the Dordogne!

What a wonderful place to stay. The decor is beautiful, the bed is supremely comfortable, the shower is amazing. We loved throwing the shutters open in the morning to look out over the garden. Breakfast in the beautiful garden was a real treat, a French holiday straight from central casting! There is absolutely nothing I would change and I highly recommend you stay here.
