It's an absolute gem! It's a very clean place filled with amenities. You don’t need to worry about anything because everything is provided, and instructions are mentioned on everything. There’s a garage to park your car, which is a plus point, and a very efficient washer and dryer are available. The host is very welcoming and responsive as well. There are thoughtful touches that make you feel at home. Will definitely stay here again if there’s a chance!

Really lovely home. And the hosts have really left all its accoutrements - the vintage furniture, the brass cutlery and all sort of bric a brac - in place. Manazuru is a small charming place where strangers still talk to each other and go out of their way to help visitors. We were a couple so it was a wee bit pricey for a longish stay. But the place has two bedrooms and lots of open space. For a family of four looking for a scenic coastal vacation in Japan that’s off the tourist trail I can’t recommend Manazuru enough and it’s unlikely there’s a better place to stay than Chiharu’s.

The place is located on the hill with the amazing mountains and ocean view and prestine facilities just as shown in the photos. You can also ask Yukitoshi san for the private boat fishing. It was very relaxing and fun at the same time! You can bring the fish you've caught to their restaurant and they will cook them for you. That was quite a remarkable experience! I will definitely come back here again! The host is very responsive and kind as well. Strongly recommend to stay this place of you are looking for something slightly rural and Onsen(Hot spring) experiences!

We really enjoyed our stay and found it a very relaxing space. The house works well and kitchen is good for anyone planning to cook. Others have commented there is the noise of trains passing but it didn’t bother us. We really enjoyed some walks from the house into the local hills behind. Good host who was very responsive and helpful dealing with any questions / queries and local recommendations. Would recommend.
