We staying for 6 days to do some tarpon fishing. The house was spotless when we showed up. Mike is super responsive! I would highly recommend this house as we will be staying here again. Pool was great! House was perfectly stocked.

Beautiful home and pool in quiet neighborhood close to all the beaches we wanted to visit. Love this area and highly recommend Melissa as a host. This is our second time visiting one of her homes and couldn’t be happier with the experience all around.

The hammock hangout was a beautiful home for a trip to Venice. I went with my two little kids, husband and dog and we all felt at home. We enjoyed eating out on the lanai, taking walks to the intercoastal waterway and swinging in the hammocks outside. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We enjoyed this wonderful home, with all the conveniences we could ask for. The outdoor living area was beautifully furnished with all that is needed. The heated pool was great for an early morning swim or a late evening one. Having a garage with remote door opener was an added bonus. Sabina was very cordial and addressed all questions we had, even how to change the time on the microwave, ha ha. We will definetly stay here again if we are in the area.

We had a wonderful experience in this home. The pool was a blast, baby safe inside and out of the house, quiet neighborhood and close to many fun things to do.

Another successful stay! We were so happy this home was available again for Memorial Day weekend. The location is close to local restaurants and the boat ramp. The house is beautiful and spacious. The pool and boat dock are 10/10. Hosts respond as soon as you have a question. We look forward to staying here again!

We only stayed for a couple days, but wish we could’ve stayed longer! The unit was nicely decorated and had everything one could need for even longer stays. Courtney was a great host and promptly responded. We would definitely stay here again!

We felt that a few things could have been better clarified in the guide. 1. Guide startes "washing machine and separate dryer are in the utility room next to kitchen". Not so. Laundry facility is in the first building. Laundry room is pretty messy. 2. We figured out, hopefully correctly, that the whole back area from the 1st building to the last are "commons" area, since the beach area was not at our unit (#8). BBQ was not at our unit, but there were a couple in the presumably "commons" area. If this is so, we feel this should be mentioned in the guide. 3. Guide states propane tank is in the garage. There is no garage. 4. Safety concern - The deck could use some repairs. Screws and nails are loose. There is one board in which the end of one side has popped up. 5. Just a suggestion. Unit could use a full length mirror. Don't get me wrong. We enjoyed our stay, resident alligator and green iguana were a nice rustic addition.

The place was very clean and tidy upon arrival. Every concern was met with exceptional response time! We enjoyed our stay, and would recommend for anyone looking for a quiet space to stay. We had no issues finding the enterance with the insructions given and were easily able to access the property. The pool is shared which I didn't notice on booking but was not an issue during our weekend trip.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Mossy Oak Ranch — it was everything we were looking for to celebrate our 15-year anniversary. Quiet, private, and relaxing, the backyard amenities were absolutely breathtaking. It felt like having a luxury resort all to ourselves, without the crowds. The home was beautifully decorated, and it’s clear that Eileen and John take great pride in their property. The hospitality was exceptional — Eileen was incredibly attentive and proactive, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. She even left a personalized note, wine, and snacks, which made us feel so welcome. I was initially a bit hesitant about the outdoor shower, but it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip! While the ranch isn’t very close to many restaurants (about a 45-minute drive), with a little planning, it wasn’t an issue at all. We will definitely be returning to Mossy Oak Ranch — it was a perfect getaway!

This place and hosts exceeded our expectations! This unit was in a great location- quick walk to the beach, market, restaurants, etc. Also very easy to get elsewhere on the island using the trolley, which drove by frequently. Vanessa was extremely friendly, helpful, accommodating and responsive the entire trip, making it an even better experience! We loved the outdoor space for eating breakfast or just hanging outside in the shade. We didn’t end up using the fireplace but I wish we had the time! The bed was big and comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need if you want to make your own meals. Truly impressed and can’t say enough great things about this spot! We will definitely be staying here next time we come back!!!

Lovely, private, peaceful place to stay in Sarasota. It was perfect for the 2 of us and much bigger than expected. Nice outdoor area to sit and relax. 100 recommended!
