The liked the apartment really much, especially the view!

The accommodation is great, everything as described and in the photos. It is a bit dated, but we felt very comfortable there. Bruno gave us a very warm welcome and showed us everything we needed to know. When there was a problem with the water pump on the second day, he sorted it out very quickly. We can highly recommend the accommodation.

This chalet is absolutely beautiful! It was exactly as pictured - if not more lovely in person. It was peaceful, clean, and so cozy! We enjoyed making a fire in the fire place when it was cold and rainy. Ana was so responsive and let us check in early and was helpful giving directions and gave great recommendations for places to eat. Hot shower, comfortable bed, washing machine, full kitchen - everything you need! There are, however, some pros and cons with the location to consider. This is a remote property in a small village - which is what makes it so pretty, unique and peaceful. It’s also off the main road on the way toward Pico de Areiro which is great if you’re spending time in this location hiking, canyoning, etc. However, keep in mind it’s very remote. I really did not like driving back there late at night and was a little uneasy sleeping there at night because it felt so remote - but if that doesn’t bother you, I couldn’t recommend this place enough! We would stay again!

Great house. In the city, but a very quiet place. Ricardo is a great host who helps whenever you need him. In addition, there is a car available for guests. I highly recommend it. 👌

We had an amazing stay at this adorable Santana cottage! The view was beyond stunning. The hosts are fantastic. They gave us a welcome basket and provided information about hikes and local restaurants.

Madeira is adorable and the place was too! The accommodation is superbly equipped, you have everything you need. The location is fantastic. In the bedrooms, there are small "windows" to fall asleep and wake up with the sound of the sea. Constantino was super nice, always helpful when we had questions about the island and he gave us great tips. Everything was clean, well-maintained and cozy. This Airbnb was worth every penny! We were more than satisfied!!! Thank you for this unforgettable time!

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment in Funchal. It was spacious, airy and had great facilities for two couples. Each room had its own ensuite and the kitchen was very well equipped. The washing machine was a great bonus. We loved sitting outside on the little balcony with views of the harbour, and we also had access to the rooftop area where the views of the whole town were even more impressive. The location was very quiet and peaceful. It was just a 10-15 minute walk from the main attractions and restaurants of Funchal - (a little steep uphill section on the way back!) We could get picked up from this location for day tours we booked to explore the rest of the Island.

A beautiful apartment, but please be aware it is on a VERY steep hill. You can walk down to the town but even a relatively fit person would probably need to get a taxi back up. Taxi is around €7. Beautiful pool that is shared with apartment on the ground floor. Welcome pack was a nice surprise! Everything is as described in the listing. Cristina is a very responsive host. Roberto picked us up and dropped us back to the airport. Thank you! Madeira is beautiful. We will be back

the stay here was very nice! Andrés responded quickly and was flexible. The apartment is fully equipped. We were two people and found it very spacious. There are several shops very close to the apartment. Furthermore, the apartment remained very cool in the heat. We would definitely recommend it!

Imomind was very communicative and reached out in advanced to make our check-in easy. We only stayed one night at the end of our time in Madeira and the washer and dryer was so helpful for re-packing our luggage! We didn’t cook, but the kitchen looked well-equipped for cooking. We did get warm in the evening since there is no A/C, so we slept with a window and the sliding door open. The temperature outside was cool at the end of May. There didn’t seem to be an increase in bugs when we woke up, so we stayed comfortable. We travel with ear plugs, which was helpful for this night. There is a dog in the area that you can hear barking and the church bells go off every hour and half hour during the day. Parking was easy to find and free, as stated on the listing. We visited the recommended bakery in the morning. It was very busy when we arrived (~9am) and it had good coffee and pastries! Overall, the listing was described accurately. It was clean and modern. We would recommend staying here!

We wanted for nothing at our apartment in Funchal. The space was very well stocked and very quiet when the windows were closed. The view from the second floor was exquisite at night and the location was perfect for walking to excellent pastel de nata, restaurants and attractions. We appreciated the balconies for enjoying morning coffee and always felt safe coming to and from. Highly recommend location for exploring all Funchal has to offer.

We had an amazing time at Jaime's apartment. The place looks beautiful, is really large (2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms) and has an amazing kitchen with a lot of kitchen tools and supplies. The apartment is located in a small village with a few restaurants and a small supermarket. As this village is located on a higher spot, you have views of the mountains and the sea from the balcony. It is recommended to come to the apartment by car, so you can really explore the island from this location. Be aware that some of the roads are quite steep, so it requires some driving skills haha. Madeira has many microclimates and the climate of the apartment was during our stay a bit cloudy and quite humid. Jaime is a responsive host, who sent us many recommendations and information about Madeira, which we appreciated a lot. We definitely recommend staying at this beautiful apartment!

My friend and I had a fantastic stay at Carolina’s apartment. It’s in a great location and is really spacious, with everything you need. They very kindly left fruit and biscuits, which was a lively touch. Communication was very quick and very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Well located accommodation. Small supermarket and bakery very close. As well as restaurants where you could eat. Everything available for a carefree holiday. Airport and Funchal are less than a 15-minute drive away.

My partner and I spent just under a week at Steve Aisling's apartment (Den 3), which truly lived up to its description as 'an oasis in an incredible location'. It was both our first time visiting Madeira and before even arriving, Steve sent through a comprehensive message filled with useful information and recommendations. The apartment was easy to find and check into, and the location is walkable to pretty much everything in central Funchal. Den 3 had everything we could need and was a great base to come back - a glass of wine or beer on the balcony in the evening was such an incredible way to finish a long day exploring, and a highlight of our stay. Steve & Aisling were responsive to any of our queries and made it known they were there if we needed anything further. This was our first trip to Madeira (of I'm hoping MANY), and I would definitely look to stay if we return in the future!

Great apartment. Everything as described. Tip...bring some shower/bath gel or buy some locally. There was only little bottles of shampoo. This was to start you off when you arrived, but, if you feel like a shower after a long journey it would be nice to have just a couple of small bottles of gel just for the initial shower or bath. It was quite noisy when we stayed with very loud building works with an excavator loading and crashing rocks and boulders into the lorries and travelling right past the apartment loaded with all of those 🥺 This was at the front of the apartment, so although we couldn't use the balcony there: thankfully the bedroom was at the rear of the property, so a lie in was possible when the work started early in the morning. However, this may not be the case for any future guests as they may have finished the works before they arrive. Other than this problem, we had a great time on this beautiful island ( our 8th visit and our first time in self catering)

We stayed for a week with 4 in a very nice apartment. We enjoyed the 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Ideal for 2 couples. We highly recommend this clean and tastefully decorated accommodation. This condo was beautiful, clean, and had an amazing view. Plenty of seating, close to a grocery store and many restaurants. The infinity pool which looked over the ocean was lovely. We would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed the individuality of the apartment and the outdoor space . It is up a hill but all good exercise ! The bus stop for the ride to Monte Palace Gardens is close by and makes a lovely day out . Carlos is welcoming and the apartment is lovely and clean .

Delila was an great host. Apartment was clean with all the amenities. Location is great, close to the beaches, stores and restaurants. Bus stop is right in front of the apartment.

I consider my stay at Jennifer's apartment to be one of the best I've ever had. Our group felt very comfortable in the apartment, we had a lot of space and everyone could spend time freely. The view from the balcony was great, the view of the ocean and the surrounding banana plantations pleased our eyes. We prepared meals ourselves in the kitchen, which was fully equipped and there was a lot of dishes and cutlery. In the room with a barbecue and billiards, we had a great time in the evenings, everyone found something for themselves;) I highly recommend staying with Jennifer, the best option you can find on the island.
