Lovely cosy house which was clean and tidy. This was our second stay at Homestead and we will be coming back.

Lovely stay, the farm was beautiful and the animal feeding was the highlight of our childrens’ stay. Pool was great, super clean everywhere, and they provided maps of local walks which we utilised too. Couldn’t have asked for much more.

The house was absolutely incredible and excellent value for money. It was in stunning surroundings, the hot tub was amazing and the exclusive booking system for use of the pool was a lovely addition. The house was spotless and full of character and the private garden was also wonderful. The beds were really comfortable and there was just the right balance of charm, space and comfort. We definitely struck gold when booking this gem. Thanks so much for all of your support in making this a trip to remember!

We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. The space is great and as an extra bonus, you get to use a heated pool and brilliant games room. We went early Jan and there was loads of snow, as well as pretty cold temperatures, but the house warmed up very quickly and we were always more than comfortable. The property is close enough to Bakewell for a short drive or taxi ride, should you want to venture into town. We're thinking about going back in the summer.

Outstanding in every way. This cottage is worth more than 5* it simply cannot be beat. We have been to a lot of nice properties but Richard and Jo have made this property and their 16 acre land simply beautiful. Very nice people as well.

What a wonderful stay at Manor Farm. The house was beautiful, well maintained, extremely spacious and very comfortable. The surrounding countryside was stunning, with great food being served in nearby pubs and plenty of places to visit. Great space for youngsters too, with the wildlife - baby rabbits, sheep and birds and of course the swimming pool and games room, all of which they loved. Thanks to the hosts for their welcome and hospitable atmosphere.

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

A lovely, cute and well decorated cottage in a quiet area which had all that we needed. The host was fantastic and always available. The village pub, The Lion, was fantastic for our evening food and drinks and The Woodberry cafe for breakfast in the morning. We had a spa day at the local Edens Den so the cottage was a great find to enable us to chill for the evening rather than drive back home.

We (3 friends) had a really nice stay here. The house was very clean and well looked after and the views from the front of the house just amazing. Comfy beds, plenty of parking and the kitchen had everything we needed. Great location too for our visits to Bolsover Castle and Renishaw gardens.

As soon as we saw the Garden House we relaxed straight away, it is a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beautiful scenery and birds. Isabel’s handbook had lots of information and great instructions to walk around the estate and meet the sheep. The welcome pack was superb! Thankyou! We slept so well with the bird song waking us. We did venture out but it was great to get back to the comfort of the Garden house. I met Isabel who is a wonderful lady. We do hope to be back again Mary and David

If you’re on the fence about booking this place, do it. Absolutely fantastic stay, immaculately decorated and spotlessly clean. Kate was a fantastic host who also provided some essentials for our stay which was so thoughtful. What a beautiful home and so peaceful. Everything about mill house and the host was fantastic, will definitely be back

Great location for a nearby family wedding Lovely place to stay, fully equipped and spotless. Village is great (went to the Royal Oak pub for drinks and food) walking through the village there were lots of other options but we didn’t have the time to try them Would recommend!

We spent a lovely few days at Scrumpy’s Cottage - it’s beautifully decorated with lots of quirky but tasteful touches. The welcome basket of goodies went down well too. Jo was quick to answer any pre arrival questions and she and Adam were perfect hosts when we visited their micro pub next door - really friendly as were all the locals. Super little home from home. Would most certainly recommend Cathrine’s place very homely spotlessly clean ,very central location once we got our bearings we could walk to shops movie cinema. Actually got to meet our Host on our departure so pleasant & easy to talk . Thanks again Cathrine hopefully we get back in the near future Deb & Wayne Michelle Fred Alan & Chris we all were very comfortable for 6 adults. 😀👍😎

Just beautiful. A tastefully renovated chapel with elegant furnishings and heaps of character. The well-equiped kitchen was a pleasure to cook in and we had lots of fun with the board games and cards provided. Ashford is a picturesque village with great dining and drinking options. A perfect spot for our family reunion.

We've just spent a great week exploring and walking this part of the Peak District - staying at Peter's wonderful home Saunters in Darley Dale. Everything about Saunters is perfect - perfect location, quiet and peaceful with wonderful views across the countryside from the lounge and conservatory. Saunters provides a spacious and comfortable home in which to relax and unwind.

It was a very clean and tidy apartment with everything we needed. The only issue was the hot water in shower, it kept going off and caused a difficult experience in the shower. Apart from this, everything was perfect!

had a great stay in Jamie's house, he's a great host, responsive to questions and gave us clear instructions on accessing property, the house itself is very clean and so quiet.

Had a great stay . Perfect for anyone going to the arena or city centre which is only 10 mins away. Lovely home , well decorated and comfortable. Unfortunately the wifi was a little temperamental , and we couldn’t get the tv to work . It didn’t ruin our stay as we were only there for an evening . Martyn was so helpful and was on hand for my questions, and was very apologetic. Overall , great place to stay and will definitely be back if we visiting Nottingham again .
