The main hall has a wood burning stove in the seating area and a further lounge upstairs with views overlooking the garden .Outside there is a fenced garden with a barbecue , patio and wood burning hot tub for 8 with views of the surrounding countryside and Moray Firth. I had a fantastic stay at this apartment. The photos don’t do it justice, it’s absolutely gorgeous! The high ceilings and well thought out décor give it a real sense of space and calm. Everything was spotless, the bed was super comfortable, and I felt right at home from the moment I arrived. Sean was a lovely host. He was responsive and helpful throughout my stay. I asked for recommendations for where to eat and he shared brilliant local recommendations of different types of cuisines as well as different price points, which made a big difference. You can tell they genuinely care about the experience guests have because a lot of care has gone into the renovation, and for a new listing, it’s already a top-tier place to stay. I’d absolutely book again next time I’m in Aberdeen.

I recently had a wonderful weeklong stay here. It is a great location, easily connected to the other nearby towns by public transit and only a couple of minute walk from the sea. I ended up extending my stay by one night as I was having such a good time. Claude was the best host! She gave me great local recommendations and was very responsive to questions. I even joined her for a local yoga class & swim in the North Sea. If you are looking for a peaceful & cozy place in Macduff - I definitely recommend you book here!

Loved my stay - this property is in a perfect location with great views of the sea. Master bedroom is really comfortable and the house is cosy - loved the seat in front of the window with the view! Kitchen is well equipped. While you're there, I recommend walking through the closes of the village - Denside is a delight at this time of year! Also the effort to get up to St John's Kirkyard via the beach is very much worth it, as-is heading round to Crovie via the Sneuk path. I had a lovely time with the folks in the Heritage Centre - recommend popping in to see them. The nearest parking is in a small car park beyond the cottage at the end of the sea wall, or next to the bins before heading down the sea wall, (see restrictions notice) or at the harbour.

We had a terrific stay at Marie's house - a home way from a home. Marie was an excellent host and was easy to communicate with. She also filled the kitchen with a lot of considerate necessities and treats. The house itself was very spacious amidst quiet and beautiful surroundings. We would definitely recommend staying there.

Loved our stay in Banff at Ellie's place. Banff is such a beautiful historic town and Ellie's place is the perfect place to stay to explore it and its beautiful surrounds. A freshly restored historic house surrounded by great food options and historic pubs just moments away on foot. We arrived at Ellie's after traveling for two weeks and staying at five other locations. Ellie's place by far had the most space and the best shower of anywhere we stayed so far. Something you appreciate after weeks of travel. Can't wait to return to Banff and would definitely rebook with Ellie when we do.

What an absolutely wonderful house with spectacular views in a nice quiet area of Banff. The house was exactly as described with everything you need for a great stay. We came to Banff as we had a petanque tournament in neighbouring Macduff to attend and the tournament ending gala dinner was held in the Banff Springs Hotel right across the road from the house which i didnt realise when booking, made the choice of house even better. Would definitely book this house again. I cannot speak highly enough about it. Tremendous.
