The refuge was created so that the guest has an unforgettable experience, from the chalet you can see one of the most sought after attractions, the Pico do Papagaio, in addition to the forests, to the sound of the Seriemas, monkeys and noise of the river, bringing peace and tranquility.

We are in the Gamarra Valley, which is part of the Serra do Papagaio State Park. There are more than 100 waterfalls and breathtaking landscapes. Our Bungalows have been completely renovated to serve couples seeking comfort and privacy in the midst of nature. You can watch the sunset and starry nights while lying in bed or on the deck, with the relaxing sound of the Gamarra River in the background. The fauna and flora are vibrant, with common encounters with Toucans, Hummingbirds, Seriemas, Butterflies and others.

Refúgio das Juçaras is a typical forest house, rustic, clean, cozy and surrounded by giant stones that make the land enchanted. The house is within an Environmental Protection Area, embedded in nature, including juçara palm trees, ferns and other beauties of the Atlantic Forest. At the bottom of the land passes the crystalline Alambari River, which separates our land from the Itatiaia National Park. The house is in a region close to the emerald wells of Serrinha. It's an enchanted place!
