We had a wonderful stay at Michael's place. The perfect cosy place for our family Thanksgiving. Michael welcomed us in person, showed us around the place and was available for anything we needed. Great place, great host!
A serene pond is framed by a grassy area and bordered by a wooden fence. Leafless trees stand along the water's edge, their reflections visible in the calm surface of the pond. Surrounding hills provide a backdrop to the peaceful scene.

We had a very nice stay. It was a quiet cozy cabin. The cabin had all the room and amities we were looking for. We were close to Lassen Volcanic Park which was the reason we chose this cabin. The host stayed in touch to help answer any questions we had.
A two-story cabin is nestled among tall trees, showcasing a prominent deck above the entrance. The structure features a blend of wood and metal elements, with a gentle slope of the forest floor leading up to the house. Surrounding greenery enhances the secluded atmosphere.

The cabin was perfect for our small get together. Our families had teens to toddlers and the cabin had something for each one of them. The foggy lake we woke up to in the morning is a pleasant experience and beautiful.

The Cabin Viola

Not enough space to mention how awesome this place is. My kid wanted to visit Lassen Nat'l Park for her college grad gift. Manzanita Lake was just over 6 miles away. We kayaked & jogged happily daily. The local grocery store wasn't too far either . This home is insanely beautiful and very well kept. It had everything we needed. We used the grill, fishing poles, washer/dryer, all the kitchen appliances, and EXCELLENT wi-fi. 2 full baths for 5 is always a plus . Every morning & evening we sat on the back deck snuggled in a blanket, listening to the creek and drinking coffee provided by our hosts. We even enjoyed an evening with board games and wine made by the hosts as well! My hubby and I kept remarking about the cool little things we kept finding in the house, just little touches that made the home more charming and fun. The host answered our texts promptly and was super funny. Felt like a true family vacation, loved every minute. OH and all the guys LOVED playing the N64!

RIDGE VIEW Retreat

LauraRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
This was my best rental so far!!! I would highly recommend this place and wish we were able to stay longer. The home was very cozy, clean and well stocked. There was an assortment of coffees and teas. There were fun fixings to make hot chocolate, s'mores and popcorn. The hosts thought of everything. There was a fire pit to enjoy in the evening to make s'mores and a large game room perfect for adults and children. It was peaceful listening to the birds and taking in the beautiful view of Mt. Shasta. It is also a great place to enjoy the stars at night. The home was a 30 minute drive to Lassen Volcanic National Park. We also enjoyed the Subway Caves and Burney Falls! We hope to return to this special place someday.
A spacious living area is highlighted by tall windows that invite natural light and offer views of the surrounding trees. A cozy seating arrangement includes two blue chairs and a soft couch, with a wooden accent wall and a flat-screen TV. A decorative sign is displayed on the wall.

Excellent location in a beautiful forested area. Easy to use kitchen fully supplied. I don’t think I missed anything. Cute coffee/tea station, little snacks & all the appliances, pots, pans needed. Stacy & Cyndee were very helpful & responsive to our questions. We will book again for next trip for further exploration & hiking & kayaking adventures.
