Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Malcantone

Wir haben zwei wunderbare Tage in Olgas schönem Haus verbracht. Alles war noch schöner als beschrieben. Sie haben sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert. Alles wurde uns sehr ausführlich erklärt. Und während unseres Aufenthalts hat Olga uns jeden Tag geschrieben und gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist und ob wir etwas brauchen. Ihre Gastfreundschaft war wirklich hervorragend. Ich kann dieses Haus jedem wärmstens empfehlen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Would recommend this spot - you are right in the middle of the busy waterfront! We loved - location (next to where we rented a boat, literally next to the funicular (this is busy frequently so we were able to watch as the line became more manageable) located just steps away from the Airbnb, VERY close to train station, very close to a supermarket, kids loved the hot tub. The host is so responsive and friendly, loved him. We received a welcome bottle of wine which was nice, thank you!! Only minus - (this was NOT terrible) but there is construction next door and they begin early (8am) which woke me up but no one else in the home. The ants, there are some ants that live in the yard in front and end up in the home - this was not overwhelming just slightly annoying.

Ich habe mich in dem kleinen, liebevoll eingerichtetem Häuschen sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage, mitten in der Natur, ist besonders zu erwähnen und in dem verwunschenen Garten lässt es sich perfekt entspannen. Barbara hat mich vorab mit allen nötigen Informationen versorgt und war bei Fragen jederzeit erreichbar.

Enricos Rustico ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und im Haushalt findet man alles, was man braucht. Mit dem ÖV sehr gut erreichbar, so dass wir im ganzen Tal super schöne Wanderungen machen konnten. Jetzt im Mai sind wir kaum anderen Wanderern begegnet. Im Dorf gibt es zwei Restaurants, aber keinen Laden, also Lebensmittel mitbringen, wenn man eine Weile in dieser archaischen Welt ohne Menschenmassen sein möchte oder sonst in den schön gelegenen Restaurants essen. Wir sind sehr zufrieden, in der Schweiz noch so stille Orte gefunden zu haben. Vielen Dank an Enrico!

We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, and inviting. The water pressure and hot water were excellent, and the bed was super comfy. The views were absolutely amazing and made our mornings and evenings extra special. The location was perfect, just a short, easy drive into central Menaggio. Riccardo was an incredibly friendly and responsive host, which made everything smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Amazing host and a breathtaking view. Too bad we couldn't use the pool due to cold windy weather but had an amazing time with family and kids. with only 10 min drive to local attractions and ferry. I would highly recommend this Michele and his property.

Das Haus hat eine fantastische Lage zwischen den Weinbergen von Brissago. Die Architektur, das Interieur und die Räume sind sehr schön und haben uns sehr gut gefallen - wir lieben puristisches Design. Viele Details im Haus und darum machen das Haus zu etwas ganz Besonderem. Wenn man abends auf der Terrasse sitzt , grillt, die grillen Zirpen und man bei einem Glas Wein auf den See blickt - dann ist diese Stimmung etwas Uniques- welches man nicht kaufen kann. Eva - die Hausfee - ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns viele Tipps gegeben. Mille Grazie für den schönen Aufenthalt im Casa Largo. Gerne kommen wir wieder!

Wir waren mit zwei Teenagern im Urlaub und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Sehr geräumige Unterkunft mit spektakulärem Ausblick. Es war alles vorhanden, was den Familienurlaub erleichtert. Ausflüge ins Umland sind wegen günstiger Lage sehr gut möglich. Trotz Regen super Zeit gehabt. Vielen Dank für den angenehmen Aufenthalt.

Tout était parfait , juste une remarque , la voiture est indispensable , l appartement est superbement bien situé , dans une résidence de haut standing , environnement très calme , reposant. Mais pour s approvisionner , c est le parcours du combattant , il faut prévoir .

Ein kleines Appartment mit allem was man braucht in traumhafter Lage mit einem wunderschönen Blick auf den See und die Stadt Lugano. Vorallem der kleine Garten, die Gemeinschaftsterrasse und der Pool sind wirklich ein Mehrwert. Die Seilbahn 🚠 hält quasi direkt vor der Türe 😍. Wir können die Unterkunft jedem empfehlen der etwas abseits von der Stadt (trotzdem super schnell erreichbar) wohnen möchte und die schöne Aussicht bevorzugt. Maddalena ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, antwortet super schnell und wir durften sogar am Abreisetag eine Stunde länger schlafen und später abreisen 🫶🏻. Wir können den Olivenweg ganz in der Nähe empfehlen, schöner Weg am Wasser mit tollen Aussichtspunkten und kleinem Örtchen mit wundervoll kleinen Gassen. Eine Bootsfahrt lohnt sich auch! Ein tolles Stück Erde ☀️

Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Silvia empfangen. Der Check-in verlief sehr reibungslos. Wir haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt und gerne dort Zeit verbracht. Silvia hat uns tolle Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Das absolute Highlight ist der Balkon und der Pool. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

I recommend this apartment loft! It has beautiful views of Lake Como from the small village of Perledo which is in the mountains above Varenna. The apartment was very clean and spacious for 2 people with lots of amenities. We used the spa and heated pool which was nice. Signing up for a time slot wasn’t a problem as there was lots of availability. I recommend renting a car to drive around unless you wait for the bus and ferry schedules. There isn’t anything within walking distance so have a means of transportation to get to Varenna (10 minutes down the mountain). We had the best time and Andrea was very helpful and informative. If we had any questions we got a quick response. 10/10 recommend!!

Super charming home with absolutely stunning views of Lake Como better seen in person. The amenities were wonderful and the hosts were so very friendly, attentive and helpful. Highly recommend staying here! Also, be sure to book any transportation ahead of time.

Alessandra was absolutely amazing, not only while we were there, but leading up to our stay. It felt like we made a friend in Italy. She was friendly, communicative, and helpful! The airline lost our bags and she kept checking in to see if we had an update. She truly went above and beyond! The Airbnb was so clean and welcoming! Right across the street from Lake Como! Beautiful area! Would recommend to anyone!

Die Unterkunft ist einfach einmalig! Der Ausblick mit dem Pool ist wirklich gigantisch! Die Unterkunft war ein Traum wir werden wieder kommen! Alles war wie beschrieben und auf den Fotos. Ein super grosses und modernes Badezimmer.

Die Unterkunft, das Dorf und die Umgebung sind sehr schön. Die ruhige Lage der Wohnung (und doch mitten im Dorf) hat uns sehr gut gefallen und sorgte für Entspannung. Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet. Besonders toll ist die Dachterrasse zur Mitbenutzung. Wir kommen gerne wieder einmal nach Astano.

We spent a long weekend at the apartment and were very happy with our stay. It was easy to find, and Daniela made the check-in process seamless by providing clear instructions in advance. She also shared plenty of tips for local activities and restaurants. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed from cooking essentials to laundry facilities. Although the parking area next to the house was sometimes full in the evenings, there was also some space where you could park just up the road, so it wasn’t an issue. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this place.

Wer Ruhe, Abgeschiedenheit und Entspannung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Das Haus wurde mit so viel Liebe zum Detail restauriert und eingerichtet, dass man sich da einfach nur wohlfühlen kann. Es war super sauber und die Küche war perfekt ausgestattet. Unser absolutes Highlight war der Hotpot unter sternklarem Himmel. Im Tal im Städchen Bioggio befinden sich die nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Coop & Aldi). Kleiner Tipp: Der Coop Markt stellt auch manchmal Angebote bei „to good to go“ ein. Guja und ihr Mann waren sehr gute Gastgeber und immer für uns erreichbar. Sie haben uns zudem mit tollen Ausflugstipps und frischen Eiern von den eigenen Hühnern versorgt.

Eleonara’s apartment was fantastic. Eleonara was easy to communicate with and check in and out was easy. I had a great stay!

Wir waren übers Wochenende in dem bezaubernden Chalet. Auf den Bildern sah es schon umwerfend aus und live vor Ort war es noch schöner! Preis-Leistung für die Unterkunft war weltklasse. Wir waren acht Personen und hatten genügend Platz und fühlten uns sehr wohl. Die Kommumikation war sehr freundlich, schnell und zuvorkommend. Die Sauberkeit und Qualität der ganzen Einrichtung zeigt dass die Gastgeberin viel Wert auf die Zufriedenheit der Gäste legt. Der ganze Aufenthalt war hervorragend und sehr weiterzuempfehlen.

Terrazza sur lago surpassed expectations! We chose to come in from Lugano by Uber (a new service just offered in 2025), from there you do have some stairs to negotiate to the beautiful apartment. However, another option is to take a scenic ferry ride from Lugano to Gandria if you have time and want fewer stairs. Once you arrive, you will find the sparkling clean apartment better than the photos. The kitchen is spacious and very well fit out. A nice dining table provides great views of Lago Lugano. Two spacious bedrooms, both offer great lake views, one with a walk-out to a large patio area, with table, chairs, umbrella and comfy furniture for kicking back. We ate every breakfast out there taking in the lake. A quick 10 minute Uber ride puts you in Lugano - tons of restaurants, shopping and nite life. It’s also a 10 minute drive to the funicular for Mounte Bré (great views and hikes). In town - try the Olive Trail hike in Gandria or take a ferry tour of the lake. Bellissimo!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt bei Aglaia sehr genossen. Man merkt wie sehr ihr ihre Gäste am Herzen liegen! Die Gegend ist wunderschön und toll zum wandern. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!!
