House vacation rentals in Mammoth Cave

I cannot say enough good things about this property. It is exactly as described....immaculate, easy instructions for all appliances, etc., easy check in and checkout, furnishings very very comfortable, beautiful location, the game room was a big hit for our 3 teenagers, as was the fire pit (we used it nightly). Great place to relax after a day of activities and there is a lot to do in the area...cave tours (we booked ours in advance), hiking, fishing, kayaking, ziplining. Animal Kingdom was a pleasant surprise and enjoyed by all (I recommend renting a golf cart while you are there - it was a lot of fun). Nothing was more than a 30 minute drive from the property, and the drive is beautiful. Gaby, host, was very responsive to all of my questions and she responded quickly. I highly recommend "Gather at Serenity Cove."

Our two families with young children thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Captains Cove with our main mission being to visit Mammoth Cave. Just 45 minutes from the park, Captains Cove was the perfect retreat for us. Kitchen had all the amenities we needed. Only recommendations I could think to make would be to possibly include a baby gate in a closet (lots of stairs!) otherwise, perfect for our families. Thank you!

To say I’m in love with this place is an understatement! I had my bachelorette trip here and it was perfect. I was even gifted a little letter and some snacks for the weekend. Highly recommend this oasis! Allie is the sweetest host too! She responded quickly when I had questions and shared my excitement for my trip. She definitely made this trip amazing for us! Will def be booking again for another vaca

We enjoyed a family vacation with four adults and four kids aged 6-9. Pros- clean beautiful home and property. We all enjoyed the hot tub, and the swings around the fire pit. The house was private and spacious. Everyone loved the game room. It was about a 30 min drive to mammoth caves, which we went to most days to see caves and hike. After our outings we enjoyed a lot of time at the house playing board games and hot tubbing. Cons- my husband had to do some figuring out to get the hot tub to heat properly the first night. The outdoor furniture was a little lacking, it would have been nice to have a patio table for dining/playing games. Considerations- not exactly pros or cons but things I would want to know ahead of time- the area is very rural, which was peaceful and what we were looking for, but a drive to a lot of attractions. The house is on a large hill that I wouldn’t like for toddler aged kids. There isn’t really lake access at the house, but this wasn’t an issue for us.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The house was immaculate. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. The beds were all made and were comfortable. The atmosphere was cozy and we felt at home right away. The kids (all adult) enjoyed the game room and took advantage of the pool table and ping pong. All of us enjoyed the very spacious hot tub. Even though we didn’t do much cooking, I noted that the kitchen had every appliance that you might want. I enjoyed making myself some tea every morning. The house is just beautiful inside and out. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, listening to the various birds, and observing the peaceful lake. The spot feels secluded even though there are houses around, due to the mature trees surrounding. I highly recommend Jean’s place. Thank you for opening your home to us.

We had a great stay! Whenever we needed something we were able to get ahold of our host quickly. The house itself is amazing! The area has very limited stores and restaurants -so keep that in mind when booking. We enjoyed the pickle ball courts across the way though! We brought our own tape to mark the lines. Also renting a pontoon boat and going out on the river for the day was great.

We loved our stay! The house was in perfect condition. We enjoyed the screened in porch to most! The house was fully stocked and every imaginable thing that you might need was provided. Very easy, very clean, we felt at home. 10/10 recommend!!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home! The pool was absolutely perfect and provided hours of fun for everyone. The house itself was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The theatre room was a big hit and such a fun way to unwind in the evenings and the game room gave us a great space to hang out and enjoy each other’s company. Every part of the home was inviting and well cared for. A huge thank you to Ashley for being such a wonderful and responsive host. We would absolutely stay here again!

Plenty of space for our large family to spread out. Here for graduation and had a wonderful time.

Missi was a wonderful host and very responsive. My family and I had a wonderful evening relaxing on the covered porch and watching a movie together on the massive flat screen. The beds were comfy and clean. I highly recommend staying at this home.

It was absolutely amazing!!. The place was so spacious. Plenty of towels and washcloths. The beds are very comfortable. Even the outside swing the pillows were absolutely amazing. Everything you could ask for this place has it. We had so much hanging out in the garage and playing games by the pool. The host was amazing. Fast responses and just so welcoming! Also the k cups for coffee was amazing and us girls were very thankful.

Cabin was peaceful and quiet. Great place to stay for a week and unplug from the busyness of life. The host was very prompt in taking care of a slight air condition challenge and we enjoyed our stay with everything we needed. Definitely would visit again!

Our family had a lovely stay here while visiting Mammoth Cave National Park! The house is historic and beautiful, with many thoughtful vintage touches, but all the modern conveniences you need. It was an easy 20 min drive to Mammoth Cave. I would definitely suggest buying groceries on your way in if you’ve got lots of growing kiddos with you- the grocery stores nearby are small and a ways away.

Great place- everything was as described. As the other reviews mentioned the train is extremely close to the house and runs unpredictably. My family found it to be cool, so it was not an issue for us. Overall, great stay!

We enjoyed our stay. The place was very cute and well thought out. It was one of the cleanest Airbnbs we have stayed in. The location was peaceful and quiet. It had everything we needed.

Very nice stay. Airbnb was clean and neat overall. Loved the late nights at the fire pit definitely would stay again in the future. Loved the 20-30 min drive to most local attractions and Mammoth Cave National Park. Only complaint are the mattresses are VERY firm other than that definitely would recommend.

Justin's place is perfect in every way. Short walk to the lake, two beautiful fire pits, comfortable beds, and plenty of room to roam. Justin is also an awesome guy and was there to answer any questions we had before and during our stay. I would highly recommend booking!

It’s a great place for a quick stay. Very easy to find. Neighborhood was quiet. We listened to a revival the evening of our stay across the street. Southern hospitality.

Annette's place was great, easy to get in and clean when we arrived. It is a beautiful house in a beautiful area. We would certainly come back again.

We absolutely loved Kelly’s place. The location is perfect if you are visiting Mammoth cave. We loved the property, much room for our Grandson to play and fish in the pond. The House had everything we needed from kitchen to bathroom! Absolutely fabulous! If we visit area again we’ll definitely look to stay here.
