Monthly Rentals in Mankinholes

i was born about 4 miles from the piggery but did not realise what a view could be had from the Stoodley Pike hillside. It was helped by the really good weather (also a surprise) but the Piggery has been very well thought out, was spotless, and had most things you would expect. Everything included was working and of excellent quality. The drive up from Eastwood is like nothing previously experienced, a little scary. We did it three times and I must say, by the third time we did it, I quite enjoyed it. We met both Barry and Helen separately and found both of them very pleasant and extremely helpful. The accommodation was well thought out and once again, I must mention the views which are superb. A location to be recommended. Ray (and Shirley)

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful lodge to celebrate my wife’s 30th Birthday. The surroundings are stunning and it’s such a peaceful idyllic space. The whole lodge and grounds were pristine and the little extra touches just made it for us. Thank you so much for having us. You’re brilliant hosts and we’ll definitely be looking to come back in the future.

Shirley and Jane’s cottage was lovely. Situated above the main road it was peaceful with lovely views across the valley. Parking was easy directly outside. The lounge had comfortable furniture and the kitchen quite well equipped. There was a dishwasher, also laundry facilities in the cellar, but we did not need to use them. The central heating was also available if we required it. We appreciated the “welcome” items that Shirley had left for us. Upstairs the two bedrooms and bathroom were easily accessible. The wardrobe in the double room was not accessible for an older person, a step required as it was a cupboard over the stairs and quite high. Otherwise the room was fine. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and the shower was good. Access to the property was good. Shirley met us and showed us where everything was and was easily contactable should we need help. The cottage is well situated for access to Hebden Bridge and on the outskirts of Todmorden.

This was my second time staying at Ben and Kate's place. I would definitely recommend it if you're looking to stay somewhere peaceful but within a few minutes walking distance into the town centre. They have the comfiest bed and leave delicious chocolates too.
