Modernized apartment (70 m²) in one of the most beautiful areas of the Rhön. If you are looking for peace and original nature, this is the place to be. From the windows to the courtyard, the border mountains to Lower Franconia can be seen, e.g. Dammersfeld, Beilstein and Eierhauck. From here, many well-known excursion destinations can be quickly reached. For example, Wasserkuppe, Kreuzberg, Fulda, Bad Neustadt or Würzburg, as well as hiking and bike trails. Horseback riding is possible in the neighboring village.

Welcome to our cozy, modernly furnished apartment – formerly the post office of the village, today a charming, almost detached cottage with direct access from the parking lot. The fully equipped accommodation is only about 250 m from the Main Cycle Path. Bakeries and supermarkets are within walking distance. Bicycles can be safely parked – perfect for active days and relaxing evenings!

Ferienhaus "Himmelhäuschen" (Rhön Apartments)

Unser „Himmelhäuschen“ wurde im Sommer 2021 mit viel Liebe zu Detail kernsaniert. Das Ferienhaus besteht aus einem großen und gemütlichen Ess- und Wohnbereich, mit vollausgestatteter Küche. In der Wohnung gibt es zwei Schlafzimmer mit je einem Doppelbett und ein modernes Badezimmer. Die große Terrasse mit Blick auf den Kreuzberg lädt zum Entspannen und Verweilen ein.

Vacation home with sauna

We moved from the city to an old farm in 2016 and live here together with our dog Dago and three cats in the middle of Schwarzenfels, a municipality of the city of Sinntal, below the beautiful Schwarzenfels Castle. We are gradually renovating the farm. In 2020, our "vacation home" project was completed and we are looking forward to our guests.
