House vacation rentals in Maresca

Amazing place! Nestled in the beautiful surroundings of the Lucca hills. Very peaceful. Lots of birdsong. We saw a deer in the garden! The grounds are brilliant and the place is the perfect size for a couple. We loved eating on the terrace with the great view, and swimming in the private pool. Only a short drive to Lucca which has some amazing restaurants (our favourite was Osteria de Pasquale). There’s some great vineyards in the area - our favourite was Fattoria Sardi. If I was reading this review I wouldn’t think twice about booking!

We expected this villa and views to be amazingly but it was above our expectations would definately recommed it, Jeroen emailed clear directions andchecking in info but he also videoed the sign and road to look out for and videoed the road down to the villa as it wasn't signposted. The villa has 360° panaramic views, and is not overlooked at all, with a fab infinity pool. Very clean and modern, had everything u needed. It was a pleasent change to have plenty of everything in the kitchen,crockery and glasses all matching and stacked high. Washing machine and dishwasher were added bonuses along with the little shop just up the road. 5 star all the way.

I don’t have the words to describe how beautiful this apartment on the hillside is. The apartment itself is nice and cosy and spacious, and the kitchen contains a little bottle of olive oil produced from their own olives. But it is the location, the gardens and the little farm and the view across the valley which can take your breath away. Sonia is happy and welcoming and patient. She showed us around the wine and olive farm and was always approachable when we contacted her. There are two guest apartments side by side, but it is quite private nonetheless. Note that you can hear sounds from the other apartment quite easily. I cannot recommend this enough! Would love to come back.

What a great place to stay while visiting Tuscany. The home is a renovated medieval watchtower located up a dirt road, tucked on a hilltop overlooking the valley. Jacopo, the host, was so kind, hospitable and responsive during our 5-day visit. Would definitely recommend this place to explore Tuscana.

Cristina is the perfect host and the house is beautiful. The surroundings are amazing and the views......wow! All through the booking and our stay there Cristina was swift to answer any questions we had and also was happy to offer suggestions on places to go and where to eat. We had a perfect week there and I wouldn't hesitate to go back or to recommend her place to anyone else. Cristina and her sister met us at the house and showed us round, clearly pointing out all the relevant bits that we would need to know. Thank you so much for making our week in Italy so special and enjoyable......we are already looking to come back!

Giacomo greeted us right away once we areived to his beautiful home. Him and his wife navigated us throughout the home and described how to use all the amenities. He was kind and always available when we needed something. The home is beautiful, private and is surrounded by gorgeous nature. I highly recommend Giacomo's home. Thank you for everything!

Nice house in the hills above Pistoia. It is a few degrees cooler than in the city, and you have a beautiful view. We enjoyed the chickens scratching around and the sweet cat. Also, in the evening, a lot of fireflies could be seen. Annalisa is very friendly and caring.

Benedetta was the perfect host! The location was perfect for us with a small park to exercise our dog and a fenced garden. There is a pastercceria a stone's throw which did excellent coffee too. We also made use of the local butcher who had some very appetising produce.

House with wonderful views. The journey is a bit adventurous, but that is probably part of such a small mountain village (as well as the delicious local pizzeria). We used the accommodation as a base for excursions in the whole of Tuscany, but you could stay there for several days just for the landscape.

The property is perfect for those seeking peace and nature. The village is secluded in the mountains, meaning: the journey is long and leads over small but well-maintained mountain roads. The village itself is not accessible by car, which should be considered if you have a lot of luggage or if you are not so good on foot. Letitia also offers a luggage service, but we did not use it. It was perfect for us. Lots of hiking opportunities and an all-around breathtaking view compensates for the exhausting path. There is a small shop in the village, but larger purchases should be planned when leaving the highway. The kitchen is well equipped to cook anything for 2-4 people. Otherwise, the apartment lacks nothing. Unfortunately, the weather was rather rainy during our stay, but that happens in May. But when the sun comes out, it's nice and warm. Would come back immediately and stay longer.

Francesca warmly greeted us when we arrived at the house. She showed us around and helped out with any questions we had. The house itself is in a stunning location with beautiful views, we loved the place! It felt very homely and we had everything we needed inside. Would highly recommend!

Stella is a beautiful person and a perfect host. Everything immediately felt like home. She explained everything very nicely. The location was serene and she gave a lot of information on things to do in that area. Would love to come again for sure.

We spent 6 days in a cozy place, tastefully decorated. Allessandra and Égizia were very welcoming and very concerned about our well-being. If we return to this area, we'll be sure to get back in touch. Good compromise for visiting Florence. Beautiful Pistoia region.

From the moment we were greeted by Isabella, Massimo and their son, to the moment we said goodbye we felt right at home. The house is well located. It was nice to leave the hustle of the old city and retreat to the expansive peaceful terrace of the house for an “aperitivo” before dinner. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well after long days of touring. One of our favorite things was collecting water from the town spring, which was just a few doors away.

We can only recommend this unique place, steeped in history and located in a remarkable setting. The owners are welcoming, discreet and very responsive. We must also highlight the presence of Donatella, an exceptional person. We can only encourage you to discover this unique place

Cutigliano was a quiet and beautiful location. While we often drove 2 hours to go to major destinations, there was so much to do nearby as well. I found one of my favourite things to do was to explore the village and trials nearby. The people were wonderfully kind and the local food was amazing. Highly reccomend this location for a longer stay in italy. We live in an apartment at home, so the house felt spacious and luxurious, but at the same time, with authenticity. We got used to living with the gorgeous chruch bells across the street... everything was a joy! We stayed with a 6 month old baby which was great. If our small child was walking or crawling by themselves there are lots of stairs, some without rails which should be considered. Solange was exceptional. She was waiting outside when we arrived to help us understand how to bring in our luggage and park our car. She was quick to respond and had lots of suggestions for things nearby. Overall one of my fave trips!

We were very happy with our experience here! The hot tub was great, and the area itself was truly idyllic. It was amazing to be surrounded by olive trees and grapevines. There are many great restaurants within walking distance that we can highly recommend. We're very pleased with both the host and our stay!

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was perfect. Carolina and her mother were most helpful and assisted when we had questions. We found the property so peaceful and beautiful. 10/10 stay. The breakfast was wonderful every morning. Thank you! Would recommend renting a car for this property!

Wow- Cris’s house was not just a single home but an entire small village. We had one of the houses, but it is possible to rent more than one and maybe even all. Each of the houses has been restored wonderfully and there is ample parking. There’s a large beautiful pool that has been redone recently with an infinity edge. Her family’s landscaping and gardening throughout is filled with beautiful flowers growing all around stone terraces. There is an amazing natural set of spring fed streams and waterfalls directly behind the house and my children went exploring and were able to swim in crystal clear cool spring water and had a fantastic time. I would say the most spectacular part of our stay is that we were given an expert cooking class by Chris and learned to make beautiful pastas, a roast, and fantastic tiramisu! Her farms olive is also some of the best I’ve ever tasted. Everything about Cris’s houses was wonderful. She and her brother have put together an amazing experience.

Bianca is one of the best hosts I ever encountered. She is very friendly, welcoming and social. She is very passionate about her house and guests. She treated us like friends and I think we already became friends for life. Her house is very special, magical, clean and beautiful. Its very spacious felt right at home and had everything we needed. Its private and peaceful yet walking distance from Grassina town down the hill, around 10 minutes walk. The town has everything you need from restaurants to bars, Farmacia, little boutique shops and beauty salons. The location is perfect and outside the city but only 20-30 minutes from Florence. I am defiantly coming back to this place.

The location is very nice, with attention to detail and located in a quiet area but convenient for getting around. The apartment was clean, cozy, and fully reflected the photos. A big plus for us was the private pool and the area equipped with a barbecue, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the evenings. The host was very kind, always available and very friendly. Highly recommended, we would gladly come back!
