Surrounded by many beautiful natural places, small fine grottos, close to the Maggia River (5 minutes' walk), beautiful hiking trails, fantastic scenery in the valley as well as e.g. Ascona | Locarno on the lake (20 minutes' drive away) What more could you ask for for yourself and the family? This will be your best vacation! Why can we say that? Because it's always been the best family vacation for us since we were little!

Wonderful rustic duplex, nestled in the core of Avegno, offers peace and quiet. Inside there is a small dining room corner with fireplace and pineapple and a new kitchen; going up the stairs you can access the two bedrooms, a double for a thousand and one night and a transformable single bed to a double bed and a comfortable bathroom with a bathtub. Outside there are many spaces to read or eat, a beautiful terrace with a chaise longue, a patio with a table and chairs, and a garden with armchairs.

A tranquil outdoor space features a natural stone pool surrounded by lush tropical plants and flowering shrubs. The greenery adds vibrancy to the scene, with a pergola in the background, offering shaded relaxation in a scenic setting. The mountains are visible in the distance.

We rent our lovingly furnished mountain hut in the Maggia Valley, Canton of Ticino. Built in 1866, Rustico was completely renovated in 2021 and is located on Mount Arnau, above the village of Giumaglio, at 1000 m altitude. The cottage is within walking distance and requires a two hour hike uphill. It offers everything for a cozy and restful stay. Looking forward to seeing you. The apartment is located 50 steps from the world famous Piazza Grande in the historic centre of Locarno. Everything is close by, however, due to its location, the studio is very quiet.
