Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Mammoth Cave

Our two families with young children thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Captains Cove with our main mission being to visit Mammoth Cave. Just 45 minutes from the park, Captains Cove was the perfect retreat for us. Kitchen had all the amenities we needed. Only recommendations I could think to make would be to possibly include a baby gate in a closet (lots of stairs!) otherwise, perfect for our families. Thank you!

To say I’m in love with this place is an understatement! I had my bachelorette trip here and it was perfect. I was even gifted a little letter and some snacks for the weekend. Highly recommend this oasis! Allie is the sweetest host too! She responded quickly when I had questions and shared my excitement for my trip. She definitely made this trip amazing for us! Will def be booking again for another vaca

Can’t say enough great things about our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the property, the house and the area. It was the perfect location for access to Mammoth Cave and other cave/hiking options. The house was exactly what we needed for accommodating our family. We were able to enjoy dinners together at the large dining table and game time downstairs with the seating arrangements. We enjoyed the horses and the sunset on our last night was picture perfect. Great host and we will definitely return for another visit!

We had a great time exploring Mammoth Cave National Park and some of the surrounding caves. This house was a wonderfully private, peaceful retreat at the end of the day. Very clean and comfortable! Jackie was an amazing host, very welcoming and responsive!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The house was immaculate. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. The beds were all made and were comfortable. The atmosphere was cozy and we felt at home right away. The kids (all adult) enjoyed the game room and took advantage of the pool table and ping pong. All of us enjoyed the very spacious hot tub. Even though we didn’t do much cooking, I noted that the kitchen had every appliance that you might want. I enjoyed making myself some tea every morning. The house is just beautiful inside and out. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, listening to the various birds, and observing the peaceful lake. The spot feels secluded even though there are houses around, due to the mature trees surrounding. I highly recommend Jean’s place. Thank you for opening your home to us.

checking in on the key pad was quick and easy, the loft wasn't as small as I thought it would be it was comfy and cozy, we loved relaxing in the hot tub, and the shower had amazing water pressure and there was plenty of hot water for 2 showers and doing dishes. The Camden was one of our favorite stays.

We had a great time at this place - enjoying easy access to Mammoth Cave and so many other activities the area had to offer. The hot tub was fabulous, especially for our kiddos. Phillip was super responsive and always provided helpful information in advance. If we come back to the area, we'd definitely stay again.

Very comfortable and clean accommodations. The host Grace was very responsive when I made requests.

Plenty of space for our large family to spread out. Here for graduation and had a wonderful time.

A beautiful little cabin on the water. It had plenty of space for our family of four and our two fur babies. It was very clean and nicely decorated and equipped w the essentials. Lots to do locally. A wonderulf porch and firpit area to relax at the end of the day. We cannot wait to go back.

If I could leave more than 5 stars for extra credit, I would. It was an incredibly peaceful stay. The horses were serene. The dogs were so so friendly. My 10 year old LOVED the tree house and the creek. (She wants a creek in our yard now. lol) The space was exactly as described, looks just like the photos. All the comforts of home. The kitchen had any dishes, pots, pans, containers, foil, etc. you could possibly want to use. And so CLEAN! And Tracy and her family are the most lovely people. I enjoyed getting to know them. I highly recommend staying here!!!!

We were in town for a baseball tournament. Was a great place to stay. Exactly as it looks online. 15 minute drive to fields. Would stay again.

Great place- everything was as described. As the other reviews mentioned the train is extremely close to the house and runs unpredictably. My family found it to be cool, so it was not an issue for us. Overall, great stay!

Very nice stay. Airbnb was clean and neat overall. Loved the late nights at the fire pit definitely would stay again in the future. Loved the 20-30 min drive to most local attractions and Mammoth Cave National Park. Only complaint are the mattresses are VERY firm other than that definitely would recommend.

This was a great place to stay while visiting Mammoth Cave NP with my dog. I will say the kitchen smelled a bit like cigarettes when walking in, but the rest of the house was pristine. Especially the very clean shower which was super appreciated. The backyard was fantastic. The house is pretty close to the road and near the highway so it was loud, but that's the tradeoff of the convenient location. Overall, great stay!

We really loved the house. It felt like "home". It was in a peaceful location & very convenient to where our grandchildren live. we will definitely be back.

The place is easy to find, close to the highway. The main floor has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The basement bedroom is a bit small but still fit two people.

We wound our way through twisty roads and found a treasure! Daniel's house was amazing! It felt homey and cozy and private and relaxing. The beds were comfy. We loved sitting on the front porch and side porch. We went for walks along the roads and watched the neighbors plant tobacco. Our Westie was fascinated by the little horses next door. (We don't think she's ever seen horses before!) We'd have to go check on them when we saw them outside! Nights were quiet and dark so far out in the country. We did many day trips, to Nashville, to the Hermitage, Mammoth Cave and found them all just far enough away and yet close enough to being convenient.

Don’t pass up the Pink House!! The color only adds to the charm! Super cute and very clean home!! Peggy was an excellent host that offered lots of suggestions for activities in the surrounding area. We will stay here again when we return!!

Craig's apartment is behind his beautiful historic home, and is very private, with comfortable seating outside around a fire pit, under a shade tree.... very peaceful spot to hang out in. The apartment is awesome ...very functional and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable and the bedroom was roomy. The shower was great! Appreciated the high top table and seating. The area was super.....easy walk to downtown and great walking all around campus.
