Hello! We are Sonia, Elio and our daughter Beatriz. Our goal is to make your vacation unforgettable!! Welcome to our home!! The "Casinha da Beatriz" is located in Santana, land of typical houses, ex-libris and tourist poster of the island of Madeira. They were houses composed of an attic, where agricultural products were kept, and a ground floor with the living area. We rebuilt one of these typical "little houses," dating back to 1950, with all the comforts of today. It overlooks the sea/mountains.

You can watch the boats come and go in the harbour which looks fabulous by night.

All around, the guest can be in direct contact with Nature, from the chirping of the birds early in the morning, to activities in it, such as watercourses (Levada do Castelejo 50m away), trail, hiking and even surfing. Ideal for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy a few serene days.

Laurinda's Cottage is ideal due to its proximity to various amenities in a central location. Transportation options, such as buses from the airport and a 10-minute taxi ride, make it easily accessible. Within a short walking distance, you'll find a bakery, supermarket, beach, restaurants, and cafes. Buses to Funchal run every 20 minutes close by (5min walk).
