In the churchyard, neighbouring the award winning and brilliant Railway Inn, this 18th century Ketton stone cottage is a very special place to come and stay with friends and family. We have the Rutland Vineyard, a village stores, it is near Rutland Water, there are fab local walks, a great food scene, and there is Burghley House in Stamford, “England’s most attractive town” according to John Betjeman. For me, it is like the Loire and Cotswold towns, but friendlier and with fewer Range Rovers.

Wonderful studio flat overlooking Rutland Water, in the village of Edith Weston. Walk through the paddock onto the bridleway around Rutland Water or to the local pub and farm shop. 5 miles from Georgian Stamford and Burghley House, or to Oakham and Uppingham. This is a lovely base from which to explore beautiful Rutland. I live in the main house, and will be pleased to meet you and help you enjoy your stay. A quick 10 minute drive to another Market Town of Oakham and not far from Rutland Water where you can enjoy some beautiful scenic walks. The apartment offers an allocated parking space and communal paved garden.

Self-contained Studio annexe in Oakham.

Lovely studio, has its own entrance at the front of house and access to back garden through the patio doors in the room. Recently added a shower in the studio so it is completely self contained now. Small kitchen area with sink and a full size fridge, and a washing machine if needed. There is one double bed in the studio, but also a self inflating single air bed with bedding if required. Smoking is not allowed throughout the property .
