We felt very relaxed and comfortable at Antonio’s lovely house and the garden and views were impressive. We appreciated the interesting features in the garden with its nature feel and enjoyed the pool and sauna which we thought was a real asset for the place. The house is interesting and cared about and Antionio was an excellent and helpful host. We were glad of the car we hired to access shops, restaurants, beach and walking areas as without one would be difficult but it suited us really well as 4 adults who wanted a base from which to explore Madeira.

Pedro is the best thing about this place the man is a legend really kind and helpful goes over and beyond. The place is so nice pool is amazing with fantastic views. I can not fault the place. Over three floors we had 12 people in it and didn’t feel cramped. Book this place you will not regret it

A beautiful, immaculate house with EVERYTHING a guest could hope for. I don’t think we have ever stayed in a house that was so well equipped. It is located quite far from the old Town of Funchal and a bus or taxi ride is essential. If you haven’t been to Funchal before you need to get used to its hilly setting. Some are very steep, but there are plenty buses and taxis both priced very modestly. You will not be disappointed with this house, its pool and stunning views.

We really enjoyed the accommodation! (family of 6 people) This one is well located, a beautiful view, very peaceful and private place. It is very well equipped, heated pool (for €30/day), barbecue available, very spacious and clean. Which makes it a great value. We recommend it!

This was by far the best AirBnB we’ve ever stayed in. Antonio was so helpful from the very beginning (he sent lots of info ahead of our arrival), made sure we could check in in the morning after our early flight and welcomed us personally at his lovely house with pool and all amenities one could look for (specifically in the kitchen and bathrooms, where we found all types of equipment, shampoo, tissues etc). The beds were comfortable, the view was stunning. We were a group of 6 and enjoyed cooking together (particularly barbecuing outdoors), but the house offered many peaceful corners for each of us to relax in, too. We also really appreciated Antonio‘s recommendations for hikes and other things to do on the island. Thanks a lot for everything!!

We had a great stay at Jorge’s place. Beautiful views and the house had everything we needed. Jorge was fantastic host with loads of recommendations and also communication before, during and after our trip. The house was in great location for amazing local hikes, the beach, as well as the natural pools at Porto Moniz.

We had a wonderful stay at the Airbnb. The accomodation is located perfectly to discover the whole island. The communication with the host was without any problems.

We just finished 2 magical days at Patricia’s home and cannot say enough incredible things of her place. The house itself is BEAUTIFUL, with an amazing pool and jaw dropping views. In addition to this she was so accommodating to us and made sure we were comfortable the entire time!!! Uber’s and Bolt’s are easy to call and extremely affordable. We did not want to leave and are already planning our next trip to her home!!

Perfect accommodation, very spacious and good location, close to the airport. Beautiful view, clean linen. Slight downside, it is specified in the listing that the apartment includes a parking space, but it belongs to the neighbor. To park, you have to leave the car in front of the gate.

The stay was amazing, Jose was very cooperative and helped when we needed things to be fixed or done. He helped us check in very smoothly despite our flight being delayed. He is an amazing host, and the house is incredible.

A nice unique place that incorporates the cliff side. Clean and well equipped. Parking is on the road below, about 35 steps up to the house. You can see the highway from the deck. There is some road noise but not bothersome. The path to the beach was closed.

Very nice apartment, large, really very clean and well-equipped. The kitchen has basic condiments (oil, vinegar, coffee, spices,...) perfect for guests. Beautiful gallery with small sofa and table chairs with views of the sea and the tip of Saõ Lourenço. Very comfortable bedding and bed mattresses. The rented apartment occupies everything on the 2nd floor of the building, we feel at home and we do not hear the occupants downstairs. Easy access to the highway (2min) and airport (5min) and very well located for visiting the eastern half of the island including Funchal. Airstrip from the Airport visible from the apartment but the noise is not disturbing and it is rather interesting to see the planes take off! I recommend it without hesitating and communication with Anton was easy and fast. Great experience for us! Thank you Anton!

We absolutely LOVED our stay here! The house is extremely clean and matches the pictures perfectly. We even had freshly stocked groceries when we arrived which was a huge plus after 3 long flights. This location is so close to many delicious restaurants and the beach. We absolutely loved the pool and sun bed. 10/10 recommend!!! We already want to plan another trip back 🩷 THANK YOU!

Absolutely loved our stay here for the week! We loved the ability to walk into town and grab food at any time. We found a number of great restaurants! We also loved being within the energy of the town of Camara De Lobos. It was very warm, welcoming, and vibrant. We loved the home and felt it was clean, beautiful, and the perfect opportunity to slow down life and enjoy the sound of the ocean. The breeze was able to keep us cool (mid February visit for us), the sound of the ocean helped us drift off peacefully, and we enjoyed the opportunity to lounge in the sun on the many decks available. Parking was simple and free right around the house. We had very prompt communication and felt very supported. Overall the location was a great spot to adventure to the rest of the island. If we ever return to Madeira this is where we will be staying!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. The view and atmosphere are incredible. We were very comfortable here, and the welcome basket was a very pleasant surprise, perfect for an evening meal. We highly recommend this home if privacy and relaxation is what you are looking for after a long day of hiking and exploring!

The stay at Diamantino’s was great. The location was perfect, close to hiking, around 7 minutes from the airport, and very good restaurants within walking distance. The bnb was nice, clean and the host was very responsive. Thank you for a great stay!

The villa was beautiful - stunning location - and perfectly furnished. Lovely walk to Ponta do Sol village but the walk back is not for the faint hearted - Bolt is available :-) Whilst there were a few teething issues on arrival, Rita was super responsive and helpful in sorting any problems and our stay was great. It was a lovely stay in a stunning villa with amazing views and we would love to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Olesea's place. Everything was a good fit for the description of the place. The lower level was, as described, rather low as regards the ceiling height, tall people should keep that in mind. From Gaula we were very well connected to destinations in the east and north of the island.

WHAT A VIEW! Gorgeous home with fantastic views of Funchal and the sea. Quiet and spacious home. Quick and inexpensive Bolt ride up the hill to relaxing oasis. Antonieta’s home is unique-well appointed, fully stocked kitchen and comfortable surroundings. Antonieta is a wonderful host-she gave us lots of advice and helped us navigate Funchal and Madeira. Anything we asked of her, she quickly and efficiently gave us answers and recommendations. Superb HOST-5 ⭐️

We had an amazing time at this beautiful apartment. Every morning, waking up to the stunning views over Funchal and the ocean was a real treat. The apartment itself is stylishly designed and as someone who appreciates architecture and interior design, this apartement is a great choice.

Carlos is a very good host. The house is beautiful with all the amenities that make you feel at home and on vacation at the same time. The location is very good to easily reach all activities in the north of the island. A quiet location overlooking the sea with very beautiful sunsets. Looking forward to the next visit to Carlos' place.
